i like how informative this review is, it is well paced to, the way you talk and explain details about the vehicle! Top notch! you’re not goofy like the rest out there.
Good review, in the long run the Raptor will have better resale value than other midsize trucks. It’s a better all round truck than a bison or other full on rock crawlers.
I looked at everything in the segment. I went for the raptor, luckily for MSRP. I'll take the 405hp TTV6 over the torquey but slow 4 cyl along with the live valve shocks. Where I live vented seats aren't necessary, especially how the AC cranks. Plus it has some of the best performing headlights in the entire industry which you don't know how good they are until you see it. We are spoiled because all these trucks are good. But when it comes to proven real world testing pedigree with multiple victories at baja 1000 and finke, the RR takes the cake by far.
Because we can't buy them. Every dealer that has one charges an absurd ADM for it. I'm just going to by a GMC Canyon I think. I can get it on discount, loaded, and I don't need an offroad race truck. Buy a sports car, buy a motorcycle, get a truck that's available and more affordable and just as capable doing anything except jumping/doing 60mph offroad.
Great review. A couple things that you pointed out that I would like to address. That huge screen, while not a deal breaker I do prefer one that is smaller with some knobs for volume and channel changing etc. Not a deal breaker as I know there are buttons on the steering wheel that I would use. While no in the center console, I understand there are HVAC vents under the front seats? What is a deal breaker for me...me being a person who has had a Ford/Lincoln/Mercury of some model in my driveway uninterrupted since 1982, 1) a sunroof. It doesn't need to be a full roof sunroof even an old school 36" X 18" moonroof from 10 years ago. 2) Heated AND Cooled seats. Not ventilated, Cooled. C'mon Ford. You market this thing as a desert racer and it's 116 degrees on test day...put those damn cooled seats in it. Also, add the HVAC to the console. My 2001 Explorer has it. finally something everyone seems to overlook. The trailer connection hangs to low from the bumper and is begging to get ripped off while 4 wheeling. put it up next to the license plate please. Other than that I'll take mine with the new Warranted tune from Ford for 455 HP and 536 Ft/Lb!!
Nice review! Liked the desert off roading, although I would have liked to see you letting it rip in Baja mode down an open road. You said it was 116 degrees during your testing, did you find the lack of ventilated seats uncomfortable? Do you think the lack of vents for the back seat would be uncomfortable for rear passengers during the summer in AZ?
The lack of vents of the rear seat of any vehicle is a bummer, why it's always looked at in our reviews. Ventilated seats would have been a bonus too but not a deal killer.
Hello, great review. I did get a chance to look at this same truck today. Beautiful looking truck. But what really disappointed me was the horrible quality of the leather / fabric and stiching in the front seats. Wrinkles everywhere.....come on Ford im sorry you are better than this.
Sheet metal the same ? No, no it's not. Entire body is wider from the center to accept the 3ltr V6. 4"-6" not including fender flares. Park one next to previous gen, it's visible for sure.
Never purchased (or would purchase) an American vehicle, but this is a great looking truck. I also like the interior amenities. Another great video, Sam. 🦾

The Colorado ZR2 is 48 to 52,000. It has cool seats Vents in the rear and has buttons for the locking axles. It’s a much better value.

Awesome review and one of the better one that’s out there!
American public is not excited about this truck like I had thought they would be. I actually think it's a great truck.
I AM! 💯
Where are you getting that info?
@joaquinxleon me too!!!
@@revnation_auto I think a lot has to do is not a lot of people know it exists but when they see it. It gets instant positive reactions

Cattle guard!! LOL! Thanks, Sam, for still mentioning “cattle guard” whenever you drive over one. I like the new look of the Ranger.
Love this channel, this guy looks like Cypher from The Matrix.😊
I love my Raptor!
I like this, it's a great looking truck. Good review Sam. Keep 'em coming.

Great in depth review. New sub 👍
Thanks for the sub!
I understand your logic on pricing, however, just because everyone overprices their trucks, doesn't make it a good price.
WOW, what a beautiful color!,,,,,
Absolutely!!!

The ranger raptor was developed by the Australian design and engineering team, so you could buy it;)
@@curtis4925 Like that of the Holden Monaro, among others.
