Those Chevy & GMC square body models were produced from 1973 through 1991 except the half ton & three quarter ton plain cabs were finished in 1987, & the one ton & up plain cabs were finished in 1989.
That thing is awesome….i always had a soft spot for those 3+3 crew cab squarebodies….nice find, big block too….hell yea brother!!!…….and the 4wd works too😊😊😊….. other than that back dually fender , shes pretty damn solid!!!…..factory tach too❤❤❤
Better than anything they sell today. Have an 84 c10 dual gas tank crate 350 my wife inherited. Grandfather's truck. I pulled it from country and got it back in good running shape
At least an '83, not an '86. 1983-84 grille and headlight bezels, dimmer switch on floor, wiper switch on dash, both of those moved to the column in 1984. Factory tach is a bonus, rare to find one after 1982, it was moved to the LPO (Limited Production Option) list.
Actually that's a 1983 year model because 1983 was the last year for the windshield wiper switch on the dash & the high beam low beam light switch on the floor, & also the first year for that grille design which makes that pickup there unique.
I had a ‘86 k20 suburban with a smogged out choked up small block 350, it too was 4wd with a th400….that thing was a turd, before that i had an ‘81 k10 suburban with a gm goodwrench replacement motor 350 and 4wd th350 setup and that thing was a beast…it would go anywhere anytime on any amount of oil…basically what im saying is i couldnt kill that truck for the life of me, it took a beating and judt kept coming for more…i remember working construction with that truck snd all the guys jaws would drop when id go swing doughnuts in thst thing on dry asphalt with 33’s…i took a minute to swing that ass around the first swing but after that the momentem just kept building up and that thing would just plant the front left tire and dance around it like nothin……someone stole that truck one night when i was out partying😢😢😢 since then i had a couple of ‘68/‘72 c10’s which the ‘72 got stolen…the ‘68 i LS swapped and sold for a profit, they were both longbeds so now harm, this was before cutting frames became trendy….couple years back (2018) i picked up a ‘73 c10.. this time a swb fleet😊😊😊…it had a half missing 250 straight 6 and granny 4 spd…within a week of getting it home i had it LS swapped with a 3000 stalled th350 and a couple months after that i put a vortech supercharger on it and put shiny paint on it…i drive it whenever i get a chance now and it sounds killer….i think i have a couple quick videos of it and my supercharged LSA nova on my channel if you wanna see them!!!
if the caliper itself is seized..wouldnt that mean chances are it was already seized when the truck was parked?.. careful if youre having overheating calipers..just dealt with that myself..😳😅💯
Down south that truck the way it sits with nothing done is worth $10k all day.. Big block , 4 speed , 4 wheel drive all orginal that is $10 grand all day every day..

Driver side door panel is pre-81, the hubs for the dana 60 also seem to be the older Spicer variety

It’s pieced together it’s titled as a 80 I’m shur it took many trucks to put it together
@@charliesmotorsports6301 did you say 1980 year model?

You should probably have a fire extinguisher handy when your doing this stuff.
I wonder if it's a 454 or if somebody actually swapped in a 427?
I believe it’s the 427
❤🎉
Why was it park
They’re Wasps not bees lol
Forsale?
it was leaking underneath as well. i saw liquids
Good eye I didn’t see that thanks for watching
Would have been better to clean those battery terminals, instead of the BS with the visegrips
Makes great sense when the good battery has different terminals
Runs like my 24 lmao
Back when real trucks were made in the 70's-80's from GM, Ford and Dodge👍🏿 and not like today's junk🤦🏿♂️
Hey Charlie, Would you be interested in selling the truck?
@@OdySlim no I don’t want to sell it
@@charliesmotorsports6301 Thanks anyhow
I have an 88 and a 89 for sale same thing
Aggressive wrenching 😂

It has drum brakes in the rear they just stick over time when they sit the shoe can rust to the drum
Down south that truck the way it sits with nothing done is worth $10k all day.. Big block , 4 speed , 4 wheel drive all orginal that is $10 grand all day every day..
Wow I figured it was a little rusty for that much
If there is Rae gas in the oil the fuel pump is shot. 🇺🇲👍
May not want to run it until the oil is changed if there is raw gas in the oil gonna get them main bearings.
Really? Don't clean the points or anything just dump fuel and boom
Got HEI
Spark plugs
Why would you want it to pull gas when you have no idea what kind of shit gas coming out of the tank
plz tell me that truck is 4 sale cause i dam sure want it
No it’s not forsale
Your not to bright hay I will play with camera instead of shut the truck off
"Hey" "You're" not "too" bright. Is English your second language,?
