Thank you so much for this tutorial! I tried my hand at face painting yesterday at my daughter’s birthday party and I received MANY compliments that I looked like I had done this for years. This shark is simple, cool and so easy! Thank you again!
I'm thinking of buying some stencil finger daubers. Are they washable/reuseable? I'm having the probelm where the stencil doesn't always come out crisp with a regular sponge.
My new favorite tool is a small Kabuki brush. This way you can wash it after each use, more so than a finger dauber. In order to get crisp stenciling is to not add a lot of water. So it is ideal to spray the paint and NOT the tool.
@@judyflores4780 I honestly do not like rush on my designs if I do not have to so I can do anywhere from 15-25 kids an hour. It just depends on the designs they pick. But I honestly prefer to do 15 an hour (spending about 4 mins per child) .
I adore your shark, always love your tutorials they are so well done thank you 😊. Could I ask what you would paint for men that say just paint "anything" I love that they join in but always panic on what to paint. X
With something like that I either look at their outfit and paint something abstract, or if they have kids around them I like to paint them as a Tiger since it makes the whole family laugh and smile. Also Batman/Joker tends to be a popular choice if I offer it. Skulls as well, and pirates.
I love tutorials, and I learn so much. I was wondering if you can do a tutorial on how you sterilize your work space between clients. Do you use the same sponge on each child, or do you sanitize your sponges ?... etc.. What cleaners you use...etc. Thank you!!!
I use silly farm brush bath for my brush water. These keeping my brushes clean but also removing any bacteria. I find using alcohol is a little too rough on my supplies so I avoid it. I use a new sponge on each child and place the dirty ones in a bag. And between each person I sanitize my hands. If I see a kid is all sneezy I will spray Lysol around the area before the next person sits down.

@@FacePainting101 Thank you so much for the information and your time. I really appreciate it!!!!!!!
can you make a cat? but not full face just a small cat seating on the forhead. I have seen one but they are really hard. Please keep making videos.
I'll look into it. Right now it has been so hard to juggle making videos but new ones will be coming out soon.!
