#Elestrals #MBT #TST
I never realized until watching these TSTs how much these kinds of videos benefit from having an online sim. TMTs are relatively easy to follow since you can see hands, pause to read cards, and everything is post commentated. Here, while it's still entertaining, it feels like I'm just nodding my head and pretending to understand the gameplay rather than actually learning
We do have an online sim, but it's a mobile app. Still don't know why they don't use it, though.
I think bigger than an online sim is having a voice over. I think that could be something to think about. Although I know it’s a lot more editing so there is a give and take for sure
@@westhescrubit's bad and it's in alpha so understandable
@@MrRishi_YT100% agree. Even with the live gameplay, a commentary track that explains what each action actually does to change the board or gamestate would be massive. Hearing the person at the other side of the table is fun and nice, but not as much as understanding what’s happening.
@@MrRishi_YT Yeah a VO would do wonders
For those Non-Solo Testing, we should also have the opponent's info in the description. Especially if they're a content creator.
First of all, the overall improvement in the deck section is phenomenal. My only "critique" for this video is maybe to do add a little bit of editing in the clash part, showing important cards. Stuff like tsunami, earthquake or rabbit is not necessary, but this need to be more accesible. I feel like not only aiming at people that play elestrals, but making it more inclusive to get into will help both the game and the channel
As a last note, I love that you are doing this. Elestrals is a ton of fun
I agree with other commentors, having flash ups of the cards and their effects would be EXTREMELY helpful, it's hard to follow along otherwise
Grandma get the camera, it's MBT elestrals
Ah yes, the Dupe Lock turbo deck
I feel like this would really benefit from cardprotagonist style presentation with each played card shown, and people's names clearly on show. Alongside the names of the decks they are playing.
The theatrics are optional.
SPOOOOOOOOOOOORES
When does he realize he needs a lunar spirit for Brontowisp😂
in the game he has it
The other commenters definitely have a point with the gameplay section suggestions, I wonder if having you do a post game play by play would still work with this format
Mbt keep up this content man! You got me into the game and kept me playing Yu-Gi-Oh until recently, love everything you do.
Also what's the simulator called that you are using?
I am like 70% sure that is the phone app. The elestral website links to it and it can be found on the app store. It work well for game just warning the UI and UX are the rough patches so if that bugs you it might be worth waiting a little bit.
I'm loving the Elestrals content coming through now, it's an enjoyable game whilst I do agree that the lack of a simulator in the videos does hurt a little from a presentation standpoint, I also can't deny that it's just wonderful seeing MBT having a lot of fun with a game with some social aspect in video form. Can't wait for more!
Yo I think Yugioh might have taken some inspiration from this game
Specially those ABCs, no wait I think it was XYZs, something like that, they also attach cards for stuff
Did you know that TST (Twenty Spirit Testing) almost reads like TEST or TESTING????! Wild
Not the 8 gazes in call 😂
I've been getting into this game recently but like other comments are saying it does get difficult to follow along. It would help if whenever a card was used a picture of that card popped up
Loving the videos, but could you put out or recommend a guide that does a good job of running down all the basic mechanics for someone who barely has enough brainpower to play Yugioh?
He made a video on the basics in his clip channel I believe, the elestrals main channel has a decent guide as well
Can you please use the dead sidebar space to display key cards that are going off during the video even if it's card we should *know* or isn't new.
Just have it slide up from the bottom and then sit static till the next one comes up.
If MBT is asking for the effect then the audience is likely too.
hey MBT i'm curious is the simulator you use for the deck list availible for public if so How do I get it?
Twenty spirit testing is the greatest name I've ever heard
1 video in and we're already giving up on recording skits for the side channel
I am confused, doesn't the Brontowisp need a Fire and Lunar spirit under it to have it's effects?
I agree with all the other people talking about flash ups of the cards to one other thing and this might be dumb and a me thin but the lots of movement on the side pannels/background is rather distracting honestly even if ir was the same effect but at like a quarter of the speed
My LGS just announced they're going to be the first LGS in europe to stock elestrals, can't wait to waste all my money on it
wait...wheres the lunar spirits?
Fr bro just forgot the lunar spirits in the profile LOL
OPE
What program are you using for these deck profiles?
Your deck list didn’t have the one lunar spirit for the bront lol
MBT forgot to pay the wisp 1 cost for the first one unless I missed it. I am surprised no eruption unless that serves better in the Fire Nexus decks.
Since he’s not playing cards like Krakatuga to get additional value out of Eruption, using 2 Fire Spirits to burn the opponent for 3 may just not be worth playing over defensive cards like Laurels or consistency pieces like Nectar of the Gods.
Seems like its not too costly to splash in powerful interaction tools like tsunami and earthquake into every deck. Is there any good strategy to punish or take advantage of this commonality in deck building?
Is Fire Nexus a deck? Hephaestus doesn't seem great for using to store Fire Spirits, so what's the primary method of getting them onto the board? And from there, I don't think I've seen a worthwhile receive effect in Fire yet. Still very much learning to game though, so I could be missing something.
I love elestral videos! Lets see what the shroomjaks do...
Doesn’t that card need a lunar spirit? Wouldn’t it be misenchanted the way you played it?
Coder jumpscare
Is there a reason for no owlune?
DUPE LOCK IN 2024 WOOO
I thought this was a grubby video
BUT FIRST!
Wasn't the point of that post that both spores and mold were good things 🤔
Good video 👍
someone PLEASE let me redesign that deck builder interface
really feel this series suffers hard from not having play-by-play commentary. i have absolutely no idea whats going on. also moving from ygo, a format where reading the card does in fact explain the card as long as you understand PSCT, trying to understand wtf elestral cards even do is so goddamn confusing with all these keywords. Disenchant? Rune? what do any of these effects mean?? especially with this being such a new game, i'd love it if you had like something to explain the effects in laymans terms, even if it was just a footnote on the side
is not there a simulator for elstrals ?😊
Wait this game has pot of greed
A PoG that takes both 10% of your lp and resources for the entire game
Pharoguist? :)
Is the opponent daimax?
What's the morphros list, it looks cool
Yeah the game is too new, we need more context to the matches than just one of the decks.
@@arkadarkartist I just love the idea of the morphros deck, it seems so cool.
uncommentated gameplay in a format where you cannot read cards is horrible
I'm ngl, this format feels very inferior to TMT and its like 90% due to the actual game portion, having several games commentated just does a much better job at keeping the viewer actually in the know in regards to what cards and decks do, in comparison to a single game where you two just play cards without explanation and the viewer is just kinda supposed to guess what you're doing at any point (especially since we cant even see your hand)
add to it that its also soooo slow paced, it doesnt do a great job at keeping you hooked
