Thanks for sharing! I was excited when I found a great deal on an older cart and then when I got it home I noticed that the single tree was really high. I looked at the newer carts and realized that they were not designed that way. Thanks for making this video. Very helpful!
Hi, im in the process of building me a forecart realy like your video! Can you Tell me How long is the piece you Weld from the hitch recever to the tube you Bolt on the bottom of your cart? Thank you
Good afternoon Dave 😊 lve never seen a Pioneer Forecart before but it looks very smart. What was it used for! Looks like its made for a lady to go shopping,lm probably wrong but l really like it anyway and it's a good colour. How much would one likely to cost, you don't have to give an answer to that question.Anyway it's been very wet AGAIN but also extremely windy for the last couple of days but is starting to calm down now.l was thinking of starting some seeds of but l think it's still far to early, other people have started but come unstuck so end up sowing most of the seeds again.l will give it another four weeks then I'll get stuck in.Hope you are keeping well Dave, all the very best and thankyou for sharing this video 🌱🌱🌱💕🇬🇧UK
Hello Joyce! It’s been extremely windy here the last few days as well, gusting up to 60mph in some places knocking down trees. We had a very fast moving rain night before last that dropped 2” in some places. Its dry now but still gusty but getting up to high 60s in next few days. The forecart is used as a training cart and can also be used to hook trailers, wagons or implements up to. It’s the drivers station “fore”ward of what your hooked to. I think most non-Amish use them for exercise and training which is my plan. Very popular and needed tool for driving horses. They are unbelievably expensive at about $4500 new equipped like this one (draft size, brakes, fenders, larger tires). In the used market they are around $1500-$2000. He wanted $1900 for this one but I bought for $750. I’ve got a very solid cart that needed a little TLC and will serve me well for many years! Looking forward to seeing your garden when you get everything planted. I agree with waiting a few more weeks. Waste of time and money to redo. Have a beautiful weekend!
Thankyou Dave for your reply and answers.l find it fascinating that at a click or a tap and you can be talking to someone across the pond with in seconds. The Internet is great when used correctly lm sure you agree.Have a wonderful week ahead Dave, Joyce
@@joycehennequin8469 Thank you Joyce. I agree totally and I enjoy kind hearted people like you and always look forward to your weekly comments. Your the highlight of my UA-cam week! I have regular folks that comment but they are just one sentence to the point kind comments. I don’t do well with jerks in any environment and there are more than the fair share on this platform. People say ugly things and hide behind their keyboards, I just ignore and don’t let them get to me. Life is too short.
I don’t have a link but it’s at Ackermans in Ohio. You can just google them to get the number. I can get you the number if needed. The girl you need to talk to is Esther. Hope that helps and thank you for watching!

Totally agree and thankyou.
Watch out putting that draw bar on the back it will take the weight off or your tongue and cause it to raise up and possibly knock out teeth.
Is there any way you could send me a link to the conversion bracket
