ABOUT THE GAME:
Welcome to the Stone Age, a time of extreme danger and limitless adventure, when giant mammoths and sabretooth tigers ruled the Earth and humanity is at the bottom of the food chain. As the last survivor of your hunting group, you will learn to craft a deadly arsenal, fend off fierce predators, and outsmart enemy tribes to conquer the land of Oros and become the Apex Predator. - Ігри
A couple little notes, first off being in regards to the 'less powerful' animals you can tame. The jaguars are assassins, and you can send them off to silently kill sentries in enemy camps without raising an alarm or alerting anyone (usually; though they're really good at keeping from being detected.) They're also adept climbers, which means you can send them against enemies on cliffs, towers, and other vertical obstacles. The dholes (and I'm pretty sure it's spoken as 'dole', but again we may all be wrong) can collect materials for you passively as you travel, from animal skins to rocks and sticks. The lions and snow leopard have an ability to tag nearby enemies (similar to the way you can tag enemies with the owl,) making them visible through terrain or intervening structures and cover, and helping you keep track of them, whether in stealth or active combat. While the cave bear is your 'tank' companion, the brown bear can also use his good nose to sniff out nearby resources not shown on the map by default (though some skill investment does make this ability moot, you can at least still ride them into battle.) The badger has the ability to revive itself once on its own if its health is depleted without needing your assistance, and has a passive ability to scare off all wild animals in the game, including mammoths; this can help give you a more peaceful stroll through Oros, but it can make it difficult to hunt anything if they're all running in fear. While in general, you really don't have a great need for these other creatures once you have a sabertooth (due to their sheer versatility in most scenarios,) these special abilities can be a lot of fun in their useful contexts, particularly the jaguars' stealth killing prowess.
Oh, and if it wasn't evident, the Udam tribe are a faction of Neanderthal homonids, while the Wenja and the other tribe you haven't dealt with yet are Sapiens, which might go some distance toward explaining the noticeable differences in lifestyle, architecture, behavior, and appearance between the tribes.
Me who absolutly sucks at fighting, completing entire outposts by standing on a cliff and sending my black jaguar to murder all of them one by one, steered by my owl
i usually use my owl to scout and take out the spear guys so my jag doesnt die then whipe the camp from far away, best feeling

I actually really love the colour grading of this game, it really adds to the feels and really shows the time period that this game is set in
Tip: you can ride the sabertooth and get around the map quicker and you can perform attacks while mounted on the sabertooth

I remember having so much fun with these hunt my most memorable one was the bloodfang hunt since when he ran away I chased him to his cave and fought him in the cave it was suspenful I still remember when he jumpscared me so hard in there.

The natural animal interactions are amazing.. When I first saw the eagle pick up the goat I thought it was amazing... but then I saw a bear take out a Wooly Rhino..
I also found out the hard way.. DO NOT RIDE A Mammoth on Wenja rescue missions.. The mammoth is an equal opportunity wacker.. It will send the ones your supposed rescue also into space and you fail the mission..
Fooster, you’re going to want to ride a mammoth at some point. Can’t take them but it’s so much damn fun. Also, never seen a goat get grabbed like that. Damn thunderbirds.

@@lewd2851 he mentioned the badger, meaning he tamed it… and he’ll post a video of the tames soon, he said. You’ll see then. ;) It has a chance when petting it to do something no other tame does.

Also quick cool fact, the first people to find elephant skulls were convinced they'd found proof of the existence of giant cyclops beings. They were mistaking the trucnk hole for a eye socket.
If you return back to your main village, the Legendary Mammoth's skull will be by the entrance of your cave

Only movie off the top of my head would be ghost in the darkness. you inspired me to play this again just did the big animals as well. Also you don't always have to throw the spear you can stab with it as well. i usually switch to stabbing when I'm down to the last one.

I remember turning off the “recourse gather” animation so I could harvest while on the move.. I always had more recourses after that because they weren’t as inconvenient to stop and pick up

My final answer is The Ghost & The Darkness. It is one of my favorite movies! Michael Douglas & Val Kilmer were AMAZING!
The movie is actually based on real events, Tsavo, I believe is how you spell it... 2 Maneless Lions Estimated to have killed like 50-150 people. You like rabbit holes, enjoy that one!

Oh before I forget... If you are enjoying this game I would check out "This Land is my Land" - I think you would enjoy it. Good mechanics, great atmosphere, immersive. It also has great unique features throughout. Bring us along if you happen to try it out and enjoy it.

Golden Eagles irl will hunt steep mountain-sides for goats, if they find one, they stoop in to grapple their fur and swerve off the precipice; the Eagle is too small to lift goats any distance, but the fact the goat is hundreds of feet off the valley floor makes lift-off a mute point; Eagles with this method only need to knock or drag the goat inches of balance to plummet them onto jagged rocks.

Just so you know after I did alot of research that blood fang saber is the one from the beginning everything I've looked up says so and I even went back to your first video to rewatch the beginning it is in fact the exact same saber all scars match and it is not blind in one eye like I saw someone say it was so you can be happy lol ! Did u know the bloodstained sabor is actually an older sabor that has been through a lot, the blood stained wolfs are actually triplets that were originally the white one and the are really strong for all the packs, and the great scar bear is actually a great bear but has gotten in a lot of fights and is really really ABSOLUTELY strong

I remember completing this game from start to finish on a friends xbox completing and getting all the tames to the end boss mammoth it was sick
Near where I live there is an archaeological dig site called Bear trap cave which according to the dig findings a group of ancient hunter gathers used the cave to kill cave bears ... it's a lava tube cave which narrows until the very end where it abruptly ends in a small room about 15 to twenty feet across ... can you imagine the carnage when the bear got to the end of the line ..? and yes I have been down there and it's pitch dark even at high noon once you reach that spot at the end of the cave ... if you ever get to Idaho you should go there

Bloodfang sabertooth is my favorite unique beast, its not only that he is having the best combination of speed and damage, but his lore too, the way he is acctually connected to the main quest makes him more connected to Takkar. And he is a cat, big one at that, he may be not be as tanky as Scar or stealthy like Snowblood, but he is the fastest and deal the highest damage per minute to my knowledge.
