Exciting new additions to the world of DJ equipment! Looking forward to seeing how these innovations shape the future of electronic dance music. #djequipment #newtech #musicproduction
Was not a super long video at all, given the amount of stuff you had to cover. VERY VERY good information and thank you for making the video. I didnt even know there was a company called Modern Console and I had been researching DJ furniture for last 4 months, have seen all Bun Gear videos, Danny Max videos, Jason Jani booths, Toad booths, but still something was missing.. Either something was too heavy, or not specious enough to fit everything, of it it was spacious it wasn’t stylish. These MC booths seem to meet them all. Still need to do more research, thank you immensely for opening a new door for me. THANK YOU.

Amazing all the customization you did. Looking to build one myself. My biggest question is I keep seeing everybody with these cables down by their feet? Do you not kick them or rub your legs against them when youre djing?
Nope. They're not as close to the feet as it might look in this video. The connections are also above the ground, so if my feet were to get too close to them, my feet would be under them.
Awesome! Was it helpful at all? I’m not 100% sure they’re still in production sine the page on their website is down, but I’d recommend calling or emailing them to check.
No idea! It's pretty light when there isn't anything in it... You can easily lift it up when it's all assembled. But its heavy when it's full of gear and the rack is full :)
HI. great detail video. Nice set up. What is the rack you have surrounding your DJ controller to hold it in place. where can I find it. Is it adjustable based on the different size of controllers
It has a rail system made out of 80/20, very similar to the Bunn Gear Command Center. The side rails that adjust in and out have L shaped plates that you squeeze up against the sides of the controller and the controller also sits on top of them.
Hi Mike! Love this video and booth! Is there anything you would change or make different? I'm building almost exactly this booth and was curious. Thank you!!
If I could go back, I'd change where I placed the bolts that attach the top box to the pedestal. Right now if I want to remove the top box, I have to unrack some gear to reach and unscrew the bolts. If I planned it out better, I would have put them in areas that are easier to reach my hand down and unscrew without having to unrack anything.
@@ginafourell6821 Yeah I was bummed when they stopped making it. Their new 2.0 version is pretty cool, but if you need a 19" center rack like I do then the new one won't work for you. I guess not enough people were ordering the original version.
Damn dude. That's complete overkill... I like it. Any chance you have links for some of the toys you added, like the swivel DMX cables, powered USB hub, etc? Thanks.
LOL! Yeah, but I use all that stuff. And when you think about it, it's really just mics, mixer, transmitter for wireless speaker, and a way to power it all. I'm actually not doing anything too over the top, just making sure I have all the tools I usually use at my fingertips.
Love it! What type of wood did you use for the top? Looks like ply? But a much nicer finish
No idea! I didn't build this one... It's a Modern Console NEO original version. They don't make these anymore and are now on their 3rd version of it.
@@dandcoent Oh sorry, got the impression you made it, I skipped through the video! Thank you for replying :)
They use 3/4 birch at least that’s what my buddy told me since he bought the newest version

Tiny video wall instead of the panel?! 😉😉 that’s amazing dude! It’s just super clean!
Ha! That'd be awesome. The smallest TV booth ever

I was looking for the Modern DJ Console Neo and found your video. Glad I did.

Cool piece of kit! Defo one of the best seen on here! How many U’s is the centre rack holding your powercon etc please?
About 16U if I remember right
Thanks for taking the time to share and an excellent video.
You bet!
Very cool & professional
Gorgeous.
Great video and equipment! How heavy is the booth? I'm looking into the bunn booth as well.

Ape lab coins might help with lighting those panels

@@dandcoent Got it. Thank you so much!! Love the setup man! Super impressive!
Thank you for this video! I planned to buy this booth until they changed it on me. Now I’m trying to recreate a similar concept myself.

That's a good idea, I'll work on putting links to everything in the description.
Great vid! Link or name of your 90 degree xlrs?
Here you go! There are different lengths and colors to choose from. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NN8TDNR?th=1
Nice setup, what did you use for your laptop stand.
It came with it from Modern Console when I bought the booth. I think they have them fabricated.
Can you give me any insight on how the laptop stand gets attached/removed? I'm building my own booth and that is one of the last obstacle
Hey! Shoot me an email at info@dandcoent.com and I'll send you some pics how how it attaches.
Thanks for sharing
You betcha!
Nice case where can I find the aluminum rails
The rails are made out of 80/20 Framing Extrusion. They're aluminum. You can have custom designs made at www.8020.net
