True. In today’s day and age having an official simulator is a must to succeed if you aren’t tied to a recognizable ip. And of course it also needs to get into TCG player too
Glad the sim’s working well enough to showcase now. Still a lot of work to be done on it (I have a list of improvements to implement) but it’s at least at a stage where we can show games more clearly for newer players.
I can't stress enough how thankful I am just as a card game enjoyer that steps are being taken towards accessibility. My experience with the game is as a spectator, but I really want to try it out before investing into product just so I don't get card game "Paris Syndrome" and regret the purchase later.
@@allmightjunior6917 TheLaw has noted that his prototype sim is a fork of the YGOMega client, and I'm pretty sure the source code for that client can be found online.
New simulator and new relevant endcard? Now this is higher production value, it’s really starting to feel like a dedicated Elestrals channel, I’m excited for more!
@@funz6491 UW Control means Blue White Control, a MtG deck that uses Blue and White cards. It has basically been the most popular type of control deck throughout MtG's history.
Literally just discovered Elestrals today, it seems like a really cool tcg! :) Now that yall have a functional simulator would love to see more gameplay! I'm definitely subbing to keep up with this tcg :D
I think Chronodile is cool, but I wouldn't call Lochagon strictly worse than it. I think Loch's biggest issue right now is that it just can't take advantage of its greatest strengths. That being it's not once per turn, and you can trigger it on the opponent's turn. So far though, the only ways to get that setup are just super specific and the only ways to get Loch to trigger on opponent's turn are Foamee into Dratagua(if it somehow isn't suppressed) or Altar of Stars onto Dratagua. Loch will probably get better with time and the two will become two options for the same strategy that all depends on what style you want to go for. I honestly hope that comes to pass because I love when decks have multiple options like that!
Was playing last night with my group, and we were discussing plucky and elechik. I'm in the camp of aren't running thunder or rabbit in your deck, and you are running solar just run plucky even though it is more defensive play
crazy to see how close this is to the starter deck, considering I just picked one up earlier this week. Also, is this a new facecam? vid quality seemed a little fuzzy compared to other videos.
This looks sick. I am new to the game and have one question. I know Elestrals that require two or more spirits to play must be ascended with an elestral already on the field. Since Chronodile requires three spirits can I ascend him with an elestral that has one spirit and pay two from my spirt deck? Or do I need to have an elestral that has two spirits to pay one from my spirit deck?
You need cost -1 on elestrals on board. Ie a 1 cost with 2 spirits can become a 3, two 1 costs with 1 ea can become a 3, but 1 cost with 1 can not. You can only use 1 spirit a turn for your normal action, so 2 is not allowed
may i ask why plucky over elechik? is it because you already want to be on 2 luminape for the chronodile? is it not justifiable for 4 zaptor to enable elechik?
Plucky is easier to ascend into Chronodile since you can nexus from Poseidon and ascend it. Elechik doesn’t have that same luxury since it’s not water or solar
Probably something for score keeping on matches? Nothing else really makes sense, specially with how no such indicators were used physically nor referred to during the remote games shown on previous videos.
Those are zones to hold cards that are being revealed or looked at from top of deck (such as with Foretell or Astrabbit) that can be toggled to be face up or down.
That's kinda the point of the starters, they're meant to be a buy this, add a few bits and done unlike yugioh where its buy 3 then the main set secret rare playset you need to function and then some random cards from the past 2 years
Definitely believe once there's a workable simulator for the game then more people will end up playing and buying cards irl
yeah, for sure. i've been looking to pivot to Elestrals for ages now, but i can't realistically buy singles or sealed product where i live
True. In today’s day and age having an official simulator is a must to succeed if you aren’t tied to a recognizable ip. And of course it also needs to get into TCG player too
Same, i'm from Argentina and buy things from outside the country is kinda dredge but having the ability to at least try the game is always welcomed
So true. I wanna play so bad but there is literally no lgs near me and I wanna learn online before I commit to buying
Can confirm, this is the main thing stopping me since there aren't any locals for me to play Elestrals near to where I live

Link for the sim?
This is utterly amazing. Thank you so so much.
Please include a dark mode, and support for enlarged text? Very important for accessibility.
I know this a longshot, but is there a way to get the source code for the simulator ?

Fake gamer. He showered.
yooo that sim is looking pretty fire
I can finally watch an elestrals video
Incredible: they managed to make UW Control in Elestrals
As a Yugioh player, what is UW control? (Or did u mean VW (as in either Shenshen or VFD)?

this game looks so good, hopefully it will be a success in na so that it can come to South America
There is slow expansion around the world I'm sure if you talk to your lgs there is possibility to get product to you
Who else loves the skits at the start?

Ahh this is much more usable footage, huge work
My Chronodile decks are in the mail! Can't wait to try this list our myself! :)
I wanna get into Elestrals just to try this Deck, it looks so fun.
I’ve been tinkering around with Turbodile with the water nexus variant next on the list. As a water nexus fan I’ll definitely be trying out this list

Good Afternoon my WHATS
God a working sim is such a benefit

don’t have enough money/time to blow on playing elestrals IRL, so a simulator where i can spend some free time in to get familiar with the game
Good video 👍

UN COCODRILLOOOOOOOOO
What is the sim being used?
mbt do you have a frost list that you know/play? looking to start playing elestrals and would like to play frost. Is emperorwatt the way to go?
You'll want Morphrost
If mosstacean is suppressed after attacking via Dense Fog, does it still switch to defense?
may i ask why plucky over elechik? is it because you already want to be on 2 luminape for the chronodile? is it not justifiable for 4 zaptor to enable elechik?
Depends on the player go atk vs going defensive both work def is more safe
Plucky is easier to ascend into Chronodile since you can nexus from Poseidon and ascend it. Elechik doesn’t have that same luxury since it’s not water or solar
I think the other thing to note is that because plucky is a solar it can be more easily ascended into Chronodile.
Since we have this new sin, can we get more than one game in these 20 spirit testings
