Grab my book! Dot Monster ReVolution a.co/d/bkLJUUX Note: I understand it’s a non canon movie (hence Daichi’s double introduction). I’m just saying it’s clearly meant to slot in somewhere around V-Force, like how the DBZ movies all roughly slot in to a saga
When it comes to Kai's absence, japanese voice actress that voiced him Urara Takano had a tough schedule around Spring/Summer 2002. Yeah this movie also premiered in Portugal (where I live) back in September 2007 (11 months after the last episode airing of G-Revolution season) however it was aired with spanish dub. 3 years before Metal Fusion debut in October 2010.
My strongest memory is how Dark Dragoon tried to talk to Tyson's Dragoon (something that no other villain Bit-Beast ever did, except for potentially Zeus), talking about accepting his darkness back inside in order to be whole, and then Tyson just straight up saying, "Nah, we don't need darkness. Dragoon has me". Normally, stories tend to argue about needing to accept your dark half even if you oppose it, but here, you just straight up reject it entirely and even destroy it.
I am also disturbed by lack of Kai in this movie. The first tattoo I got was Kai. But I think the reason was that Kai’s Japanese voice actor wasn’t available to do the whole movie
I can remember exactly when I watched this as a kid. I love the OG Beyblade so much and still do to this day. My favorite part about your video is that you had the exact two thoughts that I did way back then: Needs more Kai and why no new outfits for Ray?
3:15 About Max dying his hair. It could also be taken that he has dyed his hair darker as Max's hair was a noticeable shade lighter in the original series.
So fun fact, the game Beyblade V-Force: Super Tournament Battle, is US original. The character voice got the Nelvana Voice cast, but not every character got their respective voice actors from the dub anime, and with the release date of the game, this likely implies that this game was in development part way though Nelvana's dubbing of V-Force, so suggest that they haven't finalized the entire voice cast as of yet. Why I say this is because Daichi too appears in the game and he's clearly appears from the Movie, and he's got a male voice too. I do wonder if Nelvana originally were going to release the dub of the movie with in season 2.
Another great vid bro! I was one of those ppl that knew nothing about this film growing up and then introducing Daichi this way before the series. I also remember having strata growing up, but always preferred using my guy Driger.
Apart from the absenseof Kai until the last part, is weird how this movie exist like it doesn't, since is the first appearance of Daichi and yet they make him start from 0 in G-Rev. I feel like there was supose to have another movie between V-Force and G-Rev but they never really cared to do it...
I remember when it first released over here in the US my mom went to Walmart in the morning and bought me this movie on DVD. I still enjoy it to this day
3:15 in the sub it goes "just a schoolboy but your hair''s all dyed!" "no, this is..." so it's sort of ambiguous if it is dyed or not. also this was buggin me for the whole video, did you watch this whole thing in 4:3? cuz there is a 16:9 ver out there & it's in high quality to boot!, the cropped footage does not do this movie justice imo
I remember this use to come on Cartoon network like every thanksgiving use to love watching this i grew up with metal fight but Bakuten shoot is what got me into beyblade fr
I never even knew this was a thing. When I saw your upload, I was like, "Why do I not know about this?" Also, we got this before America did? That's rare.
I never knew Beyblade had a filler movie because I was watching OG season 1 and V Force on other language dubs long time ago on normal TV channel. I hope you cover G Revolution season since I've already started watching on UA-cam and give some extra bit of info since some scenes were cut out in the dub.
Never new this movie existed, which is sad because right after v-force ended, i stopped watching and fell out of the Franchise. If i knew this movie existed i think i would of stayed on at least a few more years.
Another great review. Unfortunate about the timing of when it was released and the format of its release. I'm sure it would've been more popular otherwise
I only vaguely remember the movie. I saw it once as a movie rental, while I was staying at a nice motel. Honestly, no offence to the movie, I remember my pool story & getting used to a rechargeable GBA SP, more than the movie. I didn't hate the movie, I think there were just other things around that time that swallowed it up in my memory. Nelvana dubs really don't get the love & respect they deserve, especially these days.
I believe it’s non cannon since daichi appears here and Tyson doesn’t know him and then when daichi appears in g revolution Tyson doesn’t know him you’d think he’d remember the only other guy to have a dragoon
I saw this as a kid when it released in the US. Was confused about the return to V-Force style and the V2 blades being used instead of the engine gear/HMS stuff in G-Rev
I never, EVER knew this movie existed! In North America, the OG Beyblade aired on Toon Disney/Jetix, and was never seen again after that channel was debunked until Metal Fusion/new era was put on CN.
This might be a hot take but I like the cg used in the movie given the time period it was made in, also I originally watched this movie after renting it from a local movie rental place and being confused why Tai and Daichi acted like they didn’t know each other in G-rev lol 😂
feels like forever since I've watched the movie atleast its more entertaining then V force Daichi was a good inclusion glad he cameback for for g revoiution also those cgi bit beasts are yikes to look at
The movie is an odd phenomenon to me. It's still a fun watch, but I can't help but think how weird it must have been for people to be introduced to Daichi twice in this series. And what you mentioned about the movie airing after G-Rev must have been weirder because the western audience would've been expecting the engine gear or hard metal series versions of the beyblades in it. Edit: I almost forgot, since you covered this first, you forgot to mention the lack of Dizzy. I only remember watching the movie and the first 9-10 episodes of G-Rev, so when I went through the entire series, I didn't recognize her.
This movie was good this is the first Time Tyson temporary loss Dragoon which he is the only one not to loss his bitbeast in the series Daichi appear but this is Noun Cannon so Tyson never cannonry losses Dragoon also Miss Kinkade’s mum said that Max Dyes his Hair is because Max’s Hair in Season one was Light Blonde which in V force was A darker Blounde hinting his Dyed his Hair a darker shade but since this movie in noun cannon but giving his Hair is lighter Later on in G revolution him dyeing his hair could be true.
Bro V Force is the least popular season that's why you weren't getting many views... G REVOLUTION would 99% percent get you more views and audience than even Season 1@@thedigiknow

If they would’ve made a GRevolution Movie after the BEGA Tournament, it would’ve been GOATED
Yeah even if they did an epilouge episode after g revolution cuz they did in the manga would have been great

I remember watching this after G-Revoultion. Somebody uploaded this movie on UA-cam. That's where I've watched it.
Same!

I definitely have childhood nostalgia for this, so my vote is for underrated

I had no idea this movie existed, neat! I'll be sure to grab your book!

I just cropped it to 4:3 for the video because of how annoying Beyblade copyright holders have been on UA-cam
@thedigiknow ahh yeah that makes sense, adk motions is brutal with copyright
Max's hair is noticeably darker only in V-Force/2002, the dub tried to make sense of that
I remember this use to come on Cartoon network like every thanksgiving use to love watching this i grew up with metal fight but Bakuten shoot is what got me into beyblade fr

This is my first time hearing about it. Thanks for the info! 👍
I’m a fan and had no idea. Even watched the series recently

can you give use a 2000 tv show tier list and when will the digimon 2024 ranking video come out
I believe it’s non cannon since daichi appears here and Tyson doesn’t know him and then when daichi appears in g revolution Tyson doesn’t know him you’d think he’d remember the only other guy to have a dragoon
Not enough Kai content BUT there's the classic scene of him smiling. And in th ends it's him in the beach and Rei (with the same outfit).
I saw this as a kid when it released in the US. Was confused about the return to V-Force style and the V2 blades being used instead of the engine gear/HMS stuff in G-Rev
You're doing G revo right. I need to hear your thoughts on Brooklyn
Did you see Timothee Chalamet brought a beyblade to some red carpet event?
Of course
Actually its a non canon movie thats why it doesn't fit into the timeline
especially when episode 1 into G revolution when Daichi appears there taken aback by his introduction heck Daichi at this point doesn't even know them
Movies back then we're all non canon

It didn’t come out until 2009 jeez no wonder why I didn’t known it existed!
53 seconds ago is crazy

G revolution when?
Still have this masterpiece on VHS
feels like forever since I've watched the movie atleast its more entertaining then V force Daichi was a good inclusion glad he cameback for for g revoiution also those cgi bit beasts are yikes to look at
I always knew about this movie because I always wanted the villians blades but never found em.
Remember it like a fever dream but never completely finished it.
I hope you do G Revolution

I have 3 blades that were a part of this movie dragoon v2(white ver.), strata dragoon S and strata dragoon V
I love this movie so much
Oka, that really was a weird release schedule
Main villain looks like Lane from beyblade surge
This movie was good this is the first Time Tyson temporary loss Dragoon which he is the only one not to loss his bitbeast in the series Daichi appear but this is Noun Cannon so Tyson never cannonry losses Dragoon also Miss Kinkade’s mum said that Max Dyes his Hair is because Max’s Hair in Season one was Light Blonde which in V force was A darker Blounde hinting his Dyed his Hair a darker shade but since this movie in noun cannon but giving his Hair is lighter Later on in G revolution him dyeing his hair could be true.
I have the dvd for this.
Beyblade was big and popular but it never was as big as Digimon let alone Yu-Gi-Oh - at least as far as I know.
Is the Beyblade Movie cannon?
I gotta watch this lmao
This movie was better than the whole crappy 51 V force episodes
Once you start G Revolution, you will understand why this movie does not fit the timeline at all, and overall doesn’t matter.
I understand that. It’s a non canon movie. Pinned comment
Umm movie? When?
I say the CG's thing was just them experimenting at the time.
Yea
I don’t think I remember this ever happening lol
There was a movie?????
Yes.
Two, in fact.
Ya really trying not to do g rev ent ya man 😂
Nobody watches the Beyblade videos after I finished season 1 so it’s hard to justify months of work reviewing G Revolution
@ it is known as the best season out of all of them but I get ya
Bro V Force is the least popular season that's why you weren't getting many views... G REVOLUTION would 99% percent get you more views and audience than even Season 1@@thedigiknow
Why would you take ao much time for this video? It's feels a decade waiting for your next Beyblade video. Please make g revolution fast
Guess this was the only one i didn't watch.
