In this video I’m going to be showing you how to fit the front fog light kit. If you look online there are many kits available. I chose the Travelinlite kit, link below if you’re interested.

Good kit comes with all the bits you need. I have already got the Sportline bumper add on from them so hoping it fits well.

I used Travelinlite to upgrade the auto light switch and all the interior lights on my 5.1 Shuttle. A total of 18 interior lights, 24 individual leds comprising of 2 of their Caravelle kits, +an additional 2, 36mm leds and a packet of the tiny wedge bulbs off Fleabay.........
Wow, what a difference it makes in the dark! 👍.
Sadly, they're out of stock of the fog lights at the moment..... 😕
Wow I bet it’s bright in there! A lot of people slate them on prices etc but in my honest/ non biased opinion… Travelinlite all the way 👍🏻

Hey Tom. Thanks for the videos! Out of interest, how do you manage to keep the DRLs on at same time as fog lights? Mine go out and the side lights come on... cheers
The drls are the TravelinLite ones.. they are powered by the feed to the main vow drls. Not sure how the dogs stay on. I got my feed from the main power to the switch, you may have the other wires in the wrong number connections..
Awesome video, you made fitting mine a breeze can you tell me where you got the bumper where the black inserts come out? And the lamps fit in from the front?
Gary blair thanks fella, the front sportline bumper part is from travelinlite. Great fit too, come primed just need to paint. The inserts can be a little fiddly to get back in but I added a couple of hidden black screws...
Great video, can you tell me once installed is it one pull on the switch for fronts to work and two pulls for front and rears. Thanks

Hi thanks for the video, new to my T5 i find driving at night the dipped beam is poor, are the fog lights a good fix to help night driving or should i look to improve the main lights?.
Can’t beat a decent bulb at night, I’d look to upgrade the bulbs, although it looks smart driving with your fogs on will annoy on coming drivers 👍🏻👍🏻
What's the name to the screw connector that goes into the back of the block connector?
Did you put a grommet on the metal duct you drilled a hole in for the wiring ?

Hi Tom, is your van a bluemotion? Im having problems with a fog light kit supplied by a different company. My van has the switch with the sml plug attachment. Do you know where the fof light fuse is located so I can check this? Many thanks.

Mate Im in the process of fitting a T5.1 face life like yours, never done anything like this before. some fool crashed in to me last year! Did you have any issues with things not marrying up right? The DRL kit plastic dosent clip in great..
Hey buddy, no issues with mine, they can be a bit fiddly.. often the bottom rights/left don’t push in very well.. most of the time they fit well… you might need to add a little bit of bonding glue in the bottom corners if you have cut away too much….

Where did you get them blue connectors from?
The blue possi taps come in the kit, I think travelinlite sell them on there own too

Got it from travelinlite, kit comes with everything you need, there’s two types of kit. 1 comes with the standard fog light switch and the other comes with the auto upgrade 👌🏻

Anyone else's fog lights sit to far back? Mine have a few mm gap at the bottom, very noticeable.
Check if the fitting of the sport line valance is correct.. if that’s not lined up very well the fogs won’t sit far enough forward…
Got same kit for mine vw t5.1, but unfortunetly it doesnt work, did exsacly same as video :/
Oh, double check connections.. make sure it’s all plugged in properly etc
