I remember watching the show here in New Zealand. I've only seen the first two seasons. I thought that all it went for till years later when i learn that it went for five seasons. Plus i wrote to Paul back in 95 to let him know that i was a fan of the show and told him a bit about my self and where i'm from. I was shock three months after posting my letter i received a large envelope in my letter box. when i saw it was from Canada i open it to see a letter and a autograph photo of Paul wearing Mountie suite. I was shock. He was the first actor that reply back to me and send autograph photo. I've written to many actors over the years and didn't get one reply back till that day that Paul reply to my letter. and yes i still got his autograph photo today. Thank you Paul Gross.
I love this! Wish I could have gone... what impresses me is that he LISTENED, and took the time to answer the questions properly - not a simple "yes" or "no" and move on. He answered with anecdotes, stories and personal experience. He was genuine, engaged and FUNNY!! Makes me love the guy even more!
Mr Gross comes over as a really nice guy and a fantastic raconteur. I rediscovered "Due South" recently. I had forgotten how brilliant it was. I also discovered the equally brilliant "Slings and Arrows". I wish Paul had stayed in the UK with or without his butter knife. Canada is lucky to have him!
Livvy Munro I think it was typical of Paul's self deprecation when he mentioned in passing that he would love to play at the Royal National Theatre in London but they had enough good British actors without having to employ him. How many big American stars would take that attitude, rather than consider themselves God's gift to the theatre-going public?
Ironically, after surfing through “Netflix,” and not finding anything really suitable to watch, I landed back onto “Due South” and rewatched all 4 seasons, 28 years after it first debuted.
Thank you for filming this and sharing it here, I live in China and can never attend the meetups. Due South is my all time favorite show and it's great to be able to feel like I can take part.
Raised on this show. Watched it with my mom, watched it again when it was on Showcase, watched it again when I found it for download, watched it AGAIN when I managed to snag the DVDs properly. Constantly sending clips to my friends.
Introduced Due South to my kids with the DVD set about 10 years ago, they are still hooked and they all love Constable Frasier, Ray and Dief. You know its special with this sort of thing. Will attend in person one day. Thanks for posting!
Absolutely amazing TV, nothing comes close to be honest, the cast, crew, music all involved made quality viewing, that's why when we watch it in 2021 it holds it's own. Thank you to Sony channel for showing these again, especially in lock down. To Paul, David, all the cast, Jay Semko and others for the great music, the producers, directors thank you kindly xxxx Yorkshire UK
I was at this con and now I'm rewatching this panel on the one year anniversary of the 25th Anniversary con. Love to the con comm for making this happen, and thank you kindly for uploading videos of the con panels.
I've been a fan of Due South since it first came out on TV in the U.S. I've been watching episodes on UA-cam to brush up lol This video was on the autoplay,so awesome to see this panel with Paul!
So right about the binge/marathoning culture. I actually watch shows once a week even when they're all released at the same time because I enjoy savoring each episode!
I still remember the first time I watched Due South: Fraser fell out the back of a moving van but quickly got up. It was at that moment I realized this is a different Show
Paul you are my cutie, as handsome as ever after all these years. Watched you as a kid in Iceland. Recorded you and then accidentally found a couple of tapes and started watching them recently. Wanted more so I found you on UA-cam, which has everything. Even my big love, Diefenbaker. Love you all, also the annoying detective Vecchio. A great trio.
I am so disappointed in myself that I missed this. I would have given a kidney and my right arm to have attended this. I have been a "Due South" ambassador while I was living in Asia. I basically force-fed my friends and colleagues this show at every chance I had.
And with a beard......yum. Why do beards make hot men even hotter? i am in the middle of a re-run of Due South and i couldn't help myself but click on this. It has made me wish they'd do another Due South with all of the actor as they are now. I know i'd watch it.
I enjoyed most of the interview. I didn't care too much for them laughing about the dog that got hurt by the big cat. Dogs can feel pain but they don't show it like we do unless it's really bad. If a big cat grabbed your hand and just about bit it off I doubt you would laugh about it and I would hope no one else would laugh about it, either. We shouldn't have our pets anywhere near danger or let them run loose where they can get hit, lost, or stolen.
I watch docs on netflix. I didn't know you wrote that curling movie. I liked it. Ozark I felt was too intense and diabolical also a bit camp in it's horror.nanny booking grandson age made me ill. Batsout scales not like

It can't be easy sitting in front of all these people and reveal yourself and accept the praise they pour onto with humility and self deprecation.

Wow. amazing talk. This show got me through alot in the 90s when I was a kid in UK. Great to finally get round to watching this talk.
Raised on this show. Watched it with my mom, watched it again when it was on Showcase, watched it again when I found it for download, watched it AGAIN when I managed to snag the DVDs properly. Constantly sending clips to my friends.

The love for DUE SOUTH still lives all around the world, long live the greatest show ever. Especially in the UK. 😎💎😎💎🙏❤🇬🇧🇬🇧❤🙏
I first binge watched Due South in the Northern Territory, Australia in 1992. I still love this show.
The theme song makes my heart skip a beat.
That's quite an achievement; you managed to binge watch a show 2 years before they starting making it.
@@Mat_Rural you are right it was '96
Rewatching about two weeks after the two-year anniversary of the con. Continuing love to the con comm!
Paul dropping some serious knowledge on the television landscape that likely went over most people's heads.
I love the show 😍🤩😍 I love him and All of his projects and work 😍😂😆😍. I would have loved to see them make a reunion movie.
Wish I had known about this years ago. Hopefully the next get together with Paul Gross I can be present. What an honour! Can’t wait! ❤️
Я рос на этом сериале, и от части учился манерам у него. Великолепный актёр!!! Спасибо за сериал-Строго на юг. Вы сыграли роль в моей жизни!!!
Wish theyd do a reunion tele-movie.
Due South began the year I was born and I just found it here on UA-cam and binge watched it. I love it.
Does this man have sons?
I like how he meets people on the same level. Seems like a nice man. Handsome as fuck also.

Very funny stuff! Classic Paul Gross.
Time to fire up the DVD player to watch Due South again. Glad I invested.
Too bad it is not streaming. New fans could still be recruited!
I wanna attend when things open up!

I am so disappointed in myself that I missed this. I would have given a kidney and my right arm to have attended this. I have been a "Due South" ambassador while I was living in Asia. I basically force-fed my friends and colleagues this show at every chance I had.

What a nice guy. Wish he'd come over and do something in England. Preferably, not Oliver.
The movies are awful. I haven't seen one that's as good as Slings and Arrows for decades.
