I have to say that I've watched some well-crafted class guides from other prominent UA-camrs such as Dalarangaming and Preachgaming, and I have to say that I enjoy your presentation far more. Keep up the great work please. I'd love to see more of these going into BFA, even if they're just relegated to Priest builds only I'd be fine with that.
Hey! Great video. Couple things that I've noticed on 20+ keys: If you can CC mobs somehow you should be using speuz always. Its straightforward best boost to ur haste in bad situations, or boost to our dps with aoe trinkets (especially Terminus Signalig beacon). Trinkets: Stat Stick are good! if you done need extra dps on mobs and dont need extra shield to prevent one-shot, stat stick can help you push healing. Explosive: you can 1 shot orbs with your solace :) I am always using it on this affix. Sactuary can be used on necrotic. It is very good when bosses do last for longer period of time and they gain huge ammount of stacks. Our healing is uselees but Psurpress and sacntuary are not :) Girevous/ bursting If you dont feel like you gonna make it just do triage :) save only yourself and 1/2 targets, you can ress someone who died several seconds later. Good job man ,
My dude I hope you get a lot of exposure sometime soon cause your quality of content is really really good! I envy your skills in terms of editing and knowledge when it comes to the Priest. I just started a Priest myself to try out and went for the Disc Priest spec, and to be honest it is a lot of fun to me. I am very new to WoW and I started with Healers as I always try to fill in roles that no one wants to take and these are often either Tanks or Healers. I plan on buying Legion+ BFA soon as soon as my paycheck hits and try to level and get into end game content with the Priest I started. Also keep up the great content and as already said, I hope you find some good amount of exposure as your Videos are well made. The only thing I would suggest when explaining in a guide about a class when it comes to skill is to use the icon of spells, as some people recognize the spell more by it's icon instead of name. P.S The first character that I mained was the Mistweaver Monk and I really enjoyed him too.
Really great video. And very clearly and nicely explained. Hope to see more nice guides and videos like this. You have a great potential which lets some well known wow youtubers look pale! Keep it up and maybe you can even go into raiding guides as well? All the best!
Awesome content! I wish I’d rolled disc priest in the beginning of legion rather than holy pally...I’ve played H pally or resto Druid since wrath with the exception of resto shaman in MoP. I did enjoy pally but got a little burnt out on it after nighthold. After quickly getting bored on resto shaman in 7.2, I decided to try disc and I quickly decided I’d found a new healer main! I wish I’d seen this video months ago though as I really struggled with grievous and bursting to the point I just skipped those weeks...never crossed my mind to take shadow covenant. Gonna play around with that in the time we have left until BfA. This is probably TLDR at this point but I do really want to thank you for such a great video. I have a feeling we’re gonna see a ton of disc priests in BfA...hopefully not to the point where Blizzard has to nerf us into the ground because it’s the only class people want in M+
Nice guide! Question about stats: what about intellect? I think that recommendation would be to first equip your highest ilvl gear and then worry about stats.. is that the case here as well? E.g. you might have some haste gear but with (way) lower ilvl than some mastery gear, but you'd gain a lot intellect instead.
Nice Video! Nice overview! I am also playing disc for a while, resto druid and holy paladin on high keys - but I get bored with them so I try to heal with disc, cause it's really hard and fun! I trying to find best stats priority and you're saying mastery is worth less. I guess we are healing a lot of time over atonement and just in dangerous situations with our direct heal. So I am thinking about playing with more mastery than Vers maybe same as crit. I am just not sure what's performing better, but I have not the mastery gear yet to try. Could you explain why mastery is less worth than other in detail? www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/nvXdabCcTBfDAy46#fight=5&type=summary&source=3 This is by far the highest amount of hps on a 25 dht key a disc have done. (knowing hps is not all, but it's hard to measure good healers) So as you can see on summary crit haste mastery are all nearly the same, round about 12-13k. I guess it's worth bringing more mastery.
why make a video on how to do disc in dungeons if your M+ score is so low? what makes you think you know a lot, and should tell other people how to do this? you dont even do high keys.
Do you stream?
Your video has helped me tremendously. I went from +7 to +16 in a matter of a week or two. Keep them coming
Thanks for the video. No matter it's late or not still keep us motivated.
Super informative video for a new player trying to learn disc, thanks
