That's exactly what I am thinking about using on the cart I am starting to build. I am sure you can because I have seen many carts with bicycle sized tires on them. I think I will use 2 front wheels of off-road motorbikes. The cart can also weigh a lot less than 500 pounds. Race carts weigh much less. It just depends on what you want to do with it.
