What's Your opinion and memories about those two, and comment on Serbian activities against those two at a time ('90.ies), and US support to the creation of the two new, muslim countries, in Europe...? Just wondering...And to explain, for some newer kids on the block/channel, it was some skirmish 25 yrs ago... Nothing too important for the US citizens, skip it freely... (Actually , why not mention this - Serbia, during '90-ies fought against a radical islamist on its own territory, and nearby regions were majority of Serbs living, but Serbs were under pressure from the above mentioned coalition (US with Clinton's, Holbrook, Brits..) . After some time, they got international help, US, and Mujahedin help to both Muslim areas, and situation changed, so finally - look at Wikipedia titles: Bosnia, Kosovo, bombing of Yugoslavia, by NATO 19 countries, and they did NOT finally took over Serbia (as Iraq), just small part of it called Kosovo... long story short - Please Your opinion!? (P.S. - Note - Personally I don't have anything against Muslims, still a lot of good friends between them, as I am Christian, but any radical opinion and attitude bothers me... And I need to mention that I was a participant, in those few skirmishes '90.ies). Regards

Great interview, I could listen to stories like this all day long and it would seem like only minutes, there is so much that happens that John Q Public have no idea about, and the bravery and ginormous balls these guys have they must need wheel barrows to haul them around.

I’m a 22 year old woman and I’m training to become a U.S. Navy SEAL. I’m a civilian and I want to go enlisted. I know five other women that are training for BUD/S, one of them is in BUD/S Prep right now.
What advice would you give for women that want to be SEALs? How does the SEAL community feel about women joining them? Do you think women should be allowed to become Navy SEALs?
Most female SEAL candidates struggle with carrying the boats and logs, doing pull ups, having grip strength and completing the “Dirty Name” on the obstacle course.
Also, a lot of female SEAL candidates break their legs or develop stress fractures. Women have smaller and thinner bones than men.
I was trained by Whiteboy after 8 years at 375. Definitely leveled up under him.

@@Anonymous18817man or woman your gonna have to be a freak mentally. Theres a reason why the washout is so high. Have confidence but remain humble and you’ll fit right in. Don’t over think it, everyone there is a normal human just like you. Good luck.
it’s not about being allowed, it’s just no women have succeeded. in the history of the navy seals there has never been a female operator and it’s because of reasons that you have already stated. it is important to keep in mind that even if you do complete buds, not everyone gets drafted to a team. don’t give up, stay motivated and make it happen.
@@Anonymous18817there have only been 2 women who graduated the Marine Corps Infantry Officer Course in 8 years. Both left the infantry within 2 years or less. There’s a reason for that.
A lot of women wanted IOC when I was in and it was unavailable to them. The first shitty FEX with rain and 40 degree weather for a week broke a lot of hearts. And that doesn’t include humping 60+ Lb packs for miles. It’s a mindset, and you either have it or you don’t. Physical capability plays a part but the mindset is more important.
Either way, I never gave a shit if a woman was there or not. Pull your weight, be dependable, and don’t weigh the team down and you’ll be treated as an equal. You’ve got a big hill to climb. Good Luck.
I love this support in these responses and wish I could send these to anyone that has at least, the old school “it’s not a girls game” mentality. There’s probably a shit ton of guys in and and of the field that feel the same way. It’s awesome.
I was with Whiteboy during this time in Iraq, in Hilla...hes a solid dude

@@Anonymous18817hope you are above average...but even so it would be hard. Tbh I think the logistics in military is undervalued. A detail oriented, and someone who thinks for both the soldiers and the big picture.
Even if SEALs isn't for you. I'd do some research to find who does logistics for the elite..
Or who does the emergency response asap style logistics. And go for that.
The issue with females in combat roles (as a female) is why work in the part of the field that shows oft our weaknesses? And makes the men around us weaker.
Why not pick a roll that a woman could do better than men. Highly detailed organized work.

Chris looks the same way as he did in 2004 when he trained our Non-Compliant VBSS team in the ship I was on. At the end of the training. I’m 21-22 years old at the time, as we finish the 7-week training course, I said I appreciated the training and so forth… Chris replies, “Well, unfortunately one of you guys will be shot up before the Navy takes this training seriously.” 😮 It was a great experience!
This Chris is brilliant. What a bloody legacy. Totally entertaining

What did he mean when he said, "All this Audie Murphy type bulshit?" Audie Murphy, to me, was a war hero, and that was World War II. That was a totally different time period. Was around BW in 2005 in Mosul. Lives with them and helped save them after a couple incidents. Super not impressed. They were overly arrogant jerks until they needed us. I remember responding to an incident where one of their SUV’s got hit by an ied. When we showed up they were arguing about how many and who were in the SUV that got hit which was burnt to the ground. They couldn’t control their emotions at all. Listening to this makes sense. They ALL had the same story. E5s in the Marines with 3-6 years experience pre GWOT.

The lady killed in Hillah hated “Security guys” and used to berate us daily. She told us she was there to help the locals and didn’t need us. We were under no obligation to protect her as she was USAID, not DOS. She was killed at a fake check point with her local driver. They were shot in the back of the head and stuffed in a trunk. This is WHY as I Listen to him about YOU have to PAY out if your pocket for the other stuff that is vital for Personal protection. The same guy who told this wise operator that he needs to pay for his own Military gear, the same SUV suburban is blown up. If remember right Marcinco was BUYING gear from the civilian market place. Gear that SEAL team #6 must have. The very same higher-ups that were pissed at Richard for showing easy access to US Navy Bases. Because it effects there clime up the Navy Ladder to become an Admiral. They exploit this expense account that Marcinko was using. The command people went HARD on Richard. It messed up his operation. All Marcinko was doing was operating with this NEW SEAL Team #6 to show what Terrorist could do against the US Military. It weak points if you will. The Late great Richard Marcinko was so,so much ahead of the game when you look back at the 1980s and what he DID. It is happening in real life NOW. My Richard RIP. I will always remember him for the rest of my life, he was a warrior Operator, how had the for site to see the future of special operators.
Thank you for having this wonderful 👍 full of past story operator 😊 the guy he talked about ( Dick Lions) was a advisor for the Start of SEAL team #6. When the Late great ( Richard Marcinko) was doing the sneak and peaks of US Navy bases.
He gave Richard so much support and stopped Base Commander who got pissed off because all Marcinko was doing was showing weakness in BASE protection. To stop a Terrorist attack on US military bases. The Late Richard Marcinko talked very "HIGHLY" of Dick Lions.
Admiral James ' Ace ' Lyons kept Marcinko out of trouble in the Red Cell years .
@@kerrypope767
YES very true. He wanted Dick ( Richard M) to find Military Bases weaknesses. So many of those Bases top Brass were pissed at the SEAL team. Because in my Humble opinion it would slow their promotions.

Interesting... You Sir mentioned "living in a Muslim country when 9/11 happened..." - Bosnia today is muslim country, as Kosovo is... Regards
He doesn’t look at comments fyi
