2024.10.27 - Workbench of Transformation

According to the Oxford Dictionary, the term “workbench” means “a flat table or surface which carpentry or practical work is done”. How fitting, as we come to the realization that the specialized workbench of the altar of the Old Testament (the foreshadowing) is now a renewed workbench (the reality) made of flesh (that is our hearts). We continue to bring sacrifices and offerings on this renewed altar, and may I say the master carpenter (Jesus) remains at work… and is getting some practical (much needed with meaningful results) spiritual work done. Instead of wood, metals or other things being transformed, we ourselves are being transformed from glory, to glory, to glory! Blessings, Pastor Kornel
