- The Japanese Ramen scene in Seoul South Korea is incredible! Went to four ramen noodle shops and each one of them blew my mind in its own way! Especially the Chicken broth ramen, one of the BEST I've ever had!

Those donuts are actually a lot moister than they appear. Like I was expecting them to be dry like most cake donuts but nah
i think it needs tea because it's very sweet dessert, also red bean with green tea is a classic combo in asian tea culture.

Food scene in Korea is exploding, not just for Korean food but also others like Italian, Japanese, Chinese, etc. I've had damn good Mexican food in Seoul.

I’ve never had a raw egg but Mikey makes everything looks good.
I grew up w basic food menu, and thought it was 😷... but when I tried raw egg.. WOW

@@nikhilsrl it depends on if you're willing ro shell out the money for the really high quality eggs.
Definitely don't try eating the el cheapo Wally World eggs raw.
But the $5-8 per dozen organic, free range eggs are definitely worth the money if you're wanting to eat them super lightly cooked or raw.
If you happen to have a neighbor who raises chickens or farmers market where you can get eggs, those are generally pretty worthwhile too.
@@Gripfang also the US has salmonella issues with raw eggs. It's not an issue with the chickens in many others countries, like japan. Would not advise eating any raw eggs in the US. You'd probably be ok, but there's always a chance that it could give you salmonella there

Mikey, wow oh wow. You hit a landmine on those ramen finds. I take your word for it that they're ultra delicious because they really look good on TV. I am so desperate to go to Korea right now. Cebu Pacific is selling round trip tickets from Philippines to Seoul for only $45 and I just couldn't buy it because of the Covid situation. The way you marveled at those dishes reminded me of your food adventure in the Philippines. I just know it when you really love the food.
As usual, I'm getting some noodles and dumplings ready, so I can eat and watch. Are we all nuts, that we love to watch Mikey slurp up noodles. Ever since I've found this channel, I've been hitting up my Korean grocery and just going nuts buying stuff. They sell all kinds of fresh noodles along all the other fixings needed. Yum, yum, yum. I can't wait until your hot sauce come out, so I can enjoy my dishes even more!

That yuzu ramen place looks so similar to Afuri ramen, both in how they plate and the utensils. Afuri has a very distinctive spoon and it's the same one here. Very interesting!!
