This isn't ' Old time Farming Equipment ' , all of these are brand new and some of these are brand new conceptual designs that didn't exist even 100 years ago . While the Earlier U.S., went ' Mechanical ' in the farming capacities the Europeans maintained their Draft Animal Power Capacities . So in the area of Draft Animal Power the Europeans are way ahead of the U.S., in this regard . Currently in the U.S., the President of the U.S., has said , " Drilling is done , no more drilling in the U.S., I mean it , It's done . " - President Joe Biden . So if in the U.S., there's going to be a " No more fuel Capacity " then Diesel Fuel and Gasoline will become a commodity primarily used by the Military or mass transit . Governor Gavin Newsome has signed an Executive Order in California banning the sale of all combustion engines by the year 2035 . Once again the President of the U.S., has said , " My goal as President is to follow the example set by the State of California . " - President Joe Biden . So the question becomes , ' If there's no fuel allowed , How then do you grow your foods ? ' Everything you buy has been delivered to the point of sale by a Commercial Truck of some sort , even if it was shipped by Trains , a truck got it to the Train and another Truck takes it from the Train Yard to the ' Store ' where you bought it . Have you ever ordered anything online ? It goes from the Manufacturer to a Shipper who will then either Fly it or Drive it to a delivery point , even if it is flown a truck still had to get it to the airport and then again from the airport to a ' Hub ' or final destination point . If the U.S., is going to rid itself of fuels then alternative measures must be available , Draft Animal Power has always been the ' Green Energy Choice ' in Agriculture . There's an Island on Lake Michigan called Mackinac Island and when the first combustion Engines became available the Community of Mackinac Island voted to ' Ban the Sales ' of them there . Mackinac Island imports everything they have including food and Horses . The Horses used at Mackinac Island are brought in every Spring and Shipped out to Michigan every Autumn . They can't house the animals over Winter on the Island . So if Mackinac Island or the Amish / Mennonites are to be the model forward for the U.S., then the U.S., will have to adapt to the models used by those folks and that means Draft Animal Power , specifically Horses . So in the Grand Scheme of Things , Not ' Old Timey ' they are and should have always been " The Future " .
