I gotta head to Fleet Feet today to pick up our race packets and you BET I will be trying on some of these shoes today (I'm low-key excited!). Maybe I'll pick up a new pair of socks too. Great video as usual Aubrey!
First running shoe was Brooks for $200 last week bought Floatride Energy 5 for $55 because of your videos and let me tell you a game changer great shoe for beginners Thanks 🙏 for the video and the great advice
This is all it’s about, thank you for this feedback… I truly do appreciate it. It means a lot to hear that these videos help. I really do enjoy making them and sharing them so this kind of feedback makes the work worthwhile
Although the price of 220 US$ (£ 173) was too high for me, I want to stick with the Asics super shoe regardless of price due to its prior success from previous records.PEACE guys
Since you asked, the thought of paying $500 USD for a shoe that I can only use once does not appeal to me. Else, my threshold is $250 USD for a race day shoe. Congrats for 14K subs.
Thank you for the kind wishes! 14,000 is no small thing! Thank you to you all. And yeah… these costs are too much but I guess it’s all what you pay for!
I've griped about the AlphaFly 1 and 3's that cost me around $290.00 USD, I pouted but I still unregrettably shoved out the cash. However, the Adidas Adios Pro Evo for $500.00 USD is where I draw the line! Maybe if it was really, really durable I would maybe try and talk myself into it for a special marathon but being that it's mainly good for 1 marathon..IT'S AN ABSOLUTELY " HELL NO" FOR ME.
You kinda said it but aside from cost there’s the issue of value. So what is more durable. If something costs £220 or £250 but is 100km more durable that might change the rankings?! I love the look of those Pumas but I know my feet won’t fit in them….
Fully agreed with this! I think this is why some shoes are not as hyped amongst average runners because they are limited in terms of life span. Some shoes are for 1 or 2 marathons and that’s it!
Quality content and smooth editing as always
Much appreciated! I don’t take such feedback lightly! Cheers 👋
Puma Deviate Nitro Elite3's older brother Puma Deviate Nitro Elite 2 is a very underrated shoe. Its fast, very fast with an exceptional outsole grip.
Before the deviate nitro elite 3 that was my favourite shoe from Puma period!

I’m excited to hear back on the socks! Also please tag me on a story when you’re at fleet feet! I honestly want to visit one when I come to the states

Great info thanks for sharing
It’s genuinely my pleasure! I do appreciate it!
Diadora Gara Carbon is a fun racing shoe !
It really is! Fully agreed and I love the Glow Up that Diadora has done
Thanks again for this video. My price max for a race day pair of shoes would be 260€ or pounds
That’s fair… I know it’s personal to your own circumstances but it’s amazing how we have universally adjusted to these new prices
mine is 100-120€ range :P
I got so lucky when I walked into a Adidas store and saw Pro 3s for €150/£125. Supershoes for the same money as pegasus 41s…
That’s a no brainer! Take my money!!!
Nice 👍🏿
Thanks 💯
As of late I've been running in adidas line up sl, sl2, takumi sen9, Boston 11 long run shoe is nb more v4
I’m a ridiculously bossy More V4 fan! I’m all about that Mac cushion and that shoes delivers exactly that
@@AubreyRunning it's even said it's even more responsive than more v5..

Once you find a show that works for you… absolutely makes sense to stick to it

I wish they made race day shoes in wide… maybe one day
Surely there much be one out there somewhere
Still awaiting a adidas sl 2 review..
I unfortunately never got that shoe!
It’s got to be last years colours on discount for the best value. You’ve got to really want them NOW to pay full whack.
Facts! I hear you and I think that’s where reviewers may not have full appreciation because we get them gifted
No Brooks listed here like Hyperion max or elite ?
I don’t own a brooks race day shoe sir

I hear you! I’m in the fortunate position of having these shoes gifted to me but have to say I couldn’t afford most of them.
@@AubreyRunning Yea I feel you...most people can't!
nice one champ
Let’s go brother! Thank you for always being here

ASICS makes training shoes US size 14..15..16 but not the race day shoes 🤯👎🏿👎🏿 … why??? Nike is king I’m a US 14 / 15
I honestly didn’t know that!
$300 is too much but I’d still pay it if I had the chance😂
I hear you for sure!!!
£225 max … wouldn’t want to pay over £250. Realistically, I nearly always pay much much less on Discount
How often would you buy one?
@@AubreyRunning - I bought MetaSPEED Paris this year for NYC Marathon. I think it’s a mindset thing, like in my head « This is full Commitment »
Maybe full price once a year? Discounted top shoes as they come up
let's go to 20.000 before Berlin
That would be a dream!
Prime X is NOT a race shoe
What makes a race day shoe in your opinion? And why is this one NOT?
@@AubreyRunning it has to be race legal, the prime X is sold as a training shoe
I believe no race shoe should be above 200.00 period..hey Aubrey let's make a shoe?
I think that’s more than fair, I know some will say far less
