That’s a pelican case and the turning knob in the front is to release air because they’re meant to be air and waterproof so sometimes you can’t open them if they form a vacuum. I used them for photography stuff for a while.
I really liked the look of ATO and as someone who first watched Jason and the Argonauts about 57 years ago (have seen it dozens of times by now and still love it), the theme was ideal for me. I had to look at all the campaign games that I have and have already pledged on, and decide if it was just going to get painted and then sit on the shelf? I accepted that this was a distinct possibility and so resisted. I still keep an eye on prices on the second hand market and wouldn't rule out getting it at some point. Enormity does have my interest, but my house is almost full of games, so I will need to cull soon? Especially as I have had 3 crowdfunded games arrive in the last few weeks, with more due to arrive before the end of the year!?
Ill prolly back this as im in love with ITUs games. But would like it if they soon went into a 1:1 ratio of delivered kickstarters and created kickstarters. Getting rest of the original aeon trespass from them monday. But still waiting on KF and sins of heraikles
yeah you can only scale so much. Was glad to get AT:O wave 2 on the same day, and I heard they waited until KF went to print before launching Enormity.
Michael, After you said that the Into the Unknown company made an entire mini campaign to show off their game without spoiling the story, you said: nobody else does that. Please open up your complete Harakiri Blades box. It contains the standalone campaign that they made to show off their game, way in advance, without spoiling the story. they did the same thing that into the unknown did. if you don’t have the full Harakiri game, then something has gone wrong, because the developers are sure they sent it to the address you specified. thanks, Toby
My apologies, spoke loosely. ITU did it first when no one had (to my knowledge) is what I meant. That being said, should have mentioned others have now as well, as it's a very cool thing to do!
I'm really curious about this game, but ATO looked very convoluted and bloated to me. I'm hoping this is more streamlined. I'm really hoping this gives me a Dead Space/Returnal vibe.
@@TheKingofAverage I've been waiting for this for years now, ever since GW release the new terminators. Alas, they seem to hate money (because SH would sell out instantly, even at $300+). TBH, I'm with Tabletop Minions in that SH should be an evergreen game for them. I think i's still THE boardgame people think of when talking GW boardgames, and it's always out of print. :(
I'm somewhat surprised that people are not talking more about how Enormity seems a lot like Nemesis from AR. Same "alien" names, Noise mechanic, etc... Most of all I'm somewhat disappointed with the creature designs, they don't fit the setting of an abandoned spacecraft. Very strange design decisions.
Enormity does look good, but we are STILL waiting for ATO stuff, Kingdom forlorn is still in development and I've seen not much stuff for Sins of Herakele's and they are launching ANOTHER big KS in December 2024. I was under the impression they was not going to release anything for crowdfunding until Kingdoms Forlorn was shipped. I really like ITU, but come on how man projects do they expect us (and they aren't cheap) to back and havent even released stuff we have been waiting so long for.
Funny enough AT:O wave 2 delivered the exact same day as the prototype to me :) I know this is supposed to be smaller but we'll have to see if the campaign becomes bloated or not.
@@OnlyTheAwesomeness It doesn't mean a lot when ATO still has not finished fulfilling, with more stuff coming later, Kingdom forlorn still has a lot of time to go, we haven't seen a lot of stuff with Herakele's. I am not saying ITU wont deliver but you cant help getting nervous when we've seen other companies do this and then fold.
The alien/enemy models look really interesting, but lord are the player minis boring! I don't know why this is often (but not always) a hang up for me, but the idea of playing a basic @$$ astronaut while we are against all these awesome monsters often hurts my interest. Too many of these games have the enemies looking so much more interesting than the player minis that we actually use every game. I want to BE a cool character, not just fight them! lol
Into the unknown is really annoying me. I backed kingdom forlorn a long time ago. They are making a new game. And it seems that they always want to promote aeon trespass odyssey
Of course, ATO is their bread and butter at the moment, It's beyond huge. And making another game makes sense with most of ATO wave sipping or shipped and KF files being sent to print they need another project to keep their people busy.

Oh, super cool!
wtf i was not expecting this so soon, can't wait. Love ATO currently on cycle 4
Nice! Did you back KF too?
The cover illustration with the astronaut and the roses on the side reminds me of Katsuhiro Otomo's animated short Magnetic Rose.
Just looked it up, awesome!

Storage and time are a board gamers two worst enemies :(
Their is a indie vid game called Ghost Song, this game is giving me vibes like that game.

Hah! Fixed :)

Indeed! I think this is supposed to be a bit more streamlined but I'll be sure to let you know!
As someone whose favorite game is AT:O, I can confirm it is convoluted 😂 which is part of why I like it!
I'm also hoping Enormity is more streamlined
Those hero minis look awfully small. Are they 28mm?
Hmmm, I'll have to do a comparison.
@@TheKingofAverage How did the comparison go?
Dead space meets Spacehulk?
Man a new space hulk would be killer! And expensive haha
@TheKingofAverage ❤️

the coin looks like First player marker
Oh perhaps!

Agreed, but for what it's worth, Enormity is the cheapest and smallest of the three. It won't be another 6-box Aeon Trespass ;)
