I put hundreds of hours into Soul Calibur 3, unlocking everything was incredibly fun. Taki was especially broken in this game, my brother beat Night Terror in less than 10 seconds. Also, screw the Guardian Force effect, that shit was awful
This game still has way more content than any of the later games and me and a friend still stand by that. Hell I'm starting to prefer getting my optional stuff from an in game storefront using your own in game money then using your real life money in a lifeless menu for dlc and costumes. God modern gaming is a thing nowadays but glad to hear some good positives for this particular game in the soul caliber license!
I never stopped playing. Purchased a $600 phone just to emulate Soul Calibur 3. Still playing to this day. Favorite game of all time. Even though I have a physical copy, the modded Arcade Edition ISO is too perfect to not play instead.
