This was the best and worst challenge ever! I found the final results genuinely hilarious and the fact it was completely unplanned makes it better.

Did you see this piece taking THAT twist? - Honestly it was NOT what I had planned, but I'm so happy with the results. Fun OVER quality right?

Hello, i want inform you about the Alpha markers i am using (you can get them on eBay you just have to tipe in Alpha Design Marker ). They say they are a cheaper alternative to the copics. In a video you said you would try every marker in the world, so maybe you will compare both.
I absolutely loved it!! I wish to see you do this challenge without the color variants though, all grey would look epic.
I really love the fact you wanted to do Wanda so bad but couldn't find her in any of your coloring books that you ended up integrating her into the piece you chose to color XD
It’s amazing how much colour shows through in a completely grey piece, because of all the varying tones. It looks amazing and I love your interpretation of this page!
This is fantastic! As for the blue grays, my family runs a painting company, so I am familiar with the gray paint options from most of the big North American paint suppliers, and in my experience, blue grays are the worst when it comes to being more color than gray. A lot of warm grays or green grays can be close to neutral, but blue grays are always more blue.
I’m a hairdresser and blue is the bane of my existence.. cool ash? Nope, it’s blue. Platinum cool violet? Blue. Onyx silver? You guessed it, blue 😂 never let a client see you put a dash of orange in their toner 🤫
I love this thread, just goes to show that color theory is everywhere around us and not just painters struggle with it.
Wow. I'm awestruck! Great job ADC 👏 this is so cool. I love how you added Wanda to it and the humor of her doing Hulk's hair. It's really interesting to see the different variants in the Greys next to each other.
It was interesting how much greener the green grays looked when you put the other grays next to them. Loved the sillyness of this piece. Great job!
I love the originality that comes with each different colour video, this turned out amazingly! It's also pretty cool how different the different tones of grey look next to each other, that's a green looking hulk

I listen to music during creative processes, like programming and or painting/drawing. But even when studying in school, it helps me retain information too! And you are right it is a great distraction of the mind to keep you focused lol. Great use of the 'gray'!! I did not see that coming! Really great job on the piece!
I really like the blue for her face, it gives her a real underlit look similar to OSL, and separates her from the the relaxed feel of the piece. At the risk of over analysing it, i think that gives her that 2 aspect vibe that is at the centre of the scarlet witch . Crazy powerful magic user/Ordinary person with strong caring drive.

I have been waiting for this video since you started the color series. Yes the blue gray on the face is a bit off, but not in a horrendously overpowering way. Blue grays often unfortunately are more color than gray which can pop a bit when trying to go with straight gray. Your creative with this piece though was fantastic. The addition of Wanda in this humorous way magnificent. Keep up the great work.
the blue on Wanda's face was a little too blue in my mind, had you implimented the blue greys in with her magic, it might have been less noticeable. It was still a pretty amazing piece especially considering the starting point, and still so much better that any I can do.
I totally understand the "whack on some metal and it will help you work" mentality - it works so well for just enough of a distraction to your brain and its doubting etc. It works with anything, laundry and housework, art, writing, showering, cooking dinner or doing the dishes - whenever I do anything that doesn't require too much concentration, I either chuck on a playlist on Spotify, put on an audio book or listen to a podcast.
I genuinely don't do much without it as it helps so much.
Now you have me curious to see what's on that playlist though.....it sounds like it would be right up my street!

Shadows are lack of light, hence shades of greys. Warm grey with my warm tones and cool grey with cool tones! 😍 Loving the final artwork 💪

Blue greys are the worst, colour-wise. They never come close to neutral. That holds true no matter the medium I've tried.
They're gorgeous and super useful, but completely impossible if you're trying to do something in neutral tones.
One thing they do extremely well though, is adding that little bit of colour in an otherwise neutral grey image. "Normal" colours have a tendency to look way too bright under that circumstance

Thanks so much for doing this one. It helped me figure out something major I’ve been wanting to do with own color palette for desaturated pieces.
At the beginning when you were describing the different shades of grays (I’m gonna desperately try not to make a joke…)

I really like the piece and your entire composition! I actually really like Wanda with the blue-grey skin tone. I feel it adds just enough brightness and style, especially considering the “magic” she is performing on Hulk’s Hair! I often watch your videos and wonder how to acquire some of your pieces, whether you are selling them somewhere or giving them away to some lucky recipients. All that to say, I’d love to get my hands on a few of either your Marvel or Star Wars Pieces!

Grey is a tint of black, so I think using a black fine liner is perfectly acceptable 😊 Edit: this artwork is so GREY-t 😂😂😂 I ❤ it
The blue may make her look sinister, but it also makes her look very pale/ivory skin tone to, like it is commonly with red-haired people.

My fav is Scarlet Witch! Fantastic and creative. The blue tone matches her eyes' intensity.
Thank you once again for another challenge! I still enjoy your process. I think if you wanted something more fitting for her face, maybe the warm grays would have worked. But then again, a picture between the Queen of Chaos magic and the Hulk seems kind of poetic. Can't wait for the next video!

Suggestion for Coloring using All your markers.
I remember the Galactus one, from your Cheap vs. Expensive Series; choose an image from a coloring book, try and transfer it to a larger area. Doesn't have to be canvas, maybe a Bristol board. Then color it using ALL of your markers. (Which is BTW, ridiculously a lot dude!) Congratulations and more power.🍺

I'd go bonkers, had I to sort all my markers back in time and time again. I'm chaotic, but I can be meticulous with things and yes my markers are one of those things ^^'.
I love my grey markers and they're the firdt thing I suggest people to get for architecture design sketching. Those muted green and blue grey are perfect to create backgrounds that don't take away from the actual "centerpiece" and warm, cold and neutral greys are awesome fpr indicating different materials without defining them to clearly :3
Also, definitely put on music when creating ;) I love rock, metal and punk and their pumping driving energy - but when creating or trying to, I'm more one for scores. Berlinist's Gris, Gareth Coker's Ori scores and Austin Wintory's worksare awesome for drifting into the flow :)!

The blue face did take away from the light, humourous play on hair style, but you worked it into an incredible take on her. My opinion does not really count because you were happy with it, but I think you did not disappoint, I love this piece. Cannot wait for your next video.

I can only see shades of grey, so this is a piece of artwork that I can see similar as other people who can see colour (other than the green-greys and other coloured greys).
I never usually get to see the artwork with the colours it was coloured in with lol

I have the Spider-Man Doodles book, I love the prompts! they have villain mashups, design your Spidey and just a bunch of cool things to keep them brain fluids going
Great intro! It sparked in me a question... Have you thought about doing a video in black and white and coloring something or painting something where we as the audience cannot identify anything but the very in grades and at the end surprises with a spectacular color creation? Another idea I thought of could be again doing something with how we see it versus how you see it where you see it normally and we see it in one spectrum or another for example a way to experience certain types of color blindness or as you were mentioning how the blue might have looked more blue because it was next to the green and seeing ways that perhaps we could use that to our advantage when coloring something or ways to have it towards our disadvantage. Then the third idea came to mind at the point that you painted the face blue and you said you regretted that would there been a way to have corrected the color or fixed the color if you had all of the colors available to you? Or even within the the gray spectrum could you have tweaked it if you chose to do so? Just curiosity ideas. Not sure if you would find any value in any of them if you do have fun. As always thank you for sharing your talent with us looking forward to your next video and of course the eventual coup de gras of using all of the colors in one video . Blessings.

Not hard or easy just personal preference of liking I don't remember if you said that in one of the videos and I have forgotten if I have just tell me to rewatch The videos. I'm seeing suggestions for Orange, and Brown, and Black, and the other choice was Pink which you should do soon... but how about an all-White piece???! I mean, all the markers that are so light-colored that they can be seen as a type of white??? Bluish-White, Yellowish-White... I imagine the same for an all-Black piece.
