As S-chassis get more expensive, I can see people buying up the plethora of V6 mustangs and swapping a different drivetrain in them for drifting.
@@NONo443 they are honestly really getting to be a really good chassis for it. angle kit, hydro and a seat, plenty of torque on the 4.6 and very reliable motors overall. I‘m hoping to pick one up soon
@@Tac_3403 My thoughts were more geared to the 3.8 cars, just due to how many they sold and how undesirable they've been; compared to the GT.
I have a v6 stang i drift and i love this idea, to broke for a swap at the moment, but ngl the 3.8 still does decent enough for learning!

The clutch return can just be the clutch pedal being adjusted too low. Try raising the pedal slightly by releasing the nut that attaches the clutch rod to the pedal and rotate the rod until there's 3-4 threads sticking out. Tighten the nut again. I had the same problem after replacing the master awhile back

On my subaru gc8 was the oilfeeding line of the clutch old and bad. So what your paddle did was exactly the same on my car. Maybe you have to check that out. Now i got a steel line.

Yo Jimmy. If the clutch fluid was that dark... You might have blown the stock CSC, I was having similar issues and my fluid was black as well. For some reason Nissan put an internal slave cylinder on these cars that is made of plastic. They are hella weak on the HR Z/G cars. You can install a heavy duty CSC, however they need to be replaced every time you pull the trans.
I got the CSC delete kit from Zspeed performance. It gives you a external slave cylinder as well. Which makes bleeding it a lot easier.

Watching those first runs in the Z, I wonder if the issue wasn't so much that it had too much grip but more thatit didn't have enough in the front? Seemed happy in the rear but the front looked like it was pushing hard.
Might be totally wrong, hard to tell from an internet video and the GoPro distorts it but might be something to look at

Concentric slave cylinder. Please get the Zspeed Cmak kit and that will fix your sticking clutch pedal
Yo, z1 motorsports has a z33 wilwood clutch master cylinder with a steel braided line that's not too expensive. I have the same issue in my 350z.
Next time PREP Good, that'll take some of the pressure off and make things hopefully go smoother. Don't try to do too much man, just pick a few events and do them well.
