    I'm literally about to buy a leg press and I was looking for something that could do hack squats too. I'm currently doing Super Squats/widowmakers 3X per week so wish me luck. God bless, Alec.

    I was trying to figure out how to add some padding under my feet in the hack squat that would be secure. I like this wood block piece you have assembled and then the padding just rests on that by the looks of it. Good stuff! Thank you! Can you breakdown that wood piece for me? i want to build out something similar. Thanks!

    Btw Eriki, use a foam roller on the shoulder pads if you need more ROM as well. I find this to be a more comfortable solution and quicker than adding inches to the platform.

    You actually do pretty good reviews. I hope you can make some decent money doing it so you won't have to start selling supplements, or some other bs nobody wants to see.
    Im wondering what it would take to get some of your programs on boost camp. I know you have a site, but if you had programs on boost camp too, it would probably get you some more exposure.

    • @EnkiriElite
      @EnkiriElite  7 місяців тому +2

      Thanks brother. I appreciate the general support from you as well as taking the time to watch and comment on something like this that is probably not very applicable to you!
      These reviews are quite a bit of work, between assembly, testing, and actually making the video. So I do hope they are providing some solid value for the people who are actually in the market for these products.
      I haven't heard of boost camp and I'm not sure hoe you get your stuff on there. My website gets decent traffic, but I obviously am always looking for ways to expand the market share of my programs!

    I bought this leg press/hack squat machine last November….it’s definitely a solid machine….just used it today!! One thing I would love to know is….how much does the weight sled weigh alone?? ….i forgot to weigh it before assembly. Any info would be greatly appreciated….thanks.

    • @EnkiriElite
      @EnkiriElite  7 місяців тому +1

      I didn't think to weigh the sled either. It definitely has a little bit of weight to it because I did some unloaded unilateral hack squats and could certainly feel it. But in general, i don't worry too much about the absolute loading on movements like this. Less important is the actual weight you are using at any given moment, and more important is the relative change over time!

    Thanks for the review, would this be good for calf raises as well? Have you tried them in the leg press or hack squat setting?

    • @EnkiriElite
      @EnkiriElite  7 місяців тому +1

      Just tried it and you can do it either way! Feels very natural with the hack Squat setup, but with the leg press setup you can do them bent knee style as well. Hope this helps!

  • @mariolp2999

    Looks very tempting for 800 bucks when you have a 2 in 1 machine. although kind of limited, but for the price... oh man....
    One more thing, how does the hack squat feel.. is it smooth, will the bearings last...? thanks..

    • @EnkiriElite
      @EnkiriElite  7 місяців тому

      Yeah, just depends on your training priorities, available space, and disposable income you have! Overall it's a good machine for what does. The hack squat feels very smooth, but I 've only had it for a couple months so I can't say how long it will last. Applying WD-40 regularly will probably be helpful in that regard though.

  • @alphaomega7758
    @alphaomega7758 7 місяців тому

    Thanks for the review! Do you have a belt squat machine? And if so, do you think it's a better option than a leg press/ hack squat?

    • @EnkiriElite
      @EnkiriElite  7 місяців тому +1

      I don't have one, but I'd definitely accept the opportunity to get my hands on one if someone offers it! In general, yes, I think the belt squat has more value because it retains the pattern of actually squatting, and I am a proponent of that sort of thing being superior to the more rigid machine based movements.

    Will this machine work for me? I’m 6’4

    • @EnkiriElite
      @EnkiriElite  4 місяці тому +1

      I think being taller will mean the machine should be better suited for you. I can't say that with 100% certainty, but that's my guess. The biggest issue for me is bottoming out before I hit my desired range of motion, but with longer limbs that should be less of an issue.

    would you consider receiving coaching from doctor mike? he will most likely have you do smart science based illiac fiber isolated cable one arm pulldowns...or are you perhaps not science based ? :(

    • @EnkiriElite
      @EnkiriElite  7 місяців тому +2

      I'm assuming this is a joke lol but no, I wouldn't pay my money to receive his coaching. If his coaching is congruent with the advice he gives out on UA-cam then it would take me in the opposite direction of my goals, and that would be a silly way for me to spend my hard earned cash.

      @@EnkiriElitenah I am just trolling a bit man lol, even for hypertrophy buugz says in his video Jeff nippard and mike isreatel both give weird advise that goes against the basics ( like Jeff stating deadlifts aren’t a good back builder and the whole front squat fiasco for mike lol ) I think this is just the natural result of the “ science based “ authority dogma that has been the rage for a while now and gotten out of hand lately
