I always stay away from stores like Walmart in terms of sourcing for eBay. A lot of these items, at least in my experience, are worth a decent amount at the time of purchase but die down quick due to over saturation.
Only plus side is 90 day returns even without a receipt. So very little risk involved. I’ve found that it’s better to look for high value items on clearance than a bunch of low value items. The high value items not only have more profit but seem to be less saturated than the smaller stuff.
I'm listening to your video on what sells and you mention Corey Maggette. I wasn't expecting that. I've known his parents for over 15 years now. His parents are good friends of mine. I know he used to play for the Orlando Magic back in the day. If I see them tomorrow at church I will have to tell them about this video. :)
that’s cool, those were my favorite Clippers years. I use to watch most the games Darius Miles that dude was also fun to watch. Say hi to the fam for me 🫡
Wow great channel. Surprised you don't have way more subscribers. Keep it up, the format is great and extremely informative. Even if I don't try to do this, it's fun to watch and listen to while I work 😂
Sadly, by the time you notice retail items pop off like this, you've missed the boat. You need to be in-the-know and already familiar with the niche to catch such good opportunities. In addition, many Walmarts only take off 10% or so for "clearance".
For instance, those Caitlin Clark yellow boxes are going on ebay for only $35-45 today, about a month after this video was posted. Gotta move fast on those hot items!
Thank you, great information. Most of us low key resellers don’t have the opportunity to search for bolos at thrift stores but everyone has a Walmart somewhere nearby
@Fire_Edits1 I'm sure some do....but the valuble treasure hunt, and super treasure hunt cars are sought out to collect for adults. Of course your going to have your father, and son looking together. In general kids aren't looking for those or even know what they are
The new rock band novelty socks at Dollar Tree are being sold for up to 10 dollars a pair. 1.25 at Dollar Tree. So far I found Slayer, Pink Floyd and AV/DC. They sold quickly. Trader Joe’s Brazil Nut body butter only sold in summer goes super fast. Hold onto the product until Christmas and it sells out every year for me for more money.
Just looked online quickly and I'm not finding anything at my Walmart stores. My TJ Maxx ,because I'm here in California, everything is enclosed in a clear container because of theft. Much harder to research that way. But I'm enjoying it more than going to the thrift store. Thanks for all your videos!
Just hit my local wallmart: Helldivers was $35, no trucks, no back to the future, no clearance, deals, and all the good2grow was gone. The gold be not here.
Well he did say one that he sold has had a return open for 17 days. So by the time you see it in the video there’s a high chance that it’s already gone. You kind of just have to explore and scan tons of stuff.
We used to have season tickets to the Charlotte Hornets (Bobcats) when Corey Maggette played. He was sitting beside Gerald Henderson at an autograph session and my 8 year old daughter told Henderson if he asked for forgiveness God would forgive him for going to Duke 😅 Henderson was a rookie and didn’t know how to respond.
My Walmart here in New England seems to have higher prices here. I'm looking through all the video games and even with tax exemption can't find one cheap enough yet.
Hey, Do you remove price tags or the pesky Amazon return labels (the ones that start with Lpn) from packaging before you ship them out? If so what’s your best way of removing them?
Hey Jride! New to the reselling game but I'm learning a lot about shipping. At 3 minutes into the video you got a big thing of boxers -- What would you ship those in and about how much would it cost? I sent some clothing out and had issues with it. Ebay said about $4, but post office actually declined me and said it was almost $9. Which no way I'm paying. Cheers man!
Yea I wouldnt pay for postage directly at the post office. They like to tax your azz. I'd recommend printing your own labels with ebay, Pirate ship, or paypal. Anything under 1lb should cost between $3.96- $6.61
Hi I’m trying to figure out flat rate shipping (I’ve seen your video but have other questions) I’m wondering how to figure out flat rate shipping for let’s say a camera on your camera listing it’s says shipping will be $4.75 ground advantage is that a shipping policy? How do I figure out shipping costs because when search on eBay shipping calculator I get 14 Oz from Ca-NYC 8x8x8 it’s says $10 ? What do you use to figure out shipping costs ?
Genuinely anything less than a lb I charge 6.99 or 7.99, but rates have changed again so depending on location it can be more even if it's not a full lb. So just up charge. Do a flat rate of 12.99 or something. I always over estimate because it's not just the shipping they are paying for, but also handling. So whatever your cost of goods are such as envelope, Poly, label, ink, box...gas to drop off.
How do you find these deals? I work there and sometimes multiple stores in one week and always cruise by the video games and I NEVER see any for $5. You must be lucky 🍀
I about turned my blue pants into brown with the silver mickey top, i work at a convenience store and have seen over a dozen of those stocking them! Ahhhhh!
Just getting to this video 4 days later . Are many of these now past their value ? Like can I still go look these and sell this week plus have you now saturated the market ? Thanks
the reason for listing them in the store is they tank that fast ! hes using an app thats very expensive per month that alerts new items to look for. Some of these will only last a few days before the market is saturated. The socks and underwear are always a safe bet if you can get them that cheap. The run on Minecraft Cereal lasted a whopping two weeks, not one has sold since July 17 and allot of sellers are stuck still trying to off them for 30 dollars.. gotta check the solds before you jump in the fire.
Corey Maggette went to Fenwick HS in Oak Park Illinois where my dad went to school back in the late 50’s. Also dude doesn’t get enough credit for all the stuff he does for youth basketball in his post playing career.
Cory Maggette, I believe, was an NBA player who came out of Duke University. I graduated HS in 1997, and he was around my age. Good, tough player. I’m surprised a guy in his early to mid 20s would mention him - why is he on your radar?

Magette was one of 4 duke players drafted in 99. Can't remember who drafted him but he was traded for a future bulls legend Horace Grant. I only know this because I'm a 40 year old bulls fan that sells sports cards
In order to build viewers, you'd be wise to respond to your commenters. Especially those with interesting stories & relationships to people you're mentioning.
When he was at Duke for that one season you could just see he had as much potential as anyone on that team which was an amazing college team...one of the best ever not to win it all for sure. Maggette had a nice NBA career to put it mildly. Loved watching him as a Clipper all those years and growing up a Bucks fan it was nice he had a season in Milwaukee towards the end of his career. Tremendous athleticism especially in his younger days but just a consistent guy who got buckets
My only claim to fame is I was dunked on by Corey Maggette. He played HS balll in Oak Park, IL and I played for a rival school. They also destroyed us.
I was at TJ Maxx today, was thinking about you and your videos. I wished I saw this first. Another nice video. Thank you again.

Corey Maggette was a LA Clippers with a bunch of other young players a couple decades ago.
I found the Hot Wheels skateboards, but then I looked on eBay and saw only ONE sold and lots listed. Nope.
Update: it’s been almost a month and he still hasn’t sold any hot wheels or majority of the stuff in the video
@@KevinDurantisnot shocker

Hello,Do you use a price listing app? If so which one do you use?
I’m from Chicago, I followed maggette and Quentin Richardson when they were in HS in 97&98.
