All lawful land animals should be slaughtered in compliance with the rules laid down in the Codex Recommended Code of Hygienic Practice for Fresh Meat[28] and the following requirements:
3.2.1 The person should be a Muslim who is mentally sound and knowledgeable of the Islamic slaughtering procedures.
3.2.2 The animal to be slaughtered should be lawful according to Islamic law.
3.2.3 The animal to be slaughtered should be alive or deemed to be alive at the time of slaughtering.
3.2.4 The phrase “Bismillah” (In the Name of Allah) should be invoked immediately before the slaughter of each animal.
3.2.5 The slaughtering device should be sharp and should not be lifted off the animal during the slaughter act

One of the organisations who provide Halal certification is “Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind” …so gather information about it to know more how “simple” is this matter. There is not only one way to establish themselves for a particular community, it’s beyond the “secularists” can even think of or may be they are well aware but pretending like its “normal” is the only way they choose coz of the self-centered mind set.

The halal economy tries to impose a wholly Islamic system in the production-to-consumer chain, but it is not easy to compete with the existing giants in the industry. So they have been given some special ‘concessions’. They are ‘allowed’ to pay a hefty fee to obtain a (renewable) halal certification. This fee is used to strengthen the Islamic finance system. Earlier, non Muslim subjects under Islamic rule were forced to pay a ‘protective’ Jizya tax (to be exempt from conversion). Similarly companies today are being ‘asked’ to pay up large sums of money as ‘halal certification fees’ if they want their products to be certified for use by Muslims.
