The fourth installment of Battle at The Berrics, U.S. vs. THEM, pinned the top American skateboarders up against the best of the best from around the world. The first round of the competition involved sixteen skateboarders from the United States competing against sixteen skateboarders from foreign countries, such as Brazil, United Kingdom, Canada, Colombia, Germany, Sweden, Australia, Spain, and the Netherlands. what unfolded after was history.
Battle at The Berrics 4, U.S vs. THEM was a global event, including names such as Eric Koston, Paul Rodriguez, Shane O'neill, Torey Pudwill, Luan Oliveira, Tommy Sandoval, Morgan Smith, Tom Asta, Alex Mizurov, Ronnie Creager, Enrique Lorenzo, PJ Ladd, Albert Nyberg, Peter Ramondetta, Rodrigo TX, Danny Cerezini, Mike Mo Capaldi, Lem Villemin, Jimmy Carlin, Felipe Gustavo, Ishod Wair, Mark Appleyard, Dennis Busenitz, Wade Desarmo, Davis Torgerson, Sewa Kroetkov, Cory Kennedy, David Gonzalez, Chris Cole, Willow, Billy Marks, and Benny Fairax. Who will be crowned the Battle At The Berrics 4 Champion?

Cody Cepeda and Morgan Smith biggest upsets of Batb. Morgan was the only foreigner left and Cody was the only Joe left. Both won without letters and both killed it

@@jablesmac Everyone expected PJ to win since PJ was a flatground machine against Morgan and Morgan was the only Canadian (“Them”) and Morgan got no letters vs PJ. Cody was the only Joe in Batb 7 and everyone expected Luan to win since Luan is a flatground machine as well but Cody didn’t miss a trick in the ENTIRE FINALS and skunked Sewa and Luan in the same night. Those 2 are the biggest upsets, comebacks, success stories and triumphs of Batb along with PJ’s back to back trophies, Luan’s trophy and Jamie’s trophy.
Morgan Smith was on fire that night.

also i can't help but laugh every time i rewatch this game and the kid supposedly rooting for canada/morgan kept making the redo hand sign against morgan.

Im from Toronto and while Morgan was a lot older than I, I did skate with him a few times and see him around a lot in the downtown core areas. I remember him skating at an indoor park and just tre flipping the set every try bolts at least 5-10 times with his gf/wife. Nice dude and super talented.

Still a mystery how PJ couldn't land that cab heel cuz he did one in rounds two and three on offense lol. Just one of those days haha this battle was great, great nostalgic moment.
Morgan did own PJ and congrats to both for making it that far and for Morgan winning but I still feel PJ is one of the best skaters ever. PJ has proven himself time and time again and his technicality is suburb. Again congrats to both and all who participated!

This felt set up to me... Morgan became pro right after this and etc etc think they used this to expose him and get him pro status. PJ was super chilled out and didn't have his usual charisma when playing skate
