April conclusion:
Avdiivka/Ocheretyne Sector: Russians breakthought and Captured several settlements and advanced significantly. They also entered in Natailove and Umanske
West Donetsk Sector: Russians entered in the city of Krasnohorivka and captured most of the southern part of it and advances near Marinka and heorhiivka( Fight still ongoing)
Bakhmut-Chasiv Yar direction: Russians entered in the City of Chasiv Yar and captured Bohdanivka and Advanced more in the Ivanivske area, Ukrainians recaptured a trainline
Kremmina direction: Ukrainians recaptured some position(Fight Still ongoing)
Robotyne sector: Most of Robotino was recaptured by the russians and the Russians advanced more(Fight still ongoing)
Novomykhailivka front: Russians captured Novomykhailivka and advanced more
Kupiansk Raion front: Russians advanced in Kyslivka and take half of the village (Fight still ongoing)

In my view, videos like this one that are illustrating the front development over time in the Russo-Ukrainian conflict are much more infomative than the daliy updates we get from many other channels on this conflict. By all means if you can afford the time keep up the good work.

havent seen your vids for a long time and i see u have monthly summaryy vids, great job doing it. but gain is gain little by little, hopefully may will be hard time for the orcs, with more usa weapons and ammo pouring in
Donetsk oblast has 26.000 km squares. If Ukraine controls a third of that oblast, just to conquer it all at this pace Russia would need 60 months or 5 years. Just for Donetsk. If Russian losses are 1.000 man a day, as Ukraine usually claim, that would mean 2 million man just for Donetsk. Even if its half what Ukraine claim it would still mean 1 million men.

Keep in mind that this is the front. If they have a breakthrough then advances will be much quicker until the ukrainian forces regroup further back in their territory. Also keep in mind that Russia at this point is pretty much playing a numbers game since Ukraine will run out of men before Russia will.

In this video russia is shown to have taken 133 km2. Ukraine took 6km2 in terny too, although not shown. 127km2 total. Why 120?
@@AnDoneCom because I'm not using this video as a source, and I counted the difference from 2 April to 30 April, because there was no update from my source on 1 April, and the last time I updated my info was on 30 April.

How does this compare to the big Ukrainian counteroffensive last year? This has occured over a shorter timeframe so I'm curious

In just one month, the entire Ocheretyne sector collapsed, leading to the capture of Berdychi, with this prospect, I'm not sure the Eastern Front could realistically hold without MAJOR military aid
That's a localised breakthrough, that seems to be contained by now. If all the territory Russia COULD have swarmed through, they only advance in a relatively small direction. Russia is now sending their elite troops to try and keep moving forward, as they're starting to stall at heavy losses.

This map is full of mistakes. Just compare the March Progress Summary and the April Progress Summary. So, why did you show that Pobeda was occupied in April when it was fully occupied already in March? Why was Ivanivske occupied in April according to this video, when the Russians have been fully occupying it since March? The same goes for Klishchiivka, which according to the video was occupied in April, and the same advance in the area of Klishchiivka was already shown in the previous March video. There are still many mistakes around Novomikhailivka and Avdiivka.

With that space, the Russian can occupy the remaining 450.000 km2 which left form Ukraine in 4500 month.
The pace is not going to stay constant lol Once the front collapses, the Ukrainians will be forced to retreat and the Russians won't take only 133 km2 per month. They will take thousands of kilometers per month.
@@martink7609 well, if we look at what Russia controlled from the start to now, then Russia occupied 25% in the first month, now down to 18%. Russia currently controls 400 km² LESS than a year ago, just before the Ukrainian counteroffensive. So despite all those Russian losses, they've only gone backwards.

It was meant to keep Ukrainians busy there while they fortified their positions in the east and the south. They retreated from those areas for strategic purposes. But I understand. Putin stated his goal until 2025 is to occupy all of Donbas, and until 2026 to take everything east of the Dniepr. With the Kharkiv area under Russian control, they could flank Slovianks and Kramatorsk from the north, putting heavy pressure on the most important cities, diverting most Ukrainian resources away from other fronts like Bakhmut and Chasiv Yar, where Russia would've been able to advance with less resistance. In other words, Russia could've taken all of Donbas by now if they didn't lose in Kharkiv. And had they advanced to Odessa in the south, they would've cut off the vast majority of Ukrainian income and make it much harder for them to fight on.
But sure, I'm the one "coping" for understanding Russia got wrecked.
