Another great unboxing! Since I stumbled across your channel back in 2020, I have been interested in Conan. I waited patiently and finally got my opportunity in the Red Nails campaign. I pretty much got everything Conan except the versus stuff because I rarely play 1v1. It all came in three huge boxes last week . . . The same week as CTG's Elder Scrolls, and Planet Unknown, lol. That's always the way. I can't wait to dive in! Your video has me excited to bust the game out and try it, as always! Keep up the good work!
I ordered absolutely everything from this last campaign, including everything you showed and the base game and the original crowdfunding exclusives. Currently painting the base game. We played the first scenario twice last weekend and got our asses kicked by the (house ruled AI version of the) Overlord. So excited to work through the whole set of content. Lots to paint! Love the genre. Thanks for covering!
Got my pledge! Conan is my favorite literary character and Red Nails is one of my favorite short stories. So glad a company that cares about the IP made the game. The fact that it’s a great game in my opinion just makes it extra special!
Mine comes today, I am excited. I’ve wanted to play this for so long but knew with the people I game with I wouldn’t be able to play this regularly but with the solo/co-op mode hopefully I’ll be able to get to it myself.
Have you perhaps played a bit more of the GCC since your initial video? I'd be curious to get your take comparing Conan and GCC in terms of what you like and prefer in one over the other.
How can you get these? For years I have tried to go to their website and it seems like they had nothing to for sale. I’ve had to buy most of what I got off the secondary market for ridiculous prices.. are they finally selling these on their website?
This was a crowdfunding campaign from Jan’24 that is now being delivered. Pledge manager was open for late pledges thru April of last year. Stock will likely go to their website after backer fulfillment ends so check regularly.
@ yes this seems to keep happening to me. I stumbled across their Conan products discover I’m too late for their crowd funding.. end up buying it piecemeal on the secondary market. Keep a close eye on their website for months to years until I finally give up and then they come out with something else. I miss it again..
I started reading Robert E Howard at 8 years old, which is 55 years ago! I love Conan and have enjoyed the books, films and comics. But I have some kind of block with the game?! I backed the previous campaign, with some extras, and have only played once! And I haven't even started painting any of it. So many games have come into my possession since Conan arrived, that have been painted and played and Conan has just sat on the shelf. I have backed Red Nails, with more extras and the King Pledge, so I am hoping that this motivates me to start painting?
Haha you sound a lot like me. This is something I posted about recently, where I lose track of something and the passion if it arrives at a bad time, right before or after another game for instance. It could just be that you enjoy the idea of owning a Conan game more than playing it. That's understandable if the IP clicks with you more than the game mechanics :)
Absolutely start painting it. There is a UA-cam video on speed painting the base set. This motivated me to start painting the first 106 or so minis. But painting them all will be an undertaking, but I'm loving it and of course the game is absolutely a blast.

It's honestly one of the highlights of my gaming journey. The game matches the IP so well, and I lived the continued and authentic support it's had.
Got mine also. Nice to see a boardgame kickstarter without a delay.
Yeah it's great to see!

I hope it comes soon!

I discovered this scheme after the kickstart was over. The secondary market is way too expensive.. how can you get your hands on these?
Did you get a shipping notification?
Not that I'm aware of at least
I had shipping notice today. UK backer.
Got mine last night, shows delivery by friday
