Mind master gamer here. Bit of a personal note, but Gustos was one of the first decks I ever took "seriously" back when I was really getting into yugioh, but for some reason caams were the most expensive card in the deck supposedly cause the loop was possible despite mind master being banned still. Cathartic to finally get to loop on someone after all this time.

In my whole life of dueling (even doing the normal Mind Master OTK myself), I’ve never seen someone do Mind Master for an Exodia combo. That’s some heat right there if it’s uninterrupted.

I thought it was just substitoad with extra steps until they got to the gusto loop
This was such a fun format, I really hope MD takes notes and makes these alternative formats to play in. I don't expect it, but it'd be nice.

I remember back in 2010 when someone leaked on pojo (remember pojo?) an article from the japanese guy that invented that gusto mind master ftk, people at our locals were hyping it like crazy since it would be the first time they would live to see a playable exodia variant
sadly mind master was preemptively banned back then, but the memories of me and my friends theorycrafting is something i'll keep with me forever
That dragunity loaner player should’ve used scrap dragon on ravine and face down, malefic stardust protects ravine. I learned about that during the event and had a blast dismantling enemy boards when I could manage it

Goyo being post errata means only Six Sams can realistically play it. Which is kind of disgusting when you remember they also have 3 Gateway to work with.
