The sad part is places like this just perpetuate the problem. People buy sick fish here and all their fish die at home and they abandon the whole hobby and move on to the next animal. It just hurts us all.
Yup....or keep buying fish and dry good trying to fix the issue when the issue is where they are buying the fish!
It is commonly confused that PETCO abuses the animals but they aren't. The people who are selling them to PETCO are the abusers. Not the other way around
If you say so.
But it puts tons of used tanks for cheap on the market. On a side note even though this is factual it was meant as a joke.
Jadren Aquatics couldn’t agree more
I find it truly depends on the location. The one I work in we try and keep as great as we can and most of the team I work with have their own fish and want people to be successful in owning fish and other animals.we all have our own pets and want them to go to a safe home. But then I worked at the other store access town because someone called in sick and it was a nightmare. It was one of her horror pet shops people talk about. None of the staff there was educated or willing to learn and it was extremely irritating. Meanwhile our staff is using some of our personal money to buy fresh veggies for the animals because we fall in love with them while they are there. It depends on the location and motivation of employees.
Also as an employee thank you for not yelling at that person. They probably were just told they had to tell you to leave and it's always great when people don't yell at you for what you can't control ❤
Yeah, I have seen better and worse in my days. Thanks for doing what you do!
Just went to Petsmart the other day and saw lots of their feeder goldfish dead floating on top of the tank which proves that they’ve been dead for a while and were just left there for display. It’s a nightmare 😱
Yeah, for sure.
I subscribed a week ago and now i cant stop watching ur vids!!!
Yeah....that happens! 😎
I’m so glad you made this video, even though it’s been 2-years since posted.
All the local Pet Smarts near me have gone to utter crap. They were always pretty bad, but I think they’ve worsen.
I made the mistake of impulse buying from them 4 days ago. Instead of going to a proper LFS. I went to two locations, and both locations, plenty of dead fish in various tanks.
Like an idiot, I still decided to buy.
So far, already 1 Corydora died on me, another one has a missing eye and clearly is going to die, and a guppy that seemed fine (I went to a different PS location, just a tad further) also dead fish.
I keep blaming myself, and think I’m the problem and it’s me, but I tested, 0 ammonia and nitrite and prior the tank was running 9-months.
I really feel like it’s them, and it’s just hard to keep their fish alive at this point, even going to 2 locations was useless.
So you didn’t even quarantine? That’s trouble.
@@MichaelsFishRoom I didn’t mind skipping quarantine, because this tank is an empty one there was no fish in it after my betta died. I have plans on taking it down in a couple months anyways, and it was only going to be Petsmart fish amongst Petsmart fish.
For my 33-gallon long, once I get that set up, all the fish will be quarantined and probably bought from a more quality LFS vs a crappy chain.
Petco and pet smart turned me off the hoppy years ago with ich, what a mess that was, now got a few shrimp tanks and a few big fish tanks, order online and don’t give up, it may cost a bit online but your getting good quality and not gonna waste money on meds and days of water changes. Get some guppy’s very easy and look great in groups!
Thanks Michael. Another great video. Presently nursing 5 peppered Cory cats purchased 6 days ago from Petsmart. Particularly nasty pop eye developed second day in quarantine with Paraguard. Responding to Kanaplex but lost two right off the bat. Salesperson cheerfully told me not to worry. To bring back any dead fish within 14 days and they will replace them. I don't think so. Last time buying fish from Petsmart.
Sorry for your loss. Hopefully you didn't buy the meds at Petsmart!
I've never understood why fish stores, big box or LFS, don't have as an employee task an hourly "tank walk," looking for and removing dead fish.
Right?
They do.
That doesn’t mean they actually do it.
Anthony Ragan simple... the fish are not they’re first priority unfortunately
Money is. Fish are just a reason for people to walk in.
That is why you should ALWAYS quarantine fish no matter where you buy them
Exactly!
How long should you quarantine fish ? Two weeks?
@@MichaelsFishRoom What is the process of quarantining a fish? I am a new fish owner. Thank you.

@@MichaelsFishRoom even from michaels fish room
I used to have a video bashing their fish and their filters but UA-cam took it down after it gained tons of views over a year 🙈 hopefully they don’t do that to you.
I guess we will see.
Petsmart probably reported you for slander or some other baby-whiny something like that for hurting their feelings!
Still up!
Nope, it's still up! Jo Michael, did you go back there to look at the fish again?
Wouldnt higher ups want you to film to make sure there stores are up to standard
Thankfully, my petsmart has good fish area because the guy that works there is in the fish hobby and actually cares. He is always monitoring the fish area so I guess I'm lucky for that
Sure are!
I had goldfish from my local PetSmart and they never survived. I get my fish from my local fish store and they live their life span out with me. The only fish they seen to survive from Petsmart for me was the betta fish I use to keep.
So glad you brought up that ALL their tanks are on the same water system. So many people don't know this. Where is my Chewy fix? Need it, gots to have it. Show me some Chewy.
If only I could post pics here
They have UV sterilizers in the back that prevents parasites from one tank getting to the others. Also, the feeder fish have a separate coldwater system. This guy is an idiot.
If you believe what you wrote, you are the idiot.
i always go on the day they get their shipment in, plus luckily the person they have over the fish area now seem very knowledgeable.
That's great!
im from scotland and we have "pets at home" (exactly the same thing) and they keep 10+ bettas in the same tank, hillstream loaches with zero added oxygen and because of that they die within a week and turn white and again all their tanks are connected so one sick tank means they're all sick. years ago when pets at home was the only "aquarium store" i could buy from i really struggled to keep their fish alive. i wouldnt surprise me if pets at home and pet co and petsmart were ran by the same person/company
That wouldn't surprise me.
Most of the fish at my local petsmart are ill. I bought guppies from them and they brought in my first illness that I still don't know what it was and it took out about 60% of my guppies. On the other hand, their plecos and corydoras are actually very healthy. I bought over a dozen corys about 4 months ago and all are still alive. My new plecos from them are beautiful and healthy too.
Sorry about the gupps, great to hear about the Cory’s!
That was so funny when you said you would have to throat punch them! OMG made my day! 🤣
LOL
careful of the store music playing, you can get a strike/mute
Yeah...I’m waiting for it. Thanks for bringing it up here....lol
Setting up my fish room soon can’t wait been years coming I need it done looks awsome
You can do it!
Michael's Fish Room thanks bud can’t wait
my petco fish died, but the pet supplies plus ones are still kicking and made it to the main tank. they also sell thier plants $5 and already growing in the tank! i miss the local mom and pop pet stores, they cared for the pets that kept them in business
Nice
In my country all the petstores/aquariums are like this... So sad...
😮
I buy from some of these places because it’s cheap and we’re I live shipping isn’t always that easy but I also medicate and quarantine them for a month so it’s more work in the long run
Where do you live that shipping is an issue?
If they had nothing to hide, they should love it if you put their store on your u-tube channel. Hum, not so much. lol
Exactly
I worked in a chain pet store a year or so ago. Every week we would dose the sump with all different types of chemicals to stop the fish looking sick. (Also ALL of the fish tanks were connected, all the water went to the bottom sump and pumped back out into the “tanks” it was literally just 1 tank) Ph for the fish didn’t matter at all. Another gross thing about it is we had a small room where all the sick animals went, the vets (we had a vets attached in our store) would look at the animals and any that were sick would mostly get euthanised. We even had a bird illness breakout within the whole colony of birds and my boss full on told me to tell the customers they had a “cold”. I only worked there for 9 months I couldn’t do it anymore it was the saddest shit I have ever experienced.
Edit: we even had 2 snakes go missing! They were never found. Mice and rodents were constantly in the back room dying from some disease and every pet there was infected with something or constantly going into the back room, getting loaded up on steroids and sent back on to the floor until sold.
In wouldn’t have lasted a week their!
I started this hobby because of a tank my neighbor gave me which only had guppies I did my research and now they had about 20 fry and they are both females I didnt want them to be lonely so I got some fish at Petco and 2 out of the 3 fish died idk if it was my fault or not I'm very young and I dont consider myself a hobbyist I'm just a kid who's tryna take care of some fish and your videos help me a lot💯
Sorry for loss. It sounds like you are doing everything right.
Lucked out at Petsmart once, brought guppies from SeaCrest Farms straight from the shipping bags. Large, plump, colorful mutts. They have been happily prolific in my tanks and pond for many months. Had to argue them into selling them as company policy said no sales for a day after ship in. Think I will try some guppy mutts from you next.
Last day for "ThankYou10" promo code.....just saying! LOL
Wow those fish looked terrible! Don’t know why I’m surprised though. Wonder why that lady was so upset??? Lol seems as if she was maybe embarrassed about something... haha Great video Michael, gave me a nice Sunday afternoon smile🤙🏻
Maybe because there was a whole container of dead fish right there!
Michael's Fish Room 😂
Thanks for the video! I know that’s store you recorded is not the best but the PetSmart by I live is 5 times more horrible... water look very foggy, the tanks have mold, fish looking sick and prices are so high 🤦🏻♂️ so much I have to say but I will never end. Hope PetSmart companies try to evolve and create something productive in the fish department. They just care 1 money 2 money 3 money not about the concert of the pets in their companies.
Yeah
Michael it is good that fish lovers shame pet shops because if big enough ripples are created something might get done to improve conditions . Pity the love of animals is not incentive enough to have them well cared for.
Exactly!
There doesn't have to be a law about not filming in their store, she said it's in the stores policy. And the fact that you raised the camera to her face as she's telling you not to film her is super disrespectful. With that being said, this video still helped me. Thank you.
Lol...you’re welcome.
I know, our petsmart most of the tanks are empty, no more sales, and all the fish are the same common species, the only fish i would recommend are the Roseline Barbs
Do you have any videos discussing fish health? It would have been super helpful if you pointed out exactly what was wrong with these fish. To a newbie with an untrained eye it's difficult for me to see what's wrong unless it is something super glaring. Unfortunately I don't live around anywhere with many stores so I need tips on making sure I'm buying healthy stock
Specifically no, but I have some videos on other issues.
I wish I had known about petsmart before I bought the 2 plecos that caused a massive ich outbreak in both my tanks. While I'm pretty smart about most aspects of fishkeeping, when I bought the plecos, I was fairly new to the hobby....this little fishkeeper is much more educated now.
You live and you learn! As long as you learn it is OK!
i love your videos when u in japan and guppies and fish store tours
Thanks!
At my PetSmart they take very good care of of their fish and I will continue buying them there.
That’s awesome!
That Petsmart was a palace compared to my local one! I went yesterday and the feeder tanks all had a layer of scum on the bottom and the front of the tanks were so dirty you can barely see inside anymore! Several tanks had at least a dozen dead fish floating on top. I also counted 3 non feeder tanks (one was tetras, did not look to see what the other 2 were) that had dead fish caught in the filter.
That sucks. Did you tell anyone?
Michael's Fish Room The scum, dirt and dead fish are obvious but I still tell the workers whenever I go in. I also told an employee about the fish caught in the filter.
How do you know if there sick one of mine keeps staying at the very bottom and looks like hes laying down but his gills are still moving
When you are sick, do you still breathe?
@@MichaelsFishRoom yes
@@daniellearizmendi7499 Then most likely sick. Need more information to help though.
Biggest mistake I made as a young girl was purchasing my fish from Walmart. The guppies just kept having ich. The only fish that did good that I got there were the oscars but they’ve got some thick slime coating. Think think that was the only part of their biology that saved them.
At least you learned. Some people don't. LOL
Well done Michael it's good that you're putting the word out and you handled that perfectly I don't blame you I'm not a lawyer or either I wouldn't have debated the issue with the store lady either I live near a very small town we don't have any pet shops that's kind of ironic I was just telling a friend of mine the other day well we're probably better off that we don't have a big chain store because they're not really known for selling quality fish the only way to obtain quality anything is to buy from a breeder who sells quality stock thanks again though man I like your videos
Thanks for watching!
Mike I broke my phone and you owe me a new iPhone 13 max pro !!!! Legend says mike is still coughing !!!
I’m fine!
Great videos my friend I find your channel very helpful. I also keep guppies and started my own little channel. I'm a novice but a big fan of fish and love the hobby
Good luck!
Thanks pal
So I am completely beginner and I am planning to get a betta at pet smart. I set up the aquarium and everything but do you think I should get a betta at a different “fish” (I don’t know what a store that sells fish is called) store?
Up to you. Do you know what the nitrogen cycle?
Michael's Fish Room no I don’t actually.
There's a Pet Supplies Plus by me that has over 100 dead feeder and comet goldfish in their tanks. I just went in for the dollar per gallon sale since Petco wasn't having one. The worst part is that this was about 7-10 days after they were newly installed to the store. That's really sad they don't have a clue.
ugh
I bought fish from PetSmart and had a good experience. I added fish from local fish shop, and they were sick and wiped out most of the tank, the only survivors being one angelfish and five Corydoras I got from PetSmart, and one adult Corydoras I got from the lfs. I did not quarantine and that was entirely my fault, but still, the ill fish came from a small local shop. In my personal situation I think the best source of fish is PetSmart for me unfortunately. I live in a very rural area so my options for in-person fish stores/providers are bleak.
Cool
I buy a lot of my fish from petsmart, ive had a red devil and a jack for almost 8 years from them. Not all are bad
Right, I never said they all are bad.
There’s one petco near Minneapolis that takes great care of their stock. Even has a saltwater and coral section
one.....great........
@@MichaelsFishRoom yeah that’s the sad part
@@bonecollectorpro5680 It is terrible in most places.
I need help, I’ve bought a couple fish for my small 10 gallon, it was all going good at first then out of no where maybe a week in my pleco and Molly died then there is tons of ich in my tank and now two mollys have Popeye am I doing something wrong??
Clearly. Did you quarantine? Did you cycle your tank?
Eye opening and yes it depends on the store
For sure.
That was heartbreaking.
yes it was
Is this petsmart in Shreveport if not I swear it’s the exact same build
Nope, it is in NJ. I bet a lot of them are the same.
I was wondering if your guppies will survive in a tank without crushed coral?
Depends how hard your water is.
Thanks for the info!
Good to know, thanks,
Thanks for watching
Where did you go did you go to mission Viejo or Lake Forest
Sicklerville
It's scary looking at the way they have there set up
yup
My snack while watching this video was cheddar chex mix and a mountain dew. Im shocked the mollies didn't have visible ich. This is why us fish snobs prefer to give business to our local fish stores :)
That sounds like a great snack...I’m more of a water kinda guy though.
My petsmart is sold out of tropical fish in 2-3 days no matter what or how many they get. They still have a few cichlids and glofish but tropicals fly out of there and the ppl that they have working there are pretty knowledgeable. I never really pay much attention to the color either because after a diet of quality food their color, size and fins get vibrant and look better than even the best fish rooms.
Nice!
I’ve had zero issues with my fish from petsmart in my area. I buy from petsmart and couple local stores. Had worse luck with the local stores.
I've bought alot of my fish from my local petsmart. Since the closest LFS is around an hour away. Thankfully I've only had 1 neon die the day after I got it. My petsmart receives a shipment of fish every Wednesday, so I wait until Saturday or Sunday to go and look at what's left. The weaker ones or the ones that were stressed to the max are gone by that point. With that being said I still quarantine every fish and plant no matter where I've purchased them. I personally dont think the chain stores are that bad. For someone like me it makes the hobby a lot more accessible.
Not a bad plan.....My Petsmart used to be very good...this was horrible!
I bought my betta from petsmart and my Pleco from Walmart. My betta was so healthy and doing great, but then I introduced a Pleco into his tank and now he has developed a severe case of fin rot. I regret getting that Pleco so bad because my betta peter isn’t doing really good and I’m thinking he’s going to die soon. He used to be so active and now he just sleeps, and when he does move he freaks out whenever he touches something. I’m using bettafix to try and solve it. If anyone has any tips for me please help.
🤦🏻♂️what size tank? What kind of pleco? The best thing for fin rot is clean water. Maybe add some EM Erythromycin to prevent infection.
I'm glad I saw this video because I'm getting back into fish and I was 4 for 20 on fish from there though it was me!
Most likely not you
Since the store is not public property, they can tell you not to film there, if you do not comply they can remove you. If you do not leave, they can call cops and charge for trespassing.
Thanks Capt.
Have you ever walked in without a camera and ask about there filtration system. It is amazing truly a work of art. Just ask them if you can see it...
I took one apart once.....it was kinda cool.
Is this in Everett MA by chance
Nope, Sicklerville, NJ
I have a question... My one female guppy gave birth to a bunch of fry which I separated into their own tank. But, she had white stringy poop/worms and died. Should I be assuming that the fry will have worms and treat them? If so, with what? I wish that you were local...I bought five female guppies from Petco and they all died within 5 days. I currently have a pregnant female guppy giving birth in a quarantine tank that I was about to treat with expel P In case they have red worms like the five guppies that died from a different batch. This pregnant guppy that is giving birth currently was treated with para cleanse and did have white worms coming out of her. As soon as the fry are born I will move them in with the other fry. The other fry are maybe 10 days old? Is it okay to put them together?
I've got a new petsmart recently built near where i live and hopefully their fish don't end up like this...
Hope not
That’s terrible- my local Petsmart takes amazing care of their fish and all of the bettas are healthy and I haven’t found one sick or dead fish yet
That’s awesome. Unfortunately not the norm.
Hello Michael, Do the mutt fish reproduce?
of course
lmao!!! " ok folks have a great weekend! wait why would you have a great weekend, you just had a weekend!"
LOL
“Sick’em Mike!” 😼
Lol
Yep. I got a betta 1 year ago. Kept getting sick. This last time he didn't recover. Died 4 days ago. It was always something..
If you had it a year, it was fine.
Petsmart in my town has velvet disease in all its tanks and won't treat them and change them out even though they know and are very aware.so i never buy live fish from there since my first mistake buying one when i first started keeping fish
Unfortunately we all learn the hard way.
I have never been a fan of pet smart, out of a handful of them in my region.... also never had much luck getting good dry goods from them...
I HAVE bought a LOT of things from local shops, and also gotten ill fish or unwanted hitchhikers from places...
Now, I QT everything .... but I still value Petco and their now 50% off sale on tanks(used to be $1/gallon)....as well as their sales on food, supplies, equipment, etc... I have one really good Petco in my area that always has clean tanks, healthy fish, etc... knowledgeable staff.... and I have had great luck so far with their livestock...it is hard to mail order fish where I live as a lot of the year weather is unfavorable for that...
I just look over the fish carefully, watch them a while, and look over the other fish carefully in that bank of tanks... it seems that they have theirs separated into sections, every 2 stacks of tanks has 1 sump underneath 1 stack, and 1 pump and such under a second stack.... somewhat helping keep from having the entire store's tanks go out of commission. ....but shared nets and such is still a thing at most any store...
Stores are well over an hour from me, but I have also journeyed a full day drive one way, to get to a store before... it was well worth it, and I plan another trip soon to check out a different store...
Gotta QT everything, even from trusted sources!
Mine is similar quality or lack of...
BOOOOOO
My petsmart gave my tank Ich! Black skirt tetras came home and I didn’t quarantine them 👎👎👎👎 One week later it was everywhere in the tank. I’ve successfully treated all fish with no losses, none the less I was not happy to get sick fish from Petsmart. Sticking to my local fish store from now on.
Good job on treating, but Petsmart didn't do anything. YOU did not QT, that's on you.
Michael's Fish Room I agree quarantine is important but I COMPLETELY disagree that Petsmart didn’t do anything. I’d be scared to buy fish from you if you think selling sick fish is totally okay and it’s the customers fault that the fish is sick when it gets home. BTW Petsmart also wouldn’t let me look at their tanks or the tetras I got until after they bagged them as the whole tank area is taped off do to this Quarantine stuff. So i was not able to check their condition before purchase because of Petsmart’s decision. I agree the majority of responsibility is on me to quarantine the fish at home- BUT Petsmart did do something. They sold sick fish. Enough said, that’s unacceptable in my opinion, I highly doubt they didn’t know the fish were sick. Especially being black skirt tetras it’s should have been EASY for them to spot ich and not sell any fish associated with that water.
Michael's Fish Room I must be mis-understanding you because I cannot fathom someone defending a pet store selling any type of sick pet and blaming the customer for it when they notice it’s sick a few days after taking it home? Uhm?
I’m not saying thy are not equally to blame.
Getting kicked out for filming dead fish, somethings never change...
But you are welcome to film the not yet dead fish!
Avtuall;y they didn't want me to film at all!
All Petsmart fish are sick because they use connected filtration and they don't pay any attention to the tanks so they just pump problems around. I just recently rescued some sick fish at my local Petsmart. An Angel fish with velvet pretty bad. (happy to report he has recovered and is doing well) 5 guppies and a clown pleco that all had pretty advanced ick. (sad to say they all were just too far along and stressed to make it) I detest that place but I always try to buy a few sick fish to try and save them from the flush. Win some, lose some but it's sad the hurt they put on small fish stores around here. They took out our local store that was a decades old fixture in this town. They also put fish directly from the bag to the floor untreated. Either it's a blind risk on Thursday or like picking over a grave site on Wednesday. I don't have any experience with the fish from other Petsmart stores just the one in Lakewood NY.
Yeah, inexperienced staff and bad stock don't mix well. I am sure there are some "good" petsmarts, but not many!
but that back swimming pale eyed half grey molly looked stunning......or stunned....:PPPP
It was bad!
Lately I've been getting fish from a large independent pet store in a neighboring county. … Whenever they get sick fish they treat the entire tank and won't sell any fish from that tank until the outbreak subsides. … It seems a lot more effective than the PetSmart method of removing visibly sick fish to a hospital tank.
Right because once one fish is infected, most likely the rest of the fish are infected.
At my local pet smart, the people that work there love the fish, many of them are in the aquarium hobby, I'm friends with one if the workers, joy, she gives me the baby fish that are born of their guppies and such, theyre so little they would get sucked into the filter, she gives many of them to me as she trusts I will take good care if them, they have a sick fish area, with betta cups of medicated water for the fish they find that get sick, but few fish get put in there because they maintain the water well, the only thing that sucks is the care if the bettas, but they tend to be abused everywhere, they try their best, and do water changes on the cups every other day.
Nice
Omg that the one I work at. Can you do an updated version
Why, is it better?
I have bought a bunch of African cichlids and clown loaches from petsmart and petco and all of them are healthy have a 7 inch blood parrot and clown loaches that I bought from both places that I have had for 4 years and are doing great.
Awesome
I recently purchased a couple male guppies from petsmart they were both dead in 48 hrs.Thank god i quarantined them.
You should have bought guppies from me!
Have had 3 white cloud mountain minnows for a couple years...no problems. Recently bought 2 baby white clouds, 2 male guppies, 3 female guppies from Pets martial. Within 2 days of purchase; 1 of my white clouds was dead, 1 new baby white cloud was dead, 1female guppy was dead, both male guppies were dead. Never had that happen in more than 40 years of keeping fish. We used to have a family-owned/run pet store that I always shopped at. Wonderful quality, awesome fish selection, great employees. Chain pet stores put them out of business. Been a crap shoot ever since.
Petsmart not pet martial. Ignorant autocorrect.
LOL....glad you corrected it for me.
Yeah, the big box stores are hurting the hobby for sure.
Is it publicly marked in the front of the store that you can't film? Normally, state laws require it be marked in the front of the store but not sure in NJ.
I didn't argue this time....LOL
Employee was just a 🐑. Baaaaaaaaa rarely does an employee have their own mind and not give a damn.
Amen to that!
Yup
All the corporate stores buy from the same massive fish farms. These fish farms have to raise these (inbred) fish in a soup of antibiotics, antifungals and Growth Hormones in order to speed the 'time to market'. So these fish are grown in a chemical bath and artificially 'sped up' biologically - and everyone wonders why they are susceptible to every disease as well as living very short lifespans compared to organically grown fish. Then they drop them in tanks that are all on the same filter system so diseases and parasites are shared between all of the tanks.
Stop buying Corporate- for your fish and yourself. And for the hobby.
That's right! Buy from www.michaelsfishroom.com

Every store has dead fish, but leaving them out like that. My local petco likes to leave the dead fish in the tank for DAYs.
They like too? 🥺
My fish from pet smart has been alive for 5+ years it just depends on how you take care of them
It actually depend on how the store takes care of them if they are sick at the store.
Is this the petsmart in Delaware?
Nope. NJ.
I bought 8 fish today and they all died in the bag before I made it home. 6 neon tetras and 2 platys

My local Petsmart is crap! Sick fish in every tank, all the tanks are empty bare bottom, I can't even go in that section any more it kills me! And that's all we have except a petco and they aren't much better!
Mine used to be better...now it is a death zone!
Hi Mike how can I order fish from you! I live in New York City USA!
Easy, just go to my website, www.michaelsfishroom.com!
My Petsmart makes yours look wonderful..we have to drive to a Petco ..its new the guys all keep fish but they have a new woman manager and she is not as good as I was told to expect..but I did till her I have never seen dead fish there before..I hope she took note..my local fish shop is crap..never going there again..now they sell rabbits all you need to know about how down hill they are going..
That sucks....I am lucky in that my LFS may not be the best, but is good.
Whats with the "woman manager"??? You sexist bruh?!
@@Samuel-dl2so I am very sexist...its a talent..🤔🤔🤔
How is that sexist exactly?
Everything is sexist nowadays..its the new ' in ' thing..🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
I'm fine lol thanks for sharing
Lol
The problem with stores like lets say Petco or petsmart, walmart etc they are not just fish so they can't focus on them. As once running a store that had 65 tanks non connected to each other labor is crazy pricy and unless you focus on that its hard to keep people . Maybe they just got a shipment and the shipment looked bad and they just didn't watch the tanks who knows. I prefer the mom and pop or little guy as they have to watch the live stock more as it hurts them more when they die off.
My point exactly!
I hear a parrot calling for help.
LOL
Very cool what your showing I see alot of dead fish in tanks and some are so thin. Its cool ur viedoing I tryed and they told me no cell phone or they kicked me out.
They eventually kicked me out too. But I kept filming.
@@MichaelsFishRoom The sad part some times we have no choice if we want fish to go there. I think u just have to really look at the fish u buy very good and with luck they will be ok. My weather loach was like that now hes happy fat and out going.
You have to look at the entire system!
