I have noticed that Rudy’s Jeep hangs with the banana and Morvair and often is the one called to help them out. Never seen Paul need to get pulled out in the Yota :)
The bonus is there's a part store at the end as long as you aren't alone (and that's a horrible idea) someone can make a parts run if you can limp into town you can fix it in the motel parking lot
Michelle, thanks for putting in work to get all of the great outside footage on this trip! And i have to give it to Matt's wife...she stayed in the Morrvair for virtually every obstacle on the trail! haha :) Y'all are awesome!
Always love it when you and Matt go wheeling together, its like double the footage. Looks like you guys had an awesome time with just a few repairs here and there..

Agreed, I love lj,s but they're crazy expensive to wheel so stretching a yj or for me a tj is way more possible! Hopefully someone starts a diy kit to do so. Haven't seen one yet

There is an unappreciated level of automotive knowledge when, in the middle of a technical climb, the driver hears “psssshh” and immediately knows, “that’s the beginning of the end for the AC”
Several times I nearly had to look away when it came to both the Morrvair and Paul, thank goodness nothing to catastrophic happened. Also Matt nearly blinding up with that no shirt appearance 20:38, all in all thank you for taking us along with you. It's a real testament to both your driving and engineering with how well the truck held up.
By far a great video. Really enjoyed this one ! Between Paul’s and Matt’s families I feel like I’ve known them all my life. Thanks for taking us along Paul!
Your videos are so incredibly enjoyable! I was happy that this one was as long as it was as the smiles kept coming. Great trip and amazing build and driving skills is each of those vehicles.
I have watched several hundred videos from Matt's Off Road Recovery and Fab Rats, and I think the most reliable and dependable team is Rudy and his Jeep. In all the videos you see in the background that vehicle and Rudy. I would ride with him any day!! e.
n the years of multiple camp sites. We carry as little as needed Reminded me of when we packed the XJ full to much extra weight, No more ice needed we have electric fridge/freezer. No more air mattresses, Cots now way more comfy. My wife watch's them shows as well lol. Awesome trip you all did great
Arrived at Harrahs at 4am this morning after having replaced an alternator in Indiana on the turnpike, trailer tires in salt lake city friday afternoon and having to get my 2012 RAM 6.7 towed to Wendiver, Utah after it destroyed a unit bearing and that set us back 11 hours but the Jeep is perfect and 3,000 in repairs on the tow pig got us here to hit the Rubicon tomorrow morning!
I love these videos filmed by Michelle. She is so full of energy, excitement, and joy. I love her comments. They are so down to earth. It was such a family moment watching Paul and the boys eat the sunflower seeds. What a great couple you make.
Michelle your very good content and great attitude sure make Paul a lucky man. Your kids will appreciate these outings more as they get older. I liked Matt's, I really liked yours!
Sharon, if you liked it, there are guide services who will take you through it. As I’ve passed them, all looked like they were having a Bucket List item checked off with smiles.
Three-legged Rudy gets the clunk, bang, spin award. Ya know, for a Toyota, manual transmission, crew cab, and 35's, that Paul can wheel almost any object. Nice transfer case upgrade too!
Big props to Paul for being able to do all that wheeling with a manual. Thinking back to learning how to just start a manual uphill, to say nothing of crawling over obstacles, just impressive.
Love the clean content and wholesome family life you guys have. May the Lord continue to bless you with all you need to survive and thrive! Bless you fab rats. P.s. The shirt is amazing!and the hat. My new fav's to where. Good choice in material.
In a fit of frustration after sleeping on an uncomfortable regular mattress, I bought an air mattress for my house and threw my coil spring out while I shopped for a replacement memory foam mattress. The air mattress was such a relief after my old coil spring I slept on it for about six months, never needed to pump it up once! I think that was the one air mattress in the entire universe that held air LOL
I've had the same air mattress in my camping gear the last 6 year's and it holds air the entire summer 2 weeks at a time before we move to another site for another 2 weeks it's just a walmart special my dog even gets to sleep on it when it's raining
I'm sure I'm not the only one watching this and feeling their muscles tensing (bracing for the bumps, thumps, bashes & crashes), and their pulse quicken. Sure is fun to watch!!
Looks like You guys had a GREAT trip!! Making me think we need to go ASAP, Its been 21 years since the last trip! Good group of people it seems that went. Long road trip though for you all! Thanks for the great footage & laughs!!🙂🙂🙂
I really enjoyed your video of this great trip your family took. Everyone looked to have a great time and worked very well together, what a great family and group of friends. There are so many things about the videos I enjoyed, but my favorite is that your mic picked up so many of the hits and bumps! That was a lot of fun! Thanks again!!
I've had a similar unit on my service truck for 15 years and that 1 on my trail rig for a few years now they've definitely improved over the years and much easier to install
Nice filming, Michele! Captured the adventure very well. Love the Taco. What a great sport and support vehicle. But Rudy's XJ is pretty amazing for what it is and what it did on this trip! Great work guys. One of your best.

I love the twilight films 👌 it looks awesome there. I'm in the UK and I've always wanted to come to America and do the rubicon along with a few other quests. Brilliant content and Brilliant filming 🎥👌
I like how Rudy's Jeep is just adequate for this, and he goes full "hold my Mountain Dew" with every obstacle.
I have noticed that Rudy’s Jeep hangs with the banana and Morvair and often is the one called to help them out. Never seen Paul need to get pulled out in the Yota :)
Paul's not afraid to give 'er, either.
The reason it looks like Rudy is having a hold-my-beer moment on every obstacle, is because he must hold his wide-open to get past said obstacles.
What's amazing is everyone was able to drive their vehicles home after this.
Spoiler alert.
The bonus is there's a part store at the end as long as you aren't alone (and that's a horrible idea) someone can make a parts run if you can limp into town you can fix it in the motel parking lot
After the welding was finished, I was waiting for Matt to touch the metal...again
Michelle, you capture so much in your videos. It's almost like you're telling us a story. Thank you. You do a great job!

Great run, no major casualties, beautiful countryside, and good friends, thanks for the video. 👍👌
I probably enjoyed these two videos better then 90% of the content I’ve seen on UA-cam. The rubicon is on my bucket list.
Outstanding adventure! You all and MORR have the best adventures and videos. No “acting”, just being yourselves and having a good time. 👍👍👍👍👍
I cant imagine a more family oriented trip than doing some wheeling... Paul, your wife is world class!! ...y'all stay safe. keep'em comming... :)
Congratulations on completing the Rubicon Trail,it looked like a good adventure.👍👍
Happy that everyone made it home safely

That’s for sure bud. Paul’s pretty dang sharp around a vehicle it seems!! Not too much surprises him 👍
I was thinking a tire. But Paul knew what it was. Pretty funny that he instantly knew.
The AC makes an unmistakable sound because of the oil in it you can tell a wet hiss from a dry 1
Right? I caught that too. These boys have lots of experience that’s for sure
That kinda knowledge comes from breaking lots of stuff

"Horsepower Sweat"
I am 100% using that one...
Paul drives over those rocks like a Friday commuter on his way to the weekend
I think I’m more stressed watching it thru video lol
Lol , exactly. I'm having to watch in increments from the stress level!! Haha!
Cause he knows he could fix anything that might go wrong.must be nice
A great adventure! Swimming in "blue bell" water - one should just dive in instead of wading into it! Michelle's truthfulness is refreshing.
Rudy and the basic Cherokee that won’t quit
Totally! That was what stuck out to me... humble but great!
I enjoyed both versions of yours and MORR. My head aches from watching the jarring!!😜
Love Michelle's no A/C hair towards the end, that combined with the look on her face made me bust out laughing. Great video guys!
It was no laughing matter!😜 -Michelle

id love to see an episode on that for sure!!

Excellent job Michelle ! What a fun trip, next year.
17:09 😂 they didn‘t make a call so Matt never came to rescue them …
Holy crap! You can weld using your alternator (in a pinch)? That is awesome knowledge.

im still shocked Matts pants survived an adventure trip with you got to be a first
Nice filming, Michele! Captured the adventure very well. Love the Taco. What a great sport and support vehicle. But Rudy's XJ is pretty amazing for what it is and what it did on this trip! Great work guys. One of your best.
The question in my mind is, how many bags of sunflower seeds does Paul get to the mile on the Rubicon?
Paul seems to make good use of his farm jack, I’d love to see a video with his tips & tricks. Thanks for your videos!
Tip number 1 never lean over the handle
Matt, that's called a "spray bottle".
Liked how Jamie commented on how proud he was of his little “thing.”
Wow...what great video footage of everything...I used to deliver Jeeps...of course there were many Rubicons...OMG...I doubt a stock Rubicon could handle what yall want through..I had a 1977 LandCruiser back in the day...never went through any of those conditions....I love this channel. would rather watch you than any fake real TV stuff...you guys and gals ROCK.
As a girl dad (5 daughters) I took them to the midnight opening showing of all the Twilight series.
This was great.
So much entertainment In one video, cant thank you guys enough.. Ian - UK.
More bumping and grinding than a burlesque show.
That was an unbelievable trip!! The entire trail though, definitely looks 👀 like it would, it could be a head snapper! Lol back and forth. Everyone had fun, and memories the kids will carry with them all there lives.
some kind of chainsaw should be standard equipment on your rigs.
Matt's off-road recovery got its official first done and they didn't even show it on their channel I'm glad you showed it on yours
Matt's off road showed the video...
95 percent male audience but most of us are married and have been dragged into seeing those wretched movies.
Thank goodness I wasn't, even my wife can't stand em
when i first heard about that, it sounded like drugged into...
I would have preferred to be drugged into it.
I love the twilight films 👌 it looks awesome there. I'm in the UK and I've always wanted to come to America and do the rubicon along with a few other quests. Brilliant content and Brilliant filming 🎥👌
And the stubby ass Toyota did his thing, clunking along. Some of those places left me wide eyed, and you can see the angles even on camera.
Rubicon with a clutch- mad respect!!! 💪
That's a "trail?" Hate to see what they'd call just cross-country!
Great video
Looks like a lot of fun was had
Thanks for taking the time to video it all
Out
getting dragged to the girly movies is just part of being married....
Interesting to see the two different perspectives between Fab Rats & Matt's Off-Road. Looks like quite the trip.
