- What we got up to in this video...
Jess and I spent a few days in the big city Kuala Lumpur and we loved every second. We spent our first day wondering around the city finding some free things to do and enjoy rather than spending our pennies.
We hoped you enjoyed this video and if you did then please show us some support by subscribing to our channel and being part of the on the move community!

Welcome to KL ....
Thank you 😊
Kuala lumpur very beautiful city in southest Asia...i from indonesia
Just to let you ladies know that all the city buses and trains (under RapidKL) are free for a month. So you could effectively travel on them anywhere along the Klang Valley (Greater Kuala Lumpur). So you can get to places like Petaling Jaya, Puchong, Subang Jaya, Klang and Shah Alam amongst others places. While you are in KL though, you could visit Chinatown, Little India, and many more locations. Outside of KL, you could see more nature in Kuala Kubu Baru, Sekinchan, and the Templer Park (all part of Greater KL area). All these places are free to visit, of course.
Still have to reload card if the amount is not sufficient in order to tap the card to get to the platform
@@elbowstancenow1519 u can get the coins btw..much easier
NO WAY! This is incredible I haven’t been in a city yet which gives free rides on public transport that’s so kind! Unfortunately we have left now so can’t take advantage of this but thanks for commenting as other people may see this ☺️ so we did Chinatown and little India we ate some scrumptious food 😋 amazing suggestions I didn’t know you could go to these places outside of KL. Thanks for the support 😃

Nice plan .. what plan next
The Saloma Link is named after the Malaysian singer and actress Saloma. She was popular in the 1950s and was the wife of the popular actor, singer and entertainer P. Ramlee. Both are buried in the Jalan Ampang Muslim Cemetery, which is now overlooked by tht bridge.
That’s great to know and I seen the cemetery! Thanks for the information I will be sure to listen to one of her songs ☺️
Nice
Awesome video 👍👍👍💖
Thank you so much 😊
@@Onthemovetravelstories you’re welcome 🙏💖
At the other side of Saloma Link bridge is Kampung Baru, the last traditional village within the city centre where there's lots of restaurants for authentic Malay cuisine at much reasonable prices. Also all public transport in KL are free for a month, until 16 July.
Thank you so much for the suggestions we did not know this at all but so glad to have learnt there is more free things to do in KL! The last traditional village would have been amazing to visit but unfortunately we have left the city now, it’s on our list if we return! Thank you 😊

When dine in, be it in a coffee shop, or a restaurant, or street food hawker, if the operators do not display the F&B pricelist on the wall or in a menu, always request for the total amount need to pay later on. Always be cautious against throat cutters.
Blood suckers ripp off. Sign board bulan dan bintang tanda 786 tp potong leher pelancong. Munafik
We always see prices just maybe sometimes we go for things that are slightly over but I think that’s just because we aren’t locals but thank you so much for the tip and making sure we are getting the right information. Really kind of you 😀
Welcome to Malaysia... enjoy guys
Thank you so much 😊

Batu caves is free too. But i saw several vlogs recently. It is not so clean.
Thank you for the suggestion we actually have just been there and we would agree it’s not so clean but still amazing to see😀
@@Onthemovetravelstories it is a committee which runs it. Not gov property as it is private. Unfortunately, i do not know what happened with them. I hv visited the caves several times in the past, it was clean both inside and outside. It is an actual temple and not actually suitable for tourist to visit. People feed the nasty monkeys, or discard flowers or offerings, and eat snacks themselves. I assume because it is free, they could not afford maintenance unlike the other smaller cave nearby where entrance fee is required.
you should include the river of life along the heritage walk at masjid jamek (come at night)
We did this it was lit up blue and there was fog everywhere it was incredible 😍
8:55 on the right side it looks like a family of 4 👻👻👻👻 have popped up from the fountains 😅😅

Hi , can i ask you ? Malaysia is a MUSLIM MAJORITY COUNTRY ☪️ ...right ?? Or Not ?
Malays are dominanted right ?
Yes it's Malay dominated & it a Muslim country
pls dunnot eat durian with wine or soft drink
Thanks for the tip! May I ask why ?
It's a chemical reaction between them and there's a case of tourist who died after drinking coke..
the autopsy found out that the victim had a durian and then drink coke..
it's a big no no to have liquor/soft drinks after eating durian
dont forget the poverty sector.
wtf... They are tourist, what can they do about poverty of any plces they visit
Say normal word K.L not Key Yell
Sorry must be our accents
Welcome to KL city ....
