Hi Cat, I love your work and enjoy your tutorials very much. You have a wonderful teaching style, and it's especially helpful to hear your thought process as you put the collage together. Bravo! Thank you!
Dearest Cat...Please allow me to reiterate how much I appreciate your sharing your mindset on how to approach collage assembly. It helps me immensely. Thanks a bunch❤
@@catrains.artist no not live on the Tuesday, I live in New zealand and so far I haven't been able to work out the time over here, it would be a Wednesday but I think it would be early hours of the morning but I keep an eye out on your channel and normally catch them pretty quick.
@@donnaalley4908 Do you get my newsletter? I share a time zone converter there every week to make it a tad easier to join live. I'm touched that you want to be there with us!
Your teaching style is excellent! Your design style is also gorgeous. You've inspired me a great deal. May I ask what you use for your table surface cover?
Love this series which has prompted me to do some that would be related to each other. Thank you I appreciate all your videos, even if I cant find the one that I wanted , (which was the black and white pen drawing series)., 9th July, 2024.
Hello! So happy that you're enjoying the series! I have two video that I do doodles in with pens, perhaps you mean those? Part one: ua-cam.com/video/W5MjZbKKJN0/v-deo.html Part two: ua-cam.com/video/lR2WeOpiw-Q/v-deo.html
Thank you Cat for sharing how to collage these beautiful papers, it really helps having new ideas. Do you use copies or your originals for collaging ?? Thank you. 💖🙏
Thanks for the love on my videos Evelyne. Since I create so many collage papers, I don't need to be precious about them in terms of saving my faves. I know that I'll make more to replace those that I use, so I use as much as I can to make room for new ones. I have used copies of a very select few like letters from both my parents that have often made it into my collages, and a couple favorite magazine pieces that I only have one of.
So glad that you enjoyed watching my process. The thin circles are templates that I include in two of my classes, COLLAGE JOY (opens again i January) and my newest class COLLAGE KEEPSAKE that starts September 26th.
Collage Joy will be basically the same as when you took it, although I'm adding a few missing things that students suggested from when you took it, and live art critique sessions via zoom. I am offering an alumni rate if you want to go through the course again with the new class, which will have a separate FaceBook group for new students. However you have lifetime access, which means you will see all the new content when its added in January.
Für Anfänger ist es schön, zu sehen, dass man Collage machen kann ohne etwas zu kaufen
I'm glad that you found this helpful. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks so very much for the kind words about my demos. My table surface is just a wooden MDF board painted white.

Absolutely beautiful! I love this! Thank you for sharing! How did you make the thin white circle piece? ❤

How different will the new Collage Joy be from the last one..New projects?

Sorry I missed the live yesterday. Was at the lab giving blood 👍
Good excuse😉! You were missed.
I really like your videos but your microphone is too close to your mouth and I can hear you breathing, which is distracting to your information!
I didn't realize that was the case. Thanks for pointing it out. I'll look into this.
