Yes, you would need additional yarn, and you would keep working the repeats to make it larger across. If you want it longer as well, you will simply need to increase the number of cast-on stitches by increments of 4 sts.
I am not good with colors. Could you please put the five colors for me, does not matter what you choose because it will eventually find a home. I've watched you for years and finally able to order your yarn. I am in Canada. Would love your feedback, thank you
The easiest thing to do would be to pick one of the 4-skein Luster Sport kits and then add a single: www.expressionfiberarts.com/categories/sport/luster-sport.html So try the Gnome kit with Foreshadow (a gray): www.expressionfiberarts.com/products/gnome-hues-luster-sport-kit.htmland www.expressionfiberarts.com/products/foreshadow-luster-sport.html Or Sugarablush kit: www.expressionfiberarts.com/products/pre-order-sugarblush-hues-luster-sport-kit.html with Cloud: www.expressionfiberarts.com/products/cloud-luster-sport.html Or Sonder: www.expressionfiberarts.com/products/pre-order-sonder-hues-luster-sport-kit.html with Bella: www.expressionfiberarts.com/products/bella-luster-sport.html Any of these would make a lovely 5-skein gradient. Hope that helps!
Here are the dimensions for the pattern as written: 26.5” (67 cm) upper curved neck edge x 82” (208 cm) lower curved edge x 21” (53 cm) at center and then you can make the I-cord tie as long or short as you'd like. To adjust the size and make it larger, keep working the repeats to make it larger across. If you want it longer as well, you will simply need to increase the number of cast-on stitches in increments of 4 sts.
@@ExpressionFiberArts okay, thanks. From estimating how it fits Chandi, a small size, what size, M, L, or XL, do you think you'd need to start adding sts....like after someone who usually wears a medium, or larger? Making this for someone else, trying to estimate how much yarn to order.

This is a knitted patter, but we are considering designing a crochet version.
Love this. One question; how can I make this smaller at the neck? When I make less wedges the complete circumference became smaller, I am not looking to do that.
Without completely rewriting the pattern, adjusting the circumference at the neck is going to affect the circumference at the bottom. The easiest way to make this smaller at the neck without losing a lot of the bottom circumference is to knit fewer of the Speckles rows between each of the wedges.

Where can I find the knitting needles you are using?
I really like my ChiaGoo interchangeable needle sets. You can find them at most retailers that sell yarn and knitting supplies, as well as on Amazon.
I've got a question about the pattern and the Size needles ..
You can find the needle size in the pattern, which is currently free to download at www.expressionfiberarts.com/products/lampy.html
If I use size 6 needles will it make a difference
If you were to make it longer would you just increase it by 4 stich increments?
Also...when you cast on more to make it longer, will that also make your wedges wider?
Yes, you would need additional yarn, and you would keep working the repeats to make it larger across. If you want it longer as well, you will simply need to increase the number of cast-on stitches by increments of 4 sts.
Not my type, but I absolutely love the color way.🇨🇦🍁🐘🤗

The easiest thing to do would be to pick one of the 4-skein Luster Sport kits and then add a single: www.expressionfiberarts.com/categories/sport/luster-sport.html
So try the Gnome kit with Foreshadow (a gray): www.expressionfiberarts.com/products/gnome-hues-luster-sport-kit.htmland www.expressionfiberarts.com/products/foreshadow-luster-sport.html
Or Sugarablush kit: www.expressionfiberarts.com/products/pre-order-sugarblush-hues-luster-sport-kit.html with Cloud: www.expressionfiberarts.com/products/cloud-luster-sport.html
Or Sonder: www.expressionfiberarts.com/products/pre-order-sonder-hues-luster-sport-kit.html with Bella: www.expressionfiberarts.com/products/bella-luster-sport.html
Any of these would make a lovely 5-skein gradient. Hope that helps!
Is it possible to not do the speckled row?
You could knit those sections in a single color if you don't want the speckles.
