I LOVE this performance! There is a level of freshness, energy, and an unusual spontaneity here, which truly demonstrate the quality of Vivaldi's work. He would have been proud. A brilliant soloist and such a young orchestra!

My favorite recorder piece! And performance.
Loved it. The Orchestra was excellent and very sensitive to the soloist.
There's one thing though. I noticed it in other recorder videos on UA-cam too. The recorder just seems to quiet. I don't know, if it's because the way the sound was recorded or because modern strings are far louder then their baroque predecessors. Baroque recorders are pretty much the same, as they were back then.
That magical combination of technical precision and passion.

Its written for recorder so modification necessary. I'm always amazed Vivaldi wrote like that for recorder, he knew exactly what he was doing as the part pushes boundaries but at the same time is completely idiomatic.

Die Blockflöte ist zu unrecht verrufen. Sie klingt nur bei ungeübten Menschen schrecklich, aber wenn man am Ball bleibt, wird es irgendwann ein wunderschöner Klang.
Ganz genau! Ich spiele selber seit 6 Jahren Blockflöte und es nervt, dass manche Menschen sie als "Anfängerinstrument" bezeichnen und es gar nicht zu würdigen wissen, wenn jemand gut Blockflöte spielt!
Ja, ganz meine Meinung. Bin jetzt seit 15 Jahren dabei und poliere jeden Tag fleißig am Image der Blockflöte (Sopran+Alt).
Du hast so recht! Ich spiele seit 8 ,5 Jahren Sopran ,alt und tenorflöte und es nervt tierisch dass es immer als anfängerinstrument bezeichnet wird 😠
Immerhin durfte sie mit der Blockflöte auftreten. Es hätte ja auch sein können, dass der Veranstalter verlangt hätte, dass nur ernsthafte Musikinstrumente gespielt werden.
@@Beabo0 es ist meistens so, weil die billigen Sopranflöten meistens für höchstens 30€ erworben werden können und deswegen perfekt als "anfängerinstrument" benutzt werden. Meine Klasse zum Beispiel hasst die Blockflöte, weil wir in der 5. Und 6. Klasse mit 30 Sopranflöten Stücke gespielt haben. Es war echt die Hölle

Wunderschön, werde dieses Video für mein Blockflötenreferat nehmen da es einfach Anmutige Klänge sind, die Instrumente harmonieren wunderbar,von ton zu ton erfreut es mein Ohr mehr und mehr
ich spiele ja auch selbst ein wenig,dennoch könnte ich diese Dame nie übertreffen ,zumal das flöten nur eine freizeitaktivität meinerseits ist.
Der Flötenspielerin gilt mein Allerhöchster Respekt,möglicherweise werde ich das Flöten doch noch besser erlernen denn diese töne sind klingt Atemberaubend perfektes c-Moll

Who made the recorder? It definitely looks to be a "Denner" model in A=440 (due to modern instruments playing). But whether it was handmade or factory made... it looks to be boxwood of some kind.

+BinesBirdsAndShihTzu Yes, "Blockflöte" is German for "recorder" in English. However, in English that recorder would be considered an alto or treble recorder, not a soprano. They are considered to be tuned in the key of "F major," but considering that they are chromatic instruments, and it is easier to play songs on one in C or G major, that just tells you what the fingering is.

She is playing an alto recorder either in g' or f'. Soprano recorders (usually in c'') are much smaller :-)
