It's so great to hear (and see) that you're happy! I've always found you relatable and that we're in similar stages in life, and now also talking about friendship heartbreaks😢. I think I should take your advice on talking to my therapist about it bc I went through one recently as well, and it has been so, so hard. I feel nobody talks about that kind of heartbreak, so it has been a surprise to find difficult to process and go through. I guess what I'm saying is thanks for talking about it 😂

Lily....... just happened to see this video and reminded me I left a comment in your renovation video about making your own bench cushion, I forgot to mention to take care with whatever table you choose as I found tables with the usual 4 legs one on each corner isn't great for sliding in and out of the bench. I got a table that has the central base under and centre with supporting arches out to the corners. Not sure I've described that well...... our table looks like it has one sturdy leg in the centre......... you don't want corner legs blocking easy access. The only problem I found with this is they tend to be more modern style so I have nice table cloths.

I didn't see those mean comments, and didn't know that was happening until creators, like you, mentioned it. Now I try to leave positive comments, where before I felt weird writing a stranger on the internet a comment. Just a thought! I love your content and how real you are. Here for sharing positivity! Also, your post-baby looks were nice, and I don't remember them feeling "unfinished." Glad you're feeling more yourself and happy with your style. :)

Excellent to shout out the free BRCA gene mutation testing! I had a preventative double mastectomy 9 months ago (I'm 30, my gene mutation is PalB2) and it's felt like the black cloud that was the threat of cancer, has evaporated - I can now focus on my one year old without worrying cancer is going to kill me off early. Highly recommend testing - knowledge is power 🙌

I live in Essex and we have parakeets in the park. It's ridiculous. Having said that, my sister used to live in Amsterdam and she once sent me a picture of proper parrots, the big grey ones and those white ones with the yellow mohawk thing, sitting on her washing line.

Thank you. I was about to do one 6 months ago, even booked in. Then I realised I actually don’t like fashion “rules” that much and I wouldn’t want it to make me feel like I couldn’t wear certain colours even if I loved them. I think it’s kind of easy to tell when you try things on if the colour compliments you, but I don’t want to feel like I can and can’t wear things even if I just fancy it.

Thank you for talking about BRCA gene testing! And bringing awareness! It's really not something you hear much about and I only found out about it through seeing a nutritionist. My sister and I have both been tested and one of us has the gene and one of us doesn't, the health system here has been so supportive.

Really enjoyed this weeks Vlog Lily, thank you. With regards Adanola I think it’s hit and miss with some of their colour ways. I have the cocoa bean colour sweatshirt with small logo and it’s been the best one for wear and tear and washing.. but bought the burgundy and mauve sweatshirts and they either water stained which didn’t go when washed or the material became really rough after wash. But Adanola customer service is really good and they took back both sweatshirts and gave a refund.. so maybe it’s just a problem with of the colours. I love my chocolate sweatshirt though and wear it all the time.. xx

In the US we wash and tumble dry everything so even though the care tag says not to dry Adanola of course I did and absolutely ruined it. All the soft fluff inside came out and the sweatshirt was totally ruined. Lesson learned! 😢

I have the BRCA2 gene mutation and had a double mastectomy nearly 2 years ago now (age 31) - i actually documented it entirely on youtube and IG - I had an 88% chance of getting breast cancer as a result of it xx

Hi Lily, would you talk about your feelings as a Jewish woman in London these days?
BRCA test needs to be done from everyone who doesn't want to get cancer no matter in which stage of life they are in my opinion. If the result is positive, the chance to get cancer is 80%, too high to be waiting because you can get cancer even at a young age or fertile age. Better safe than sorry, so if you can test for free please do it!
