“$26 that’s the same price as an Arby’s roast beef sandwich” lol no lie
Damn how big was that thing? 😂
They are pretty substantial... but they’re just overpriced

I have a 52 inch Eyourlife light bar for my aging TJ. I go to extremely rural environments several times a week and go to ghost towns and old logging roads quite often. The lightbar has never let me down. It cost about the price of two tanks of fuel. With a tiny TJ fuel tank, that is well under one hundred dollars. I have never had any problem out of it. It gets drenched in water and mud, gets banged around on low branches, gets rocked around and jarred on off road adventures. It was advertised as having Cree LEDs so I did not care it was an off brand. My old TJ has the 52 inch light bar, two windshield bracket flood lights, two large yellow round fog lights, two spotlights under the fender pointing between the bottom of the fender and the front stainless tube bumper, and retrofitted LED headlights. All of them are off brand stuff with Cree LEDs. I have never had any problems using them in the rough areas I go. Why pay a bloated price for a name brand light that has Cree LEDs when you can get the off brand stuff with the same LEDs?
I spent my career in the telecommunications industry. Please beleave me when I tell you that electrical tape does NOT waterproof. If anything, it holds water in. Your better off without it so that the wire dries more quickly. A waterproof heatshrink would be a better choice.
John Houchins I prefer to use a little dielectric grease then heat shrink.
Exactly
I prefer cellotape
THANK YOU. Finally someone with sense
I can’t tell you the number of time I go to a property for electrical work and there’s a nest of electrical tape on the outdoor fixtures that eventually corrode the wire to the point of the extreme degradation. Electrical tape is lame as hell
I have one of those and it's good enough for my lawn mower to mow my yard at night.
you should probably aim them more than 5 feet at the road in front of your bumper
"you should probably aim them more than 5 feet at the road in front of your bumper" No you don't they need to be aimed low or the cops will give him a fit it ticket.
@@TheWingsoffury Hahaha, these bars are for offroad...
@@patrikdorusinec9816 yup and he's using them on-road
Spdklls7 I’m with you
@@TheWingsoffury In my state its perfectly legal to use them on-road as long as you are not blinding anyone, ive talked to numerous law enforcement officers, ranks, departments they all said the same thing, i use one as my high beams because mine suck
Pro tip. Wire your relay power wire through your bright lights so the light bar comes on when you turn on your bright lights. When you dim your lights it goes out. You can use the switch for the light bar to deactivate the light and use normal vehicle bright/dim lights without light bar. Draw back is light bar only works when headlights are on. Will not work with DRL. But it’s simple to turn on the vehicles lights. I do this to all my vehicles. Works like a champ.
I’ve had a 24” on my side by side for 5 years with no issues. Plowing in winter and mudding in summer. Also a 52” curved on my Jeep XJ with no issues. Both are insane bright as well. Now I’m putting a 25” on my brand new Chevy trail boss today. For the money they can’t be beat!!!
What’s the name of the 24”
it looks like its aimed a little low there.
Yakin & Packin maybe that's the area he wanted to look at everybody has their own way personally I like a little low low
It's definitely aimed way low.
This video literally sold me, I bought the light bar and harness the night I watched this vid. Just waiting for delivery
I just ordered the same bar for 25 and the kit for $9.89..Can't wait to hook mine up
What’s the light called?
Wasnt expecting that moan lmao
lmao
I subed just for that lmao
I fast forwarded like 30 seconds and all I heard was this super loud moan like wtf
My mother was next to me
Riding in the car with my mom and hear that
I really like the rooster that made the video bro
Nice little install and quick review. They do throw a lot of light. Let us know how well they held up to the elements. I'm a KC guy myself, because I'm a little bit old school, but that seems like an excellent value. Stay safe on the trails.
Here Is a Heads Up
If You are getting a Howling issue from the Light Bar when driving at high speed it would sound like a Whistling Kettle or you might think it will be something in the engine bay area, just put rubber door trim across the fins and it Fixes the problem.
You wiring everything up before testing it gave me severe anxiety
Yeah these lights are usually 9-36vdc so you could have used an adapter inside to test lights and wiring, I'm gonna assume though that you did that. Just didn't make a video of it?
You should make a video on how to fix the condensation problem with the nilight line. As someone who lives in a rainy state in had to seal mine out of the box
add Laminx 2 inch amber strip and apply it to your light bar. works wonders specially when it's snowing, raining or foggy.
This was a really good video a lot of good tips lot of good techniques you gave away a lot of gold.
I'll buy that for a dollar ! Great video and install.
Great video. Your bar seems a little low. Could have been the camera. Maybe raise it a inch or so.I wired my light bar to the bright light wires behind my headlight. No string of extra wires or relays at the headlight are relayed already no extra switchs or holes in my dash. It goes on and off with my brights. Also My light bar is behind my grill as well. Anti theft i guess you can say. They kept geting stolen at walmart of all places. Just a idea for people looking at a lightbar install.
Thank you for the links and vid. I'm gonna check out that bumper
I wish people did amp tests with these bc I’ve seen comments about the bars pulling less than 10% of claimed power
The pig was a great touch🤣🤣🤣 what up girl😂😂😂
Just got 4 of them at a garage sale. Cool
I'm on it. Like stink on Al Sharpton. Good video bro-hiem
Lmao... thanks man, much appreciated!
You need too mount one in the back, tied too the reverse lights!
I gotta get those for my truck thanks bro
Be cool to see how it holds up
Just ordered one for my atv. Looking forward to it.
You will love it. I have three of those now on three different vehicles.. all still working good as new. Love ‘em!
@@BrianEaly will I need the kit for a 4 wheeler?
@@milepost107 the wiring kit? Shouldn’t need it. Make it a lot easier though. You can just splice it into existing lights as long as their fuse holds that wattage. Nice thing about the kits is you get a separate switch to control the bar and it’s on a separate fuse setup. Plus the switch is lighted wether it’s on or off so it is easy to find in the pitch black.
I run my power wire to an old school floor dimmer switch. It works great I am running ridged brand and I burn retinas
For the price it’s not that bad. I’ve got one on a gator and mower. Something to just beat the tar outta.
4 deer??? that's a good start! Keep up the good work.
Love the energy, keep it up brotha.
Sir where did u connect the wire just from the battery positive and negative
I'm getting one for my Frontier
You might be better linking the relay into your full beam. I did that with my bar ... FAR easier than having to click the button each time and you don't need to run the wiring into the car either. Looks great though!
agrred they actually make connectors that u attach to your headlights that allow for this
Often one can take a signal from the relay that controls the high beam on the vehicle and use that to trigger your led relay. I usually still run the signal through a switch inside so I can use my high beams without the led if I want. But normally in rural Ontario they run with my high beams 90% of the time.
Everyone saying how illegal this is clearly hasnt been to Australia
I got the same jeep and my fog lights are in my bumper they are 2 (4) LED bulbs per light and they will blind ya.
I want to put this somewhere on my miata, but where...
Mate, you might need to adjust and jsut raise your bar a bit. It's blasting the ground in front of you, rather than horizon line. As far as I can see from the video. Cheers
WALMART $40 WITH HARNESS

Great video!!! Thanks for the info... Considering for the future for sure!
TSAUTO on Amazon seems also good option if you seeking for very best quality lights. It is better quality than RIGID while more competitive price. www.amazon.com/s?k=TSAUTO&ref=nb_sb_noss
dude i got one with a wirerless switch n sticky taped it right to my steering wheel !
can you please tell where you got?
why dont you just hook the remote cable up to the high beam lights that is original on your car, so the led bar turns on when you turn on high beam?
@@supertreme5559 they have a large battery draw depending on the LEDs, that wouldn't be a good idea on a aging battery, and could prematurely kill your battery. These lights aren't intended as daily driver lights , they're more situational lights ,
Now u can see the deer and swerve and hit a tree cause u going to fast 😂
Blind oncoming traffic so they swerve and hit him
What did the DOE say when she walked out of the woods? " I'll never do that again for 26 bucks"
How has this light bar held up over time? I am from Wyoming, so I’m looking for something that will handle the winter
With these cheap eBay/Amazon Chinese lights, you can either get a really good one or a really bad one. If you end up with a bad one, you'll have individual LED chips burn out, maybe even an entire part of the board they're soldered to go bad or you might end up with moisture inside the lens that you can't remove because they use really cheap weatherproofing materials and procedures. It really is a gamble, but if you're wanting something to play around with to see if it works, you can't go wrong with something so cheap. Maybe have a custom nylon cover, sorta like the old KC driving lights you see on some trucks, that would help keep the weather off it until you actually need to use it.
The ones I have I made certain they had the Cree LEDs in them and they have been running regularly, about twice a week, in very unforgiving environments for five years. I have never had a problem. Just make sure the off brand stuff has the Cree LEDs in them and you will never have a problem. The name brand light bars are also made in China and also have Cree LEDs so there is little difference.
Great video thank you for the review
I see it has a cord, does it have a plug for indoor use?
That was a great video, thanks!
Aim it up a little bit, I got lights to who laid the rail. So aim it up a little bit you’ll get more light
The bolts for the rings are both on the same side... Please swap one to the opposite side it'll look way better.
I recently upgraded mine. Amazon lights are good. But the lenses yellow in the sun. I got water in them too. I ended up with rough country lights. Better quality. Came with covers to be legal in some states that require it. Plus the prices were not bad.
Hi, I got a similar one of these, and was pissed, that there were NO instructions included. Your video will give me the courage to install it following Your ideas. Do You think these things are safe? (electrically) Thank you. P.S. nice animals (friends)
Jeepers mate, did you have your hand on it for the whole drive? lol
6:56 oh yeah
Where in the world are you getting your Arby's roast beef sandwiches?????
You posted the wrong link for the light bar. It took me to a 9 inch 108 watt bar.
This video can be used as evidence. The person who posted it put off-road lighting on his vehicle then took it out on public streets to test. That's a paddlin'.
The bars looks great . Only downer is these cheap bars build up.moisture
Inside
Been over a year, never had a drop. 🤷♂️ Just uploaded a update video. In my case I never came across this problem. Thanks man, take care.
Hey that is some bright light, I am trying to figure out how to install a removable light for when retrieving a boat at night from a launch ramp with no lights around! Got any ideas
?
Awesome
You made a typo in the title...
How long will it last?
Cheap lights like this are ok in a scenario where they dont get beat around, and get super heavy use. They dont hold the same quality as some of the better known names. Over time the lenses will fade, the bar will get corroded if you see snow and salt, etc. I had purchased a lamphus maverix for $200 years ago and had it on my truck for years. Right up until my truck died. Through new England winters and all it prevailed with only a little bit of chipping on the powder coat and a little bit of moisture on the inside of the lense. My guess is a seal started to wear after the 4 years or so it was on my truck. Anyways that was something I took off and kept off my truck to be used on the next project. Going to recoat it and fix the seals so itll continue to shine on. I was really disappointed when lamphus discontinued their maverix series. Awesome bars for sure.
The rooster like it i guess 😂😂
Does it still work and do they still work good? Do you still recommend it?
Ohh man, for sure. I have put them on two more vehicles since. And added a 50” to the Jeep. Price vs. function this is Best Buy on the market. Not paid by company. Thanks. Take care!!!
Great video man
Thanks, I appreciate it!
I have 240w of led on my tracker wired to my high beams so I can flick them off easy for oncoming traffic. The only switch I used was to select if I want it to turn on or not with the high beams. They helped me avoid a deer recently. They are also great for idiot drivers that don't turn their lights down.
How you wire it to the high beams ?cut the headlight wire and join 3 wires together or was there a easier way for it
@@trav9402 tap into the highbeam + and use it to trigger a relay. To avoid cutting the factory wiring I got harness extensions on ebay and cut on it. I also put a switch in line incase I want to flick the highbeams without the leds.
@@allenmckinney9533 okay awesome thanks
@@trav9402 you connect the remote on the relay to the 12v(+) on the high beams :)
@@supertreme5559 okay thanks ill try that when i gets my light bar :)
First….
Title says $20
Then at end says $26
Make your mind up😂
Good video
probably should set it at 0 degrees because you have it pointing at the road and not up the road
Has the light lasted up to this point???
You should try adventure king's
Can you wire it in order to both attach a magnetic base, and to plug into cigarette lighter? If not.....do you have some suggestions? I saw several on AliExpress, but I really don’t want to wait a month or more.... thanks much
Like for having an rsx
After driving with the Bar nothing else will do can see krtters before they jump out at ya..
Was Rick Flair in your Jeep with you??
better to tie them into the high beams, no fumbling for a switch while blinding oncoming traffic.
Wes Richards I like that idea too but it’s illegal in some places.
Nice man, so how was it until now still works well?
Omg I know where that road is lol it’s in Ohio going towards Moscow
I was thinking about how much it looked like Ohio as I was watching this.
6:24 u said we'll be done, at what moment does your radio require a code ?
nice
You hit 4 deer in one year?! Lol i barely even see any deer.
Wow how much was it
The thing about the cheap chinese lights isn't how much it's how long!
Gotta buy whisle caps warn deer 🦌 lol or not say you did .
is the light switch always causing a draw? it is wired directly to the battery so I would think the led within the switch would always be on vs connecting to a wire that is only hot with the ignition.
Grady Raymer - yes, it constant draws. You can wire into a light that’s only on in ignition, or jump out of the fuse box on a ignition point. My set up is multiple drives a week did not apply. This is an awesome question. I forgot to cover it, and will try to move this to the top of my feed. Thanks man. I try to think and film these videos out, but I forget to include stuff. Take Care!
Brian Ealy thanks soooo much for responding so quickly. I am trying to add lights to my daughters vehicle and had already purchased a similar wire harness set up when I had that question arise in my head.. and I then found your video. I am ok if the main light comes on with or without the ignition (she won’t forget to turn that off) but am concerned about parasitic draw from the led light switch. If I disconnect one of the bottom white wires I am hoping that the constant light on the switch won’t work BUT the main light will still work when pressed. I will update my response with my findings. Thanks and take care.
Gulfstreamaqua - you can buy a fuse with a wire built in where you can tap right into an accessory power extra fuse position if you feel more comfortable taking that step, or if the car isn’t driven very often. Then it will only run when the key is past the second click. They sell them at auto stores for about $7 and the fuse diagram on the car will show you the additional empty slots. Thanks again.
@@Gulfstreamaqua FYI simply disconnecting the bottom white meant constant draw light did not activate BUT the lights still worked without ignition (I was fine with that ) AND I took your suggestion and made the light switch connect as an accessory (much more pro like finish :)) Thanks again
Would it be possible to run two (or maybe 3) of these LED light bars at the same time or do they draw too much current?
You can do It, but I recommended separatly wire.
Mountain Fanatic you could easily run 3 of those light bars from the one relay.
Each light bar is 126 watts which equals about 10amps and the relay switch is rated to 40amps.
I'm new too LED, why is the relay needed?
Edit -- nevermind, watched a video on relays .
@@fishingismydrug1 these led bars are not 126watts btw. thats just what they are saying. it almost doesnt draw any power. use a 40A relay and dont run 1 wire down for the lights. run seperately wires for each led bar, or use a thciker cable. beccause the cable might not handle it if the lights stay on for a long time. so use a thicker cable or 3 cables. and connect the remote on the relay up to your 12v(+) connection on your original high beams on your car so you can use the handle behind the wheel to turn off and on. if you want a swtitch for the lights you can install a switch in between the high beam connection and the relay
@@supertreme5559 Thank you.

How has this held up over time
Addicted49 - it is still perfect, I put the same one on two other cars, and put one of their 50 inchers on the same Jeep. You can’t beat the quality vs cost. Thanks, take care.
Brian Ealy I was just going to comment wondering if they were still going strong but this comment is new enough... Have they been holding up against natural elements good? Such as water? And what’s the manufactures name on Amazon that sells them? Thanks!
COLTON_CJF - they are all still perfect. Not a bit of water or fog an any of them at all. You can search the Nilight light bar and you’ll see them listed as amazon’s choice.... For the price, you’ll love it. Thanks, take care!
