So cool seeing these knitting techniques adapted to crochet tools/motions. I love your scarf pattern, too.

So clever to knit with crochet hooks! And you did it properly, in the sense that with crochet you are wrapping clockwise so the stitches will be mounted with the leading leg in back, and you inserted your crochet hook through the back so that the stitches were not crossed. Since I both crochet and knit, I would probably just use dpn’s, but I honestly never thought of putting i-cord edging on a crochet project. Fabulous idea!

Wow, that is amazing. Thank you so much.
I think (in my opinion) knitting I-cord edging is a lot easier than crocheting I-cord edging.
It does make a beautiful finish.

Thank you for the video, really good instructions, I think I'm just going to use similar sized Dpns instead but a good trick with the two crochet hooks for sure!

I just wanted to say that I think instead of sliding the stitches down the hook, you can slide the stitches onto a cable needle! It somewhat feels like using the same technique as making cables in knitting! Thank you for this helpful video!

You’re welcome! Thank you so much! Yes, you can absolutely use needles! Since I’m a crocheter, a crochet hook is a more appropriate and comfortable tool to hold. Knitters would likely find needles more appropriate, as this is primarily a knitting technique, anyway. Have a super day! 😘

Hi! Thanks for your videos, very useful! Can you, please, do also a video to explain exactly WHICH KIND OF STITCH YOU USED TO KNIT/CROCHET THE SCARF? Or, if you can't, can you just tell me THE COMMON NAME of this stitch, so I can try to find instructions by myself? (I've never seen this stitch before, I'm starting only now with crochet, and this stitch seems like a knitted stitch, is very beautiful, I would like to learn, if it is possible). Thank you very much, from Liz, Italy :-)

Hi, I purchased this pattern and am completely lost on starting on row 2. I'm not sure I understand what you mean when you say crochet into the ch space. Any chance you could do a video on the first couple rows? I've done this about 5 times and it's a jumbled mess. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks,
