The entire performance is brilliant. I enjoy watching the added musical character, which I think makes the performance seem more meaningful to its audience. The character shown amongst the musicians reminds me of a question-answer or some kind of musical interplay going on between the musical instruments (like a conversation) and it is nice to see the musicians acting alongside showing this kind of thing; with facial expressions and variations of mood, from energetic, serious and happy. It makes their performance more entertaining and expressive.

Unless you were there in Vivaldi's time, i wouldn't know why this or any other interpretation wouldn't be valid and valuable in itself. Even so, there is no holy book of rules for any period or for any kind of music. This is a wonderfully inspired live performance, that brings great joy. Well done and well presented. Live music at its best.

    • @ManuelJoao3105
      @ManuelJoao3105 7 років тому +6

While there is no book of rules for any period, you can extrapolate with greater precision for diferent sets of documents left for history. We know that we can't play Vivaldi the same way we play Mozart or even more clear of a diference, we can't play Vivaldi the same way we play Schubert. We know that from all the documents, letter and treaties that were left from people in those times. We can have a sense of what as considered acceptable or not.
IF you want to know a little more, there's a book that talks about this in a funny and easy way to understand if you have little to know musical knowledge but if you do the book is even better, with musical exemples and everything -> The end of early music, by Bruce Haynes.

Karajan would want want all composers to be played in the same way. Suffice to say that it is far fetched to imagine him conducting an early music ensemble. As for this performance I enjoyed it but I prefer Il Giardino Armonico's.

Someone described what an early performance of this would look like. Early in the 18 century Vivaldi's students were orphaned girls. He wrote this music for them to play. You would be in a church and they would walk in and sit on the high choir balcony all covered in white from head to toe and sit and play music like this.

The God of heaven and earth is Elder Park Tae Sun.
    Do you know God's name?
In the West, in the fear of the name of God, in the east, of the glory of God.
Here is the name of God. It means that God came out of man.
Is there anyone in the world who announced that I am God?
In 1980, Elder Park Tae Sun declared, "I am God!"
I will reveal to the world that Korea is the East, the place to fear the glory of God.
In Israel, the East is the Republic of Korea.
A country that is not destroyed here forever is a country where the sun will lose its light and will emerge afterward!
It is the country of Park Tae Sun.
Do you know that the candlestick of Israel came to the East as the East?
You will see that in the Republic of Korea there is a new, never-destroying country.
God's Word of Man's Creation, the Word of the Alien, the Word of the End Times, and the Word of the eternal world are recorded on the following website.
Five hundred years ago, the book of the prophets written by the teacher of Nasagoda, the name of God is shown in the file.
IIn the above passage, God's name clearly appears in the prophecies name is.It does not matter whether you believe this or not.God will judge you and build an eternal kingdom.
