Thanks so much for the review. My wife and I are looking to upgrade our camper and it's really discouraging reading reviews on any camper. Everyone has horror stories but proper expectations go a long ways towards satisfaction.
Bought this same trailer in February. I like everything except that shelf above the galley. I hit my head on the very sharp bottom corner so many times I wanted to rip it out. I solved the problem by placing 2 hook-on expandable towel racks (dollar store) on the shelf "lip" and adding a length of grey foam hot water pipe insulation (hardware store) over the tubular parts of the towel racks. The grey foam actually blends with the grey "decor" and my head is no longer getting bruised and lacerated.
Oh Ralph I totally forgot to mention that , you are so right, I have hit my head a couple of times over the sink it doesn't seem to happen at the stove but you bend forward more to wash dishes also you do have to duck a bit for the door. Thanks for mentioning this.
Hello..just bought a Bushwacker took it on a camping trip..had to use the heater..the new heater smell triggered the smoke detector..now I’m scared to use it lol did u have a similar experience when the trailer was brand new? Thanks
Hello, I have not had that problem with the smoke detector but have with the carbon monoxide detector especially if the floor has dust, it can trigger it. They do have that smell when they are new. You may need to just turn the heater on fairly high and go outside and let it " cook off " . Let me know how it turns out and enjoy your trailer :)
Wondering if you still have your Bushwacker since you made this video. I've heard a lot of people in reviews complain about build quality. With your background of 25 years of RVing do you find that Bushwacker was more maintenance/repairs than your other Rv's?
I answered one of my own questions by subscribing and watching your videos. I see you have a different camper in a video a few days ago. Wondering why you got rid of the Bushwacker. I'm thinking about getting one and think your input would be valuable.
We still have the Bushwhacker but we are selling it but not because of how it's made we just decided that we wanted a small toy hauler for our e bikes and a little bigger bathroom. The Bushwhacker has a good trailer frame the rest is so so quality, we have not had any issues with it since getting the fan and sink faucet fixed. Is it a high quality trailer ? No, but then again it isn't 10's of 1000's of dollars.....but still not cheap
A friend of mine just bought one of these. The build quaility is horrible. Just the trim alone, inside and out, is completely unacceptable. I lost track of how much mismatched trim there is and how many spots outside that are connected by caulking. Not even to mention the spots where the caulking outside didn't cover all the seams! That's just what I saw in a 10 minute walkaround.
That is true, I've done other videos on this trailer, ours wasn't that bad but there was issues. The under carriage however is good. People are buying these and remodeling them, it's crazy I know. Thanks for the comment
Hey thanks for the vid. I have a quick question. Do you need a brake controller and 7 pin connector for this trailer? I was going to rent a nucamp 320 s but decided to pull the trigger and put a downpayment on one of these bushwhackers. I was installing the 7 pin and controller for the nucamp. Would I need the same equipment installed? Thanks in advance.

Thank you, it is definitely good to listen to many reviews, with this trailer there is good and bad for sure.

Thank you for this vid! I just bought the same exact camper trailer. I'm very excited about it and appreciate your insight.
Thank you, enjoy your new trailer.
Can you hook up the outdoor shower to the privacy shower so the shower head stays over you?
The hose is 4 ft but with the height of where it's mounted you have about 6ft of height. Your privacy shelter needs to be very close to the trailer.
@@beadtrapper8342 Thanks so if I get one with straight up and down walls I might be able to do it then.
Yes.
Your videos are so informative. Thank you so much.
Well thank you
One year warranty now. Braxton Creek just sold the company in February 2023
Well thats to bad a 2 year warranty was nice

@@beadtrapper8342 Thank you for the information.
We picked up ours with lots of defects. I wanted it to be fixed. So bad they did not have it in mint condition
Are they going to be fixing the problems ?
Thanks for the video. Looking right now at campers and this one is on my list.
Thanks, we are enjoying it. We did just reconfigure the bed, I'll be posting a video on that in the next couple of weeks.
Read the reviews! These campers are falling apart junk and the manufacturer is horrible and their lack of quality!
Want to see the inside???
Hello, I have another video before this one that shows the inside :)
RVing for 25 years?
Yes we have rv'd over 25 years, 5 years full time :)
How big is the bed? Queen? King?
It is queen size, but we changed it, I have another video on that. Thanks for the question
How much did you pay for it?
They are running around 13-16,000 new now
@@beadtrapper834223k here in canada... we get ripped.
I bought my 2023 Bushwhacker in Minnesota for about $11,800 new.

@@beadtrapper8342 My friend is handy, so I hope she'll be able to keep up with potential issues.
Good video, thanks for sharing!

Calvin, yes it is 7 pin and it came with brakes.
