Recently binged every episode of this podcast, definitely my new favorite pod! So glad you guys are putting out so much amazing content. And the UA-cam videos really brings it up another notch, I love being able to see your guys’ expressions. One of my best friends takes ambian every night to sleep. The next day i always check our fb group chat to see what he bought. He hasn't bought spiders, thank god, but he does do similar and buy shit on amazon or something related to teh conversations we had the day prior. So i totally believe the ambian shopping spree. ROFL

My 5 year old wants a spider so badly, but there is no way I’m starting a tarantula sanctuary in my home. 😂 We have tons of jumping spiders outside so I told her they’re our outside spider friends.
Been a faithful fan since the first episode. But my god I felt like Eve Johnson for this one. I don't know if they were so excited that Derek was on the pod they forgot the caller, but when he asked Maddie about what her mom said how she felt after she sobered up and realized she bought another god damn tarantula, was so important and Maddie couldn't even answer it. I felt amused by the banter, but frustrated for poor Maddie. I wish Kevin intervened in those situations and reeled them back in.
Also, I hope she follows-up and they apologize. LOL.

This is funny, obviously my name is Garrett, so i can somewhat relate, but more with spelling. Every time id get a Christmas/birthday etc card my name would be spelled wrong. All kinds of crazy ways but garrette was one of the annoying ones. My middle name is also pless, kinda boring but later learned its a family name that literally means swamp. So im Garrett swamp Byers 😂. My 3 children are all M names but that wasn't intentional,we just liked the names. My step daughter is Mary Sally (Mary is her deceased grandmother, Sally is her mother.) Miles talal(theyre Lebanese and talal is after their uncle who helped us a lot.) then our youngest is Marceline rey( Miles is special needs and The only show he liked was adventure time so Marceline.) Rey was just me being nerdy and adding a Star wars name bc Marceline is long so Rey was short and fit well.

Did anyone else get the vibe that perhaps mom just likes doing crazy things and the medication might be an excuse? because if I have a family member with a history of random purchasing - if I luv them - as their family member I'm going to start reviewing their purchases more frequently. I'd give full credit to this if it was like we looked at the CC bill and we knew she had bought something and then these show up but who doesn't tell their doctor oh by the way this is making me purchase random things and giving me a shopping addiction - I bought 100 tarantulas and other things in the past but it's all good because I need to sleep lol. I think mom just likes being out there and quirky and knows other people will help her figure it out. I think mom needs a hobby, a new medication, and an intervention because this just doesn't read as a "casual" medication side effect to me.

I don’t understand how having the same three letters is any sort of tradition…a family name would honor the first, middle and last…I only know this because I am a third in my family and lost out on possibly being a 4th because my great grandfather’s middle name was different than my grandfather’s. If the hubbs doesn’t want to have all three names the same as his, I have to disagree that this is a family name…especially if there isn’t a lineage of that exact name…if I am wrong, I’m open to persuasion to the contrary…
