    Thanks for the video! I’ve been thinking of doing this for my young trees since like you, I spend too much time watering them. This was very helpful.

    FANTASTIC!!!!! I just used your video and web page to order all the parts for a system of my own. My wife and I are planting 32 Thuja Green Giants and your setup is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you very much for doing this!!!!

    Want a straight trench? Set up a guide string between two points.

    What about mushroom/bubbler heads? I think those run at around $2 a pop too.

    That is hilarious about the pipe thread comment. I have been in the steel pipe business for 30 years and I still have to ask what all the abbreviations are about.

    Got my computer backup and running but like you I'm to tight to get a replacement for my 10 year old computer. I did have to replace the motherboard and power supply but both those were less than a 100 bucks.

      Still trying to find upgrade parts for my Apple Lisa so I can utilize VGA and USB 1.1. Anyone know if I can install Final Cut Pro, Adobe, and Pro Tools on it? Thanks for the help! Does anyone have an old floppy disk version of it I can borrow? I tried to hook up my iPod to it, but Apple said I have to upgrade first. I'm not sure what I need to add to the Lisa to upgrade it in order to run Windows 10 since the version of Avid I have is for such-- or should I be using Sony Vegas? It's all so confusing. I'm just getting back into personal computers as a hobby since taking a slightly brief hiatus from it all. I'm interested in trying the new DOS platform or possibly a great leap forward to an iMac G3 so I can run my X-Plane 11 Global Flight Simulator software. I think the modern iMac G3 will give me more realistic flight graphics! Any thoughts or suggestions on how to get it to look like I'm flying a Gulfstream or maybe even a Concord?

      It's in the description. I bought all my parts at Home Depot. Just go in and talk to someone in plumbing. They will help you.

    Is that tubing strong enough to bury inside the ground? Does it not have to be a white PVC schedule 40 pipe or at least 20 pipe?

    • @Growyourheirlooms
      @Growyourheirlooms  3 роки тому +1

      That black tubing is made to be buried in the ground. You don't really need the pvc, you can run irrigation tubing the whole way. It actually holds up to uv better than pvc

      Is this true for all sizes 1/2 and 3/4 and all wall thickness type? I have a garden 250 feet from my water tap so it thought of digging it 6 inches deep so that frost would not get it.

      Depends on your city and state regulations. But I see them required by code almost everywhere these days.

    Why didn't you run the trench straight to the closest tree, maybe the 6th one in the row and then split left and right from there? Lots less digging!

    • @Growyourheirlooms
      @Growyourheirlooms  5 років тому +1

      I have 2 rows. So I did run to the closest tree and just went past it. I then only had to move both rows in one direction. Also with one pipe I would have needed a lot more joints.

    Thanks for the parts list.
    Can you put the black plastic pipe you are using on the list?
    or
    Is this not the same plastic tubing you used on the raised garden beds???
    or
    List both, lol.
    Thanks
