There is a behind the scenes of the making of this if you’re interested. It’s not very long but is fascinating to watch. I absolutely love this! His vision for what he wants to go with his amazing music just shows the musical intelligence of the man. To me, a classically trained pianist who, performed in public and thought that I had some musical talent, he has shown me that I have nothing compared to him, and I’m here for it (and I’m a. 64 yr old mum from Australia). Just amazes me every time!

The blue butterflie Inow I had the drive to dive deeper. I knew that a blue butterflie, like al blue birdn, somehow stands for hope but the in the follwoing text stands also, that eyspezial the blue butterflies often stands for angels descendeat to earth, to give us humans hope. Because theire are blue like teh sky. It fits with the lyrics, because he said, "the angels died" the blue butterlfies lighting the place and at the same time died. Their are a sacrificial meaning taht also singals, hope through thhis sacrifieces. How many fighst not the wars for the rich peookle I mean the fighst for freedom, for creaitivy for individuality, had sacrifices? If we look in the history, sadly, all of them. Not always tthough death, but theire war always fightes and sweet souls, that sufferd for human rights, for healthcare for all for freedom an justice. Ans its no simple path, because we all are human who do wrong things. You might have been reminded of the painting they used in the Justice League movie: Paradise Lost - The Fall of the Rebel Angels. Good analysis of the video. I think he draws also a bit into Warhammer 40.000 lore, or at least it gives a lot of 40kish vibes to me. The scene in the desert town feels more like Star Gate to me.
I really like the video (and the music of course) I'm not an expert on the subject but I think the continuity of the video is broken by one element, in this case it's the jacket he's wearing. A clear example is that before being pushed to be crucified he's wearing his full clothes and when he appears in the air he's no longer wearing the clothes on top. Still, it's a great video.
As I said, I was going to recommend this video due to its high cinematic production value and the fact it is literally the prequel to the previous Falling in Reverse video you did, "Watch the World Burn". It also feeds into the odd desert related esoteric apocalyptic vibe we both seem to have tuned into since Madonna's "Frozen". Allow me to explain. Let's go with the most common symbol between the two videos and dozens of others, the desert as a place of spiritual ordeal. In one of the interviews about "Frozen", Madonna spoke of the desert being a magical place and asked if the interviewer felt it. Madonna at this time was studying Kabbalah. In Kabbalistic lore one envisions the vast gap between the material realms and lower spiritual realms around the material and the higher realms where divinity resides as a great desert named Da'at (or Da'ath which is the spelling I prefer). This gap is said to be a result of the fallen state of our world being disconnected to the divine realms. It is even said that the desert was once the Garden of Eden where the gods and angels mingled with the souls of wise humans but a great sin destroyed it. However given this story predates the water Nicean Council canon Adam and Eve and Apple story, the sin isn't from a mortal source but a divine one. Buckle in, we're driving deep into early pre-Kabbalistic and Gnostic lore. In the apocryphic gospels including the Books of Enoch, Gospel of Judas, Apoctyphia of John, and Book of Giants, plus the Judaic Zohar, a fallen god/archangel defies the actual God and claims the rulership of the material world. In most cases this fallen being then claims to be the true God and demands worship from humanity. He is accompanied by fellow fallen angels refered to as Grigori/Watchers or Archons depending on the source. Being fallen and thus cut off from the divine source, these beings can only feed off humanity to sustain and all human institutions of rulership secretly serve them in this goal. What's important to this video however is the human/fallen angel hybrids commonly known as nephilim. The nephilim are described as the demigods and heros of the past myths. They are material beings with great strength and magical power. Gilgamesh of the Epic of Gilgamesh is explicitly listed as one in the Book of Giants. The modern interpretation of these beings is that of superheroes and supervillains, which was the ascetic theme of "Watch the World Burn". Nephilim are a human-fallen angel hybrid. While the more modern translations of this process portray their creation as the angel seizing and "taking" women they find in a standard form of conception, the texts in the fragments of the Book of Giants uses terminology closer to that of genetic engineering. Thus the women in the video are ones harvested as breeding cattle for new nephilim. Their fetuses are extracted by the machine and it's rather darkly hinted in the earlier texts human women didn't survive the process of birthing a nephilim. The act of covering women in Abrahamic religions such as Islam and Orthodox Judaism is commanded in their texts for the purposes of "their beauty not attracting the attention of angels". A holdover from the antediluvian era when an attractive woman could be seized for the archon's breeding proposes. Also, in an era where the bodily autonomy of women is being legislated away by people intent on reducing them to breeders dependent on men to survive, this symbolism is on point. Especially considering many conspiracy theorists believe human systems of control were founded the the archons. Nephilim were intended by the fallen to rule the material world and humanity in the fallen's name. Given the nephilim were an unnatural mix of human and divine essence born into a fallen state, nephilim were usually highly unstable and had terrible habits such as eating humans. Not that the fallen cared what the nephilim did to the human cattle so long as they kept them in line. However in some sources some nephilim rejected their masters and attained divine grace but not divine nature. So, to the video. The era being depicted here in the Star Wars/Dune ascetic is what is refered to as the antediluvian era where the fallen ruled over humanity in a great civilization. Think Dark Side Atlantis. Antediluvian translates as "before the flood" and it means their wicked civilization that was wiped from the world in the myth of Noah's Ark. While the Bible just kind of skips over describing this civilization, the Zohar goes into a bit more detail with the depravity and horror the fallen inflicted on their human subjects. The story is being told in a non-linear fashion but this is what I pieced together with environmental storytelling elements. So, from the top. In the video Ronnie's character is crowned king over a portion of the world by his archonic forefathers. At this point, the charcater is unaware that he is in fact one of the baddies and the awful truth of his nature is unknown to him. Then while delving deep into the castle, he discovers the awful truth of his origins. Then he goes into the marketplace and preaches rebellion, the archons discover this and publicly execute him. The catastrophy commonly known as the Flood but is described in older text as massive natural disasters coming from the sky and earth as well as the sea occurs and casts down the archonic civilization. Here is where a fundamental characteristic of the nephilim comes into play. As beings neither fully human or divine, nephilic spirits are immortal but cannot enter into the Celestial or the Underworld realms. Instead Ronnie's spirit falls into Da'ath instead, the now ruined realm between worlds. Now post Flood, it's a wasteland. Here divine guidance in the form of a pillar of flame-like radiance leads him to a remnant of the antediluvian world where a suit of power awaits him. His inheritance as one of the last surviving of the archonic bloodlines. Thus we move into "Watch the World Burn" where he destroys the archonic corrupted material world and the false institutions of worship as predicted in the various apocalyptic texts. So how much of this conscious or subconscious inspiration for the video? I can't tell you. I can tell I started following Falling in Reverse when they showed infulence from the Left Hand Path of Infernal enlightenment in their works years ago. Many LHP practioners use a form of Kabbalah that utilizes the Qlippoth instead of the Tree of Life that still contains the concept of Da'ath, just as Madonna learned of Da'ath from the Right Hand Path version. Also, a number of LHP traditions claim to use redeemed nephilim as spiritual teachers. The story might be 4000+ years old but the players within are said to be immortal... P.S. Ronnie crushing the somewhat mechanical skull underfoot I believe is an inversion of the human skull crushed by a Terminator in the opening of Terminator 2.
Not valkeries, its angel and demons. there is more "Star Gate" inspiration taken as i see. also he is not ruler or king there, he is like a god for them, they like copiying his moves during the walk, they're like worship to him as the Deity.also when he tels the speech, he is like opening their minds, he excactly sings about it. so the lyrics and video are connected
