Great video explaining everything. Picking up 2016 Street Glide this week and after watching this I feel like I will be able to be up to speed pretty quick with the ins and outs of how the media center works and how to navigate it.
Hey man thanks for watching , if there are any questions you have with the system , or if you have a question or are unsure about anything hit me up , or just leave it in the comments and I can do another video on it . thanks for watching . .
Thank you for the informative video. I'm a first time Harley rider and ride 2014 street glide. This helps me understand all the buttons and panel. Really appreciate all info to help out a new rookie! Looking forward to many more of your videos!
Hey man, thank you very much! Just recently got into riding and have fallen in love with the sense of freedom it comes with. I’ve been a bit overwhelmed with everything I need t learn and that’s the best video I’ve seen yet!! Much appreciated, look forward to anything else you might post to help us rookies out. Peace
I rented a '14 SGS for a weekend and loved it. 600 miles in two days. Never did figure out the Nav but didn't care. There's something to be said about getting lost in the Ozarks at sunset on an awesome bike!
Yo thanks brother… I’m in the middle of buying this exact bike from a friend and defiantly got a lot of information from your video. Thanks for All the info.
I wish I had seen this earlier. I bought a 2014 Street glide back in March. No instruction manual with it. And figuring out what everything does has been a bit of a challenge. Especially the audio system
Good stuff.. Coming off a 97 Fatboy I was confused lol The dealer only showed me how to start it then collected the check 😅 This is also what was making me hesitant about buying a 24 the tech is overwhelming
@tylercampbell6365 it seems worse than it is . Once you get going, you'll see it's actually very intuitive, I hope you enjoy it , and thanks for watching
The warning screen on radio will go away by itself without input from rider. If It does NOT update the infotainment system. The update Down loads and instructions are found on Harley Davidson website.
Excellent presentation, very much appreciated. This is what AMERICAN EAGLE HD shoulda demonstrated to me at the time of purchase rather than grabbing my money and tossing my ass out the door.. 😎
Wow doesn't sound like the best experience sorry to hear that man , but as long as you got the right bike , the information is always available. You just gotta know where to look . Ride safe
I went thru most of the comments but did not find one that I have a question about. First tho, thanks for the great informative video . I've had this 2015 Street Glide Special for about 6 months and have learned a lot just from your video. Is there a way to adjust the brightness of the instrument gauges? Thank you kindly.
yes there is but I am afraid that I do not remember just how to get to it I believe it was under the display you should be able to change both brightness as well as color.
every time i shut the bike off and restart it i have to go thru the menu to use the bluetooth connection again. how can i get it to connect automatically ??
That's a great question, but I'm afraid I don't have the answer without being able to mess with it in person. I would say that the problem might be in the device once the Bluetooth is turned on it should stay that way. If you have a good knowledgeable shop around, i would consult them . Good luck with it 😉. I hope I helped
Awesome video, so here is my love hate relationship with Harley. Ok, so you move throttle forward to shut off rear cylinder and cool down engine. why, why not simply add an engine cooling ( not just the heads as in my limited ) and bam problem solved. Another example of love hate, Most phone companies have bigger phones, Harley makes a cubby hole for a small phone with a usb cord, I mean really? I can barely fit my iPod in it and now must keep my phone in the rear trunk area. Come on Harley wake up!
I tell you it has been my experience that Harley has to be careful about how much tech they allow on there bikes at a time because of the typical Hd customer is not really after the the tech they are more after the heritage of the brand , any tech that they accept they want hidden , take for example how they have to route the coolant lines through the frame , or hide the abs sensors inside the hub of the wheels . as for the cooling system , with the M-8 I think they have it pretty solved , but they had to do it in steps , I remember when I started in the business you could not give away a Fuel injected HD now nobody would even consider a card for anything other then a chopper build ,lol. Thanks for your comment and for watching
@@theusedbikespotlight3603 Well sir, you shed a light I never thought of. I think you are right. I will never own anything other than a Harley ( having owned 2 Goldwings) I do wish my limited had a reverse, but I still get a hard on with out it. Thank you. Happy Holidays.
I just bought a 2014 Street Glide Special, your video did a better job informing my about my bike than the salesman did.
I'm sorry to hear the sales guy wasn't over the top , but thanks for watching!
