- Hey everyone welcome back to another adventure with our family.
Whites Bay, a beautiful place with a hard road to tow a big caravan over.
Atleast it's a short stint up and over the hill and if you go early or late, chances are the road will be pretty quiet.
There are so many beautiful things to see and do over the hill though so it's worth it.
We enjoy sea food we collect ourselves, We dive and swim at Robin Hood bay and the kids freak me out with their big Rock Jumping skills, jumping between the rocks.

We live in Blenheim and really must go and stay at Whites Bay as it is on our doorstep. You are right about the drive in.
yea it's always hard to get to the places on your door step aye... Seems easier to get to the spots 2 - 5 hours away lol/

Thanks Cam, kids have been getting higher and higher up on the rocks the last couple of weeks causing me stress as they risk life and limb for the thrills, can't be any worse than surfing on a frozen lake though... See ya soon bro.

Port Underwood the drive is spectacular not a great deal of point trying to go quick you miss too much . Easy to forget hustle and bustle of cities . Thanks for rebooting my memory.

It's an adventure on its own heading out that rd, I think i spent half the time crossing the centre line so I didn't hit the bank with the caravan

It's great fun, and lovely slow paced life, we love not having to be out of the house in the morning to start a busy day... We do live in a great country for exploring around.

Yea been a fantastic summer so far, except for this current cold patch oh man it's chilly today... Last summer was great once we hit the south Island we were in the summerless North till Mid January. hopefully when we come to the North Island soon, the summer sun is shining on us.

hey mate, was an epic day, always nice having a birthday with the sun shining and being at the beach aye... Music is all off a subscription i pay for called musicbed, anyone can jump on there and find the music, I generally use folk as my Genre.
Has to be 1 of my favorite doc camps so glad I found this place perfect to stop in bfor the ferry ride back north

Robinhood bay is a awesome place
its' so cool there, I don't know how'd Id go getting out big caravan in there, but its a beautiful bay for sure.
Nice shot at the end at Pinders Pond. What an awesome summer trip with friends, we would have liked Robin Hood Bay to have been those conditions when we were there. It looked far more inviting. Loved the rock jumping and building dams

Not even because this videos only been up a day, so they can't be gone yet, plus I saw a video from a guy showing the same thing 2 years ago, hes had way more views I don't think it's a secret. Especially cause I did a video here a year ago... mate plenty of videos online about diving, all over NZ nothing special here

Hey mate big question we've got a video way back of how we planned it all, you might need to go back a couple of years I think it's called how we plan to pay for full time travel... I'm thinking out a video with my ideas for how anyone could do it, we've talked to a lot of people on the rd and everyone does it different... but you need to make a plan, make dome sacrifices, set a date... for us it took 3 years to get on the road

Its a great spot alright, I'd say it would be pretty easy to get in there now. You can book this site on line, it does get used pretty often by the locals who tow out for the weekend.

Popped out for a day trip without the caravan beautiful area alright quite a difficult spot to access with a large caravan. First takaka hill then the hill over to totaranui
@@leopardsgowild Yeah we watched a few people take it very easy over the hill in big caravans and campers before. But heck yeah, it's definitely worth the visit and for staying over and the massive golden beach for swimming and some awesome bush walks.

Well sometimes we like to sunbath in our bikinis which is nice. we only eat when we can get free food, was hard to get the rice, but we found a rice field and helpped ourselves.
