      Sorry to feel this way. Love the channel. But, watching him use those "left handed" pipe pliers, the wrong way, is so very cringy.
      First suggestion, only use Knipex. Far and away superior to most all brands. Secondly, turn them around . Give them a chance to work the way they are intended.
      I belive this is the reason most would see their use as "not correct". They are a perfectly good tool to use in this case, if used properly.
      Again, I love the channel. Don't change anything. Except the direction of the pipe pliers

    The fact that you're setting car alarms off in the parking lot while inside doing pulls is wild. Poor Andrew's ear pro still not being enough while tuning though speaks volumes for just how loud this thing is.

      I do have to admit. It's loud..

    Seeing 12V-13V means no charging. A used battery/good condition on its own should show 12.4-12.7. A working charger should show 13.5V to 14.5V, with highest number when the battery is discharged. When the battery sucks more power from the charger, the charger understand that the battery is empty and increases the charging voltage to about 14.5V and lowers it to about 13.3V-14V when batter is charged. If it doesnt lower the voltage it will cook off the electrolyte in the battery pretty fast. Hope this can help some young guys out there.

    • @philliptownsend2829
      @philliptownsend2829 Місяць тому

      Modern AGM batteries don’t work this way. You’re not wrong with lead acid. But agm batteries should never show more than 12-12.7 volts while charging. The only time an agm should show above 13.5 volts is at initial start up or during charging while driving and motor on. With vehicle off and hooked to charger it should read 12.4-12.7

    • @2nickles647
      @2nickles647 18 днів тому

      Perfect explanation.
      I've tried and tried to tell people that.
      Nope...my alternator is not charging even though my battery is fully charged. It should be pulling more volts.
      I need a bigger alternator.
      I see the battery is cooked. Sides bulging out and it's hot.
      I say sure, your car, buy another battery because this one is cooked. 😊😅😅

      Looked pretty stable to me, even caged chassis will flex. My caged e30 will flex about a half inch upwards behind the front towers when I jack it up by the front core support jack point (partial tube front end, caged interior, no cage tie in to towers per rulebook). Anywhere where the cage doesnt triangulate will likely move, and where it is tied in, will flex but in a much less noticeable increment. The model A looked great under load throughout this video

    Dude that thing sounds sinister. When homey was just whacking the throttle in neutral it reminded of the bat mobile in that new Batman movie. When i first watched the movie my girlfriend and i were truck camping. I have an old tricked out '85 ford f250 with a 700 horsepower 514 stroker big block ford, atlas tcase, 4l85e, '12 super duty front and rear axles with air lockers and 4.96 gears. Its an absolute menace to society. I built a badass pop up camper for the back out of an old travel trailer i cut up. Its rad. 42 inch flat screen, new xbox, the truck is a rolling wifi hotspot, queen sized purple mattress in the back, baby generator, quarter ounce of mushrooms and we were FLYING. When you first see the batmobile in the movie i was peaking super hard and it honestly looked so badass it made me cry a little. I was shrooming hella hard so dont give me too much shit but, thats how you know ur a real car guy right there.

    My biggest pet peeve is when people use hand tools improperly. Channel lock style adjustable wrenches are supposed to be used in one direction. When used the right way they don't slip when used on pipe or fasteners. When used the wrong way they slip (as indicated in this video). Ideally, I would say this privately to someone I saw doing this, but a public comments section is all that is available to me for this instance.

    I'd like the shock assembly so I can tell my wife it's the only part left over after finishing my current project "must have been an extra"

    What a killer payoff..... you should have a cars and coffee / open house at the shop. I would love to see your cars in person. I have seen the K Swapped Ferrari at SEMA, but have been following you since you did the video on the E36 for SOWO? back then it had the trumpet intake and was on AMG wheels. This was before UA-cam and was a DVD. LOL yes I am that old. Thanks for always sharing your builds

    My Quickjack came with a bottle of that LG188 for the hydraulic fittings. I thought about using it when I did the oil pressure sensor on my BRZ, but I didn't know if that was an appropriate use for it, mostly because of temperature. I decided to get some permatex high temp thread sealant from O'Reilly, and it hasn't sprung a leak yet, including 4 track days with 270*F oil temps.

    7:15 you should use your wrench the other way around. That way it will grip when try to turn the pipe.
    The way you’re using them now opens them up when your turning.

    Best way to clean E85 residue in the system is to just use regular gas once a year or so (provided you have flexfuel capability or can change the tune).
