Thanks! You're kind of late for last Christmas, but you're a little early for this one. So it all depends on how you think about it. I actually added a nativity scene to my collection this year. I found a really good deal on one in the summer. Mary, Joseph, 3 wise men, a Shepard, some animals, and it even came with an angel, some LED Palm trees, and a plywood building frame for it sit infront of. I'm pretty excited for this years display.
@ I use 3 pallets and a big stakes and then a tarp on top. My angle got stolen in the early 2000s kids would come and steal stuff and I belive that was one that never got returned but I have the North Star so that’s good and the only box I’m missing is Mary Joseph and baby Jesus’s box but I’m planning on getting a new angle and rewiring my North Star it kelps short cicuriting
@KeithMelps That's dope. I grew up in a crazy Christmas light house, and we definitely had a few things stolen by kids in the 2000s too. One night someone just came by and cut a whole bunch of stands of lights for no good reason, and my dad said fuck it and took everything down. He stopped doing a big display for like 10 or 15 years, but now that he moved away and retired, he's gotten back into it.
Nice work, gonna like really festive once the snow flies. If you're worries about the the cracks on the snowman get a plastic welder and melt it back togthere, they are pretty cheap. Lol on the pm joke (not the actually pm who is a joke, but the joke about the joke of the pm)
I've talked to a lot of Christmas light people and they all have their secret tricks to fixing these things. Some use UV setting plastic epoxies, another guy was telling me about these thermo plastic beads that they use. I'll probably look into something in the off season, the snowman would look terrible with a hole for a nose😂
Have things staked down different ways. Some are staked with wooden stakes with a screw though it, some are held against a metal stake with metal strapping. I will be making another video of my Christmas display this year, so maybe I'll put more focus on how I actually set it up.
I love your house!! It reminds me of good memories with what your dad did!! I love driving home and seeing such good lights!! Good job ❤❤
Thanks Kelly!
Well done , looks great Sarge 🎄 haha "eyes up here" 🤣🤣
Thank you!
Awesome display! Love it!
Thank you
Looks awesome! Now you need a security guard to watch over the collection:)
I just roll the dice, but that's like 3 - 5 grand worth of characters just sitting on the lawn.
Please do a video like this again for 2024 set up I loved this video
I plan on it. I've added a few pieces this year, and I have a couple of other ideas to bring the display to the next level. I'm excited.
@ nice I’m looking forward to watching the video

How do you stake down your blowmolds? Could you make a video about it? I need ideas! :)

Your dad would be proud of you “Clark” 😂
I agree. My dad likes 2 things I do, canoeing and Christmas, but it's definitely not in that order lol
