I was starting to get why people would be tired of Snake-Eye. That game against Labrynth made me understand why people HATE Snake-Eye.
Literally. Even when you stop the deck it just starts all over again like you didn’t do anything. There was no type of panic whatsoever in the duel.
yet people will still go on about how much they hate lab when it isn't an issue anymore, they're just mad it beats their pet decks
@@LilyApus Unless you're playing Meta Lab is just as annoying as Snake Eyes the only difference is that Lab doesn't have infinite recursion. But they play shit like virus which will simply completely kill your deck. Snake eyes is annoying because of its infinite spin back and resource looping but I'd rather have that then deal with lab that just locks you out of playing the game completely by just being able to freely set virus cards

It’s just so crazy the stuff this deck is allowed to get away with. Even if you beat one strategy you literally can just start up a brand new one on the spot. It’s like dueling two players at once.
As someone who had a lot of fun building jank decks, it kinda just comes with multiple archetype decks: you beat one deck, now beat my other deck that synergizes with it, fool!
But here one of those decks is Snake-Eyes so its always going to take a lot to beat both halves.

Honestly, I know exactly what you are talking about.
I have an orcust + tear + punk deck (or as I call it "Tears of mechanical punks" )
And it is literally just stuffing 3 different deck together.
Dröl tends to beat the hybrids and that’s largely true of this one.
Normal snash, add poplar, droll them, now you just have to deal with whatever they can make off of flamberge+ 4 remaining cards in hand (if they’re on hybrid builds, not much).
A second handtrap nearly ensures they’re ending on nothing. Crow when they only have 2 level 1 snake-eyes in grave, ash snash activation sending snash and poplar. It puts them hard on “better have drawn: temple, OSS, or Diabellestar or else you lose the game”.

And people wonder why I mostly just play pet decks with friends rather than try Ranked. I said it with Tear, I’ll say it again as many times as I need to - seeing one deck so far above the power level of the rest of the game that it drowns out anything else gets boring FAST.
Haven't even watched it and I already can guess exactly what this will entail.
My favorite part was MBT questioning whether he was still in this facing down a Labyrinth player who already used up most of their interaction while he's still going through Diabellstar Snake-Eye lines and still has the entire Fire King half of his deck left to go through with Sanctuary in hand. Was it ever really a question?
I don't normally like snake-eye fire king, however watching this provided an extreme amount of catharsis as I was able to see a labyrnth player suffer.

Man, this vid has singlehandedly confirmed my decision to uninstall this game when Snake eyes first dropped. Hopefully they get nuked and not just replaced.

We know we invested a lot of time in our pet decks when we get upset by our opponents having combo and fumbling in between - you with HERO, me with Magikey, you either do a RedMage or you play simple.

6:49 - ...Or almost *ANY* Elemental HERO Fusion monster in the goddamn game. ...To be fair though, there *_ARE_* E-HERO Fusion monsters that can be summoned again when they leave the field. ...It's just that literally *ALL* of them are the terrible Neos Fusion monsters that require you to shuffle cards from the field into the deck to summon them. (Flare Neos -Air Neos,- Storm Neos, etc. that no sane person plays. Or if they do, they use cards that ignore their summon condition.)

If Master Duel consistently offered alternative formats I feel like a lot more players would come to the game and enjoy it. Instead, they do this dumb shit where they have 1-2 week-long events and there's more downtime than uptime to them. JUST LET US PLAY GOAT AND EDISON PLEASE. I'm probably trash, but I've actually been enjoying Tri-FK and Pure FK more than SEFK. Between the Snake Eyes limits and Ulcanix being around I think they're solid.
I know that Lab game shows how insane FKSE is...but holy crap that was so fun to watch it manage to get through Lab.
I was able to win against a snake eye lord but it was just a fluck, I needed to time an evenly match to get rid of princess and and some fire kings then Daruma when the monster zones where full next turn. What a bastard deck. I was playing a janky sword soul deck.
What I found working for me as of late if I go second is using a very old card in soul release and just sending princess and whatever fire crap they need away.
Don't worry we limited ash and wanted. Anyway here are all the fire king cards so the hits don't matter at all.
Konami R&D are as much of potato's as WotC's used to be pre pandemic and currently are now. The big bad japan corp doesnt care until NA stops being their cash cow for the TCG and attendance numbers plummet into hell.

the cooclock special summon was a big welcome target so not a misplay. However there might have been better traps to set, but it's a hard call to make given they can't see mbt's hand.
So the biggest enemy is... time limit?

Wait, any reason why Pure Snake Eyes below FK and Rescue Ace? Due to Maxx C vs TCG?
Master Duel has already hit Snake eyes multiple times, so the pure deck is more inconsistent and runs out of gas faster than in the tcg.
Pure Snake Eye was not that much better than rescue ace because of that before the fire king cards came out.
The fire king varient on the other hand can just throw other cards into the deck to replace the missing copies of the snake eye cards and its nearly on the same level as the tcg version of the deck.
