Good to drive in the city or city to city highways, cause the engine is not that punchy with all 6 passenger's inside, I wished that maruti gave a more punchy engine, but Fuel efficiency they think is all about.

Carens is way ahead in terms of design language. It is far premium than XL6. Mileage is the only reason one would go with XL6. Bro turbo petrol is not bad on mileage. Its gives more power for same engine capacity as intake air is compressed before sending it to engine.

It's not a sport car, it's adequate and given petrol prices already at 105 and 110, we should give preference to milage and then Performance or both together which is not the case now a days.
Maruti updated automatic x16 to 6 gear one. Still not the latest technology - which is DCT. Engine is dual jet . millage is much better than disel engin of kia carens its giving millage of 20.8 Turbo petrol is so much advanced. Look at the competitor - base version, which is under 10L, has 6 gear manual transmission, 6 airbags, all disc brake. Higher variants of competitor has sun roof, 7 seat option, turbo petrol or diesel engine option and all. Just because its Maruti, will be a good selling model.

I am a Turbo Prestige variant owner, of Kia Carens. Some misses in XL6, when compared with Carens- 1. No Turbo (mileage is not as bad as reviewer is claiming, Carens Turbo) 2. No driving modes in AT vehicle - Shocking! 3. Missing 6th gear in MT 4. Smaller infotainment screen 5. No protection for 2nd row passengers (only 4 air bags)
Things missing in Prestige Variant. 1. Alloy wheels 2. LED light set up, front and rear 3. You can Never buy Automatic model off Prestige. 4. No Auto AC. 5. No Automatic AC start, its there in Zeta as well. 6. No telescopic steering 7. Milage 8. Paddle Shifters, never be there in Prestige 9. Milage is really poor in Carens petrol turbo. I opted for Luxury but canceled. 10. The metal sheets are reallying heavy this time. Check yourself, carens sheet Gauge is very light. 11. You can get the front and rear sensors installed at 10k cost buy you will never be able to make you Prestige Turbo. Let me know if you need some more points. 12. Bottle AC wants, only on Luxury Carens. Cost is better. Messed up engine line up by Kia. Pathetic. Hope you would not have liked my comment. Both have pros and cons let's not defame a brand.

What the point making customer go for after market and may end up voiding the warranty. Did you get the lights as a available in Luxury model or just chnaged the bulb.

Turbo petrol in city is pathetic, the average is as low as 7 in delhi. I have checked with other owners as well.
Depends on traffic. Even diesel can drop to 9 or 10. For 6 people xl6 is under powered.
