I have a VISIO E472VL. I am trying to connet it to a Amazon fire stick. Followed all the directions... nothing! I found your video.. nothing. Used a new fire stick, nothhing. At a loss here.. I have watched your video But something is still not working.. do you have any suggestions?
When you plug-in the fire stick, it goes into an HMDI port, which should show up as an exterior device somewhere on your home screen you have to find it and click on that then you have to use the remote for the fire stick itself to navigate to whatever apps you want to use The most important thing is finding the input
O wow So I have a fire stick that came with my Vizio TV and I bought a new remote and it also had a universal remote that came with the TV but the universal remote only turns the TV on and off while the Amazon fire stick changed the channels on the TV and it's confusing cuz I was able to watch it for a few days all day then all of a sudden the movie disappeared and then it said fire TV then said Amazon then went back to the main home page for Netflix and UA-cam ECT. Then I clicked on Netflix and chose a movie was able to watch the movie half way through then it started again with saying fire TV and then saying Amazon like both were downloading and then do the same thing and then the next time it said optimizing storage and applications then went to fire TV and then to Amazon same as before like both were downloading and it did that a few times before it went back to home when I could click Netflix and click a movie to watch and once again it's doing the same thing Can anyone tell me how to fix this or why it's doing it please and Thank you would be very appreciated
It sounds like you may have a lemon TV. You may have to take it back and get a new one if the TV is already loaded from Amazon, then you may not need a fire stick out an HDMI, which would be one of your inputs so if the TV is already loaded with Amazon, it should just work off one remote but if it has a fire stick also then you would go to that input and just work off that input with the Amazon remote good luck thanks for watching
Check to make sure you have it on the right input whatever HDMI cable connection you put it in. You’ve got to find that input on the TV and it should open up.
Okay so I followed your instructions up until the point when you said firestick saying what do you mean my fire stick is not working and nothing's coming up after I followed everything and all the instructions that you said. Only regular cable when I turn on my TV like normal it's working in the bedroom where I don't have cable but not working in the living room where I have cable and Wi-Fi if you could please assist me or give me some pointers thank you
What you have to do is use your TV controller defined the input that you connect to the fire stick two in the back of the TV. It should actually come up and say fire stick. Once you’re on that input then you can use the fire stick itself to navigate through the different apps on the Firestick, but you also must connect it to the Wi-Fi and your TV must be connected to the Wi-Fi. Check to make sure you have it on the right input whatever HDMI cable connection you put it in. You’ve got to find that input on the TV and it should open up.
How do I turn off close caption with my fire stick Vizio TV?
Each app has a different procedure you’ll have to go into settings. I have a number of videos on the various apps HBO, Hulu, Peacock, etc..

How do you get a internet browser on it?
You have to go into settings and look for the Wi-Fi network and then plug in your Wi-Fi password
